Chapter 12: Welcome to the Army

It was a week later, and things had calmed down somewhat. No more Grimm had shown up, but Ruby and her team were still weary. They went nowhere without their gear, and some spare ammo/Dust.

The Dust that was collected from what Dumbledore was calling the "Point of Crossing" was stored in the girls' room, under multiple security charms and a few traps Blake had rigged up. They were not going to let Umbridge get a hold of any of that Dust. If she did, god know what the toad would do with it.

However, with the Dust, even in crystal form, Ruby could make ammo for all of them that needed, and after Weiss showed her how, refine it to a powder form to make it easier to work with. She still need a workshop was the problem though. That would change very quickly.

While the DA was slated to have a meeting soon, Weiss had gotten, just barely, permission from Umbridge to start a club on etiquette in high society. While the heiress might not know the proper etiquette in the Wizarding World, Daphne did, and the slytherin would be assisting Weiss in this part of the Army. This would act as a cover story for them, so if Umbridge or the Ministry started to think that Dumbledore was training an army, it could be shown that it was Weiss teaching them how to behave in Society, and not embarrass themselves.

Meeting up with Hermione, the Gryffindor led RWBY to the meeting room of Dumbledore's Army. It looked like a plain door, but when the four walked in, were shocked at the size. It was at least half the size of the Great Hall, and held everyone comfortably. "Harry, what room is this?" Blake asked, holding her composure for the moment.

"Not sure. Dobby called it the Come and Go room. It's suppose to produce what you need, so a space for us to train." Harry said, before a full weapon's workshop appeared in a corner. Ruby was ecstatic, as this meant that she could get to work on ammo and weapons.

"Ruby, we have student's to train. Once we're done here, you can hit the forges." Yang said, snapping the weapon geek out of it. Ruby at least had the decency to look a sheepish.

"Right. Well, time to get on with this." Harry muttered to himself. "Listen everyone. We're all here because the Ministry won't teach us how to defend ourselves. Many of you don't believe me about Voldemort coming back, and fine, don't believe that, but we do need to be ready, and of the Ministry doesn't want us to be ready, we'll have to do it ourselves." Harry said, giving what he hoped to be a motivating speech.

It seemed to get the job done, as the gather students seemed eager to learn some spells. "Alright, we'll start simple. Expelliarmus. If you can disarm a wizard, or even someone with more Muggle weapons, you've already won half the fight. Now, pair up, and practice on each other. The floor should have some padding behind you if you trip after getting hit." Harry instructed the students, and they got to work.

About half were working on spells, while the other half were with Weiss and Daphne. "Alright, I can tell most of you want to be over there practicing the stuff that will really matter when it comes to open war, but for now, in order to keep up the illusion of an etiquette club, you will need to learn proper etiquette. I can teach the basics that seems to be the same everywhere, while Daphne here will fill in the rest." Weiss said. Many did not like this at all, but knew they would get their turn over in the practical area.

At about the half hour mark, the sections switched, with the students in the spellwork going to etiquette, and etiquette going to spellwork. The students in team RWBY's class did half spells, and half weapon practice.

The students, no, members of Dumbledore's Army, did well for the first meeting. While a few mishaps, such as Neville get blasted back by Luna when she accidentally hit him an overpowered Expelliarmus, everything went fairly smooth.

"Alright guys, not bad. Hermione is passing around fake Galleons. The print date on them will tell you the date of the next meeting, and they'll heat up when a new date is given. Don't lose them, as that would be bad." Harry said as just about everyone filed out. Only Ruby and Yang stayed behind.

Weiss returned quickly, holding a case, with Blake having a similar one in both hands. "Alright, this is all the Dust we have. You sure you know what you're doing Ruby?" Weiss asked, unsure of Ruby's ability, claims on having made Crescent Rose aside.

"Im sure Weiss. All I need to do is refine the Dust into a powder form, and then I can get to work on making ammo for me, Blake, Yang, and my three shooters." Ruby said, as excited as ever.

The magic of the Room of Requirement answered the needs of Ruby, placing a few workstations for Dust refinement, and a reloading bench to make some bullets. The red caped scythe user was about pass out from excitement. She even saw some metal in a bin, meaning she would be able to make some upgrades.

"Alright guys, I'll be fine. If I'm not done in about, three hours, come get me." Ruby said as she got to work, shooing out everyone else still in the room.

"She really likes weapons, huh?" Harry said as he walked back to the common room. He was going over what he could do for the next meeting, while Hermione was doing the same, and Ron was whining about food.

Once the Golden Trio made it to the common room, Harry went upstairs to the dorm room, and nabs his Invisibility Cloak. Once he had it, Harry head back down, telling Ron he was going to go and check something he had heard about. Ron shrugged and let Harry go without much hassle.

Once in the hall, Harry put the cloak on, slipping away from the common room and to a room he hadn't seen in four years, not since Dumbledore had moved the Mirror of Erised. As to why he was go there, someone from the DA had asked him to go there, and with the Map and Cloak, decided to take the risk.

Once at the room, Harry checked the Marauder's Map. So, she came alone, like she promised. Ok, now lets see what she wants Harry thought as he opened the door. Once inside, he took off the cloak, and saw the person he was here to meet with.

"Daphne, you wanted to meet?"

A/N: So, here's a chapter, and a cliffhanger, because I feel like being evil and what not. Next chapter will cover this little meeting, and then skip ahead to a week before OWLs, with the chapter after that should be OWLs, and lead into the DOM battle.

Also, I just checked the view count. 10,000 views and some change. Thats just insane. Never thought I would get that many. Thank you, to everyone who reads this. Till next time, this is Lone, signing out
