Author's Note: Basically, it's just Minako leaving the base and heading to Italy with Fran…

It's been a few days since Sasagawa came back. "Onii-san, I'm going to be heading to Italy to fight with the Varia," I say straight out as I sit down across the table from Onii-san. He looks at me and seems to consider this. He looks slightly reluctant as he nods. Onii-san must be worried about me… I smile a little. "I'll be fine, Onii-san. I am your sister after all." Onii-san smiles a little at this.

"Mina-san, Fran from the Varia is here," Kusakabe says.

I nod. "Could you let him know that I'll be there in a minute?" Kusakabe nods and walks out of the room again. I stand up. "Well, it's time for me to go, Onii-san." I give him a hug and evidently, he's surprised. "Thank you for taking care of me since I got here," I say quietly. Onii-san pats me on the head and I let go of him. "See you, Onii-san," I say with a smile. I run off to go meet up with Fran right outside of the base.

"You're finally ready, you old hag?" Fran asks in his monotone way as usual.

I grin. "Yeah, you warty toad," I reply without a bat of an eye. Kusakabe looks confused, but he doesn't question it. "Kusakabe-san, please let Tsuna-kun and the others know that I left when you have the time."

"Alright."

"Thank you for helping me since I came here, Kusakabe-san. Take care of Onii-san in my place," I say. Kusakabe smiles and nods. "Alright Fran, let's go then."

"Finally…" Fran says. His appearance changes to a male with blue hair and red eyes wearing a pineapple hat and I let out a laugh. "Ha, I knew you'd laugh. But I guess I should be serious." His eyes turn from red to blue and his hairstyle changes to a more "normal" looking one.

It's my turn to change my appearance, so my hair changes from long, dark hair to red, mid-length hair and my eyes change from their shade of grey to a red that matches with my hair. "There."

Fran shrugs indifferently. "Let's go."

I look around carefully as we walk through town and head towards the airport. The town is crawling with Millefiore people. I do my best to ignore them and avoid catching their attention. I glance at Fran once I notice that one of the Millefiore people starts to head towards us. "Just pretend that we're going on vacation together," Fran mutters to me. I nod as Fran takes my hand.

"May I ask where you two are going?" the Millefiore wearing a Black Spell uniform asks. He asks us politely and doesn't seem to be trying to be as intimidating as some of the others.

"I'm just going to France with my girlfriend," Fran replies. For once, there actually seems to be some emotion in his voice rather than the usual monotone way that he speaks.

I smile. "Isn't that great of him?"

"You wouldn't have happened to have seen some teenagers acting suspiciously, have you?"
I give him a confused look and shake my head. "No, I can't say that we have… Sorry." Fran nods in agreement.

"I see. Thank you for your cooperation," the man says before walking away to question someone else.

As we continue to walk towards the airport, I turn to Fran and ask, "When do you plan on letting my hand go?"

"Just a little longer, just to make Master Mukuro upset later," he replies. Though I don't like the idea of Fran holding my hand, I don't object to getting Mukuro a bit upset.

We manage to get back to the other Varia members without running into any trouble. Though I can't say that I'm happy about having to stay with the annoying members of the Varia until after the invasion, I can say that I'm glad to be in a spacious area. "Oh, Fran's finally back with Minako everyone!" the man I recognize as Lussuria sings out.

"Fran, took you long enough!" Squalo exclaims as he and the others come over. They're all looking at me. I cross my arms and glare back without a word.

"Shishishi," Bel laughs. "She's pretty much the same as the older version."

"The main problem is if she's strong enough," Levi comments. I target him with my glare now.

"I can't guarantee you that I'm as strong as my future-self is, but I can guarantee you that I'm strong enough for the time being," I reply as I continue to glare directly at Levi.

Lussuria still seems happy. "You're right Bel! She almost exactly like the Minako that we know." He turns to me now. "Come on Minako, let's go find you a Varia uniform that fits you, okay?"

I nod. "Alright."
