I jump out from behind the rock that I was hiding behind with I-Pin and Lambo before Onii-san gets hit by one of the starfish and I attack it with my naginata. "Minako-chan!" Tsuna exclaims.

"Minako?" Onii-chan asks.

"I don't really understand what's going on, but I'll support Onii-san to the end," I reply. I turn to another starfish flying towards me.

"The Deathperation Flames emitted from the Vongola Rings are fine indeed. I'll start by using them as the subject of my experiment. My eyes widen as two large vacuum cleaner looking things come out from the weird green contraption on the ocean. To my surprise, Onii-san, Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto's flames get sucked up. They all crouch on the ground. "O-Onii-san?" I ask.

"Hahaha. Magnificent. The perfect word to use. This is the power I sought," a voice says over the speakers. Lobsters appear, but now they're using the flames that were taken.

Onii-san and the others look like they can produce their Deathperation flames. Onii-san crouches again. He seems exhausted, so I start to attack the lobster in his place.

"Cloud person! Cloud person's sister! Look out!" Chrome Dokuro exclaims. I dive to the ground in time and to my relief, Onii-san does too.

"You are all helpless now. If you wish to save them hand over the Vongola Rings," the voice says over the speakers. I watch as I-Pin and Lambo jump in. Lambo gets hit and lands on the green contraption.

I pull out my box weapon and my pair of tonfas comes out. "I'll admit, I'm a sore-looser, meaning the only solution is not losing," I reply.

"Minako-chan!" I hear Tsuna call out.

"Minako, what are you doing?" Onii-san asks. I can't be protected forever, Onii-san. So, I'll do my best when you're in trouble. I continue to attack the lobster without any mercy.

There's an explosion, and I realize that Tsuna was able to reignite his Deathparation Flames. It looks like the others are starting to have the will to reignite their Dethparation flames too. I smile as Onii-san asks, "How long do you intend to aggravate me?" I jump out of the way.

Suddenly, the rockets that the Arcobaleno are attached to start to blow up. I can't help but look up with wide eyes. "Now, hand over the Vongola Rings. Or, would you rather disappear from the world like the others?" the voice asks.

"What?" Tsuna asks.

"I bet they're grateful. I ended their meaningless lives."

"What did you say?"

"Now, what does this world have that holds a greater meaning? Science! Technology! Is there anything that can excite your heart more than those? And that's exactly what the future is! They served no purpose but to deny me my goal. So, I denied them their lives."

"Verde… I won't forgive you for this…"

"Neither will we," Reborn's voice says.

"What?! That voice…"

Reborn and the others appear. "Is this Viper's doing?" the voice over the speakers asks.

"I created that illusion the second I saw that glittering powder," Mammon replies. Mammon looks in my direction as I pull out the box for my Mist raven.

"Minako was kind enough to put up an extra barrier because we couldn't move until Tsuna destroyed that device," Reborn explains.

Tsuna goes over to them and asks, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, it seemed to be weaker than the real non-Tri-ni-set Policy," Reborn says.

"You've done it now, kora!" the blue baby says angrily.

"It's payback time!" Lal Mirch says.

The purple baby declares, "We won't let you get away with this!"

"Let's go," says Fon.

"In that case, I'll be sure to destroy you all this time," the voice replies.

Reborn commands, "Let's go!"

"Yeah!" All the babies start to attack.

Fon comes over to help Onii-san and I. "Exploding Lotus Kempo," he says as he attacks the lobster.

Onii-san glances at Fon, "I didn't ask for help."

"Please accept my apologies," Fon replies. Onii-san, Fon, and I all jump up and attack the lobster. The lobster explodes.

"Let's end this," Tsuna declares.

"It's futile to drag this out any longer," Reborn adds.

The voice laughs. "Futile?" A green baby comes out of the contraption in the water. "What you're doing is futile. Why don't you understand the importance of my research? I can't live a meaningless live, ignoring my own desires. Electric Tunder!"

"What? What?! What is this?!" Lambo exclaims as he runs around. He seems to be okay though.

The green baby explains, "A trump card must be saved for the end."

"Stupid cow, what are you doing?" Gokudera asks.

"Why can he move?" asks Lal Mirch.

"He's the Lighting Guardian, he specializes in electrical shocks," Reborn explains as he struggles a bit to look up. I'll admit that this hurts.

Lambo exclaims, "Lambo-san's mad now!" He starts to throw grenades in a frenzy. The lighting stops and Sawada goes to hit the green baby with his X Burner. As it turns out, it was a robot though. I look around. I'm sure that they'll find the real thing quickly. I lean back and prepare to watch as things unfold from a distance. It's a bit annoying to watch such a big group from up close.

Tsuna finally gets the last two seals and I nod. "Onii-san," I start. He nods and I know what we can head home now.

"Hibari-san! Minako-chan!" Tsuna exclaims as we start to walk home.

"If I'm not going to get to fight the baby, I'm leaving," he replies.

Tsuna says, "U-Uh, please come to Namimori Shrine tomorrow!" Onii-san keeps walking. I glance back at Tsuna and nod to reassure him.

I look at Fon as he jumps over to me. "I'll tell you one day," he says. I realize that he's talking about how Onii-san and I are related to him.

I consider it for a second, but then I smile and shake my head. "It's alright. If Onii-san hasn't told me by now, then he must have his reasons," I reply. I nod. "Until next time, then." I walk a bit faster to catch up with Onii-san.

I look up at the stars from the roof of the school with Onii-san. We're leaving tomorrow. I wonder how long we'll be stuck there again. "You should be careful," I hear Mukuro warn me.

I frown. I don't need you to warn me.

I hear him laugh. "You don't have to be so cold." I don't reply and he says, "Oh well. Just be careful."

I don't feel his presence anymore and I close my eyes. Fine.
