Yes, I realize I left you with an intense chapter. Though, I hope you didn't die from shock when you saw it was actually Mira. (Or was it? O_O) Anyway, xD, enjoy this new chapter of, "A Cold Request".

Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail.

(Back to the shocking scene of Mira)

"I am the murderer." Mira admitted, shocking the whole crowd.

"Mira! Is this the truth?!" Lucy asked, extremely flabbergasted by this sudden truth.

Mira only nodded in reply. Everyone then began to sneak glares at each other, none of them were sure if Mira was telling the truth, or lying to protect her sister from execution.

"Everyone, I'm sure you don't believe my words, but, if you'll allow me to prove it to you, then I will." Mira urged in a pleading voice.

The Fairy Tail members then looked at the executioner, wondering if it was okay. The executioner sighed and decided to just let her talk. After all, her eyes showed no lying expression.

"Thank you very much, executioner." Mira thanked and looked right at him. "May I please start the story at my guild? This story is a very secretive, private matter."

"I guess." The executioner shrugged. "But I WILL immediately have to kill your sister if you or her run away."

"Understood. Everybody, please follow me to the guild." Mira ordered and guided her many guild mates to Fairy Tail.

"The story of Jazzie's murder..will finally unfold." Natsu thought to himself, walking faster due to excitement.

(In the Fairy Tail guild)

The executioner stood by the Fairy Tail door, while the guild members followed Mira to her storage room for drinks. Everyone then walked inside the storage room, and waited for Mira to begin her probably long story.

"Fairy Tail members, I apologize for bluntly admitting the truth so suddenly..though, I hope you'll listen well to my story. This is the story where it all began.." Mira explained, intriguing most of the guild members.

Mira cleared her throat real quick to prepare for the story. She then looked at everyone in the room with a dead-serious face.

"It all started on March 18, 2003, in the Fairy Tail guild.." Mira started explaining.

*~Flashback~*

It was a rather cold day in Fiore, mostly everybody was wearing coats, except for Gray of course, he was wearing swim shorts. Anyway, Mira and Lisanna were casually chatting about random stuff, when Makarov announced that there would be a new member of Fairy Tail.

"Here's the new member, now, tell everyone your name." Makarov urged, nudging the girl to speak.

"H-hi, I'm Jazzie..n-nice to meet y-you all." Jazzie greeted, her cheeks flushed pink with embarrassment.

"Hello~!" Everyone greeted warmly as they got up to see the girl better.

"Hi, I'm Cana, want to see me chug this juice bottle? Cana asked, though was immediately declined.

"Now, Now. Let everyone meet her first." Makarov exclaimed, and everyone circled around the girl to meet her more formally.

"Hello Jazzie, I'm Lisanna." Lisanna greeted with a kind smile which warmed Jazzie's cold heart.

"H-hello.." Jazzie greeted back as she looked down at the ground shyly.

"Yo, my name is Mira, what's up?" Mira asked, her tone slightly tomboyish.

"Hi.." Jazzie greeted silently.

"Hi there!" Elfman waved excitedly. "I'm Elfman, welcome to Fairy Tail."

"T-thank you very m-much, Elfman." Jazzie blushed, causing Elfman to blush in return. "Bingo." Jazzie thought to herself.

"Hiya! M'name's Natsu." Natsu greeted with his signature toothy grin. "I don't mean to brag, buuut, I'm the strongest one here."

"Hah! Don't go telling untrue rumors, Natsu." Erza stifled a laugh after slapping Natsu upside the head.

"Oww!" Natsu whined and looked at Erza with angry filled eyes. "DO YOU WANNA GO!?"

"Anytime, Firebreath!" Erza insulted, grabbing the attention of Mira.

"Ooh! Can I join?" Mira asked, her eyes turning into stars.

"Uhh.." Jazzie hummed, unsure of what to say or do.

"It's okay, Jazzie, they do that all the time." Makarov reassured, easing the confusion of Jazzie. "You can go along and play with Elfman or Cana, they're around your age."

Jazzie nodded and went to play with Elfman. Her plan was going well so far. Elfman seemed to really like her.

"Elfman.." Jazzie called out softly.

"Y-yes!?" Elfman asked, sitting straight up now.

"Can you tell me who the Strausses are?" Jazzie asked, narrowing her eyes at Elfman.

"Actually, I'm a Strauss-." Elfman tried to finish speaking, but was cut off by Jazzie.

"So you're a Strauss.." Jazzie clarified, her lips curving into a smirk. "I thank you for telling me."

"You're welcome.." Elfman blushed slightly as he scratched the back of his head nervously.

"Elfman, I would like it if you went to my house..alone.." Jazzie smiled a pretty smile, making Elfman blush mildly.

"S-sure." Elfman stuttered, shyly shuffling his feet.

"The directions to my house are on this piece of paper." Jazzie explained, her eyes glaring deeply into Elfman's eyes. "Come tonight."

"Okay..?" Elfman agreed, and watched her walk away. "That was..strange.."

(At the Strauss's house)

"Mira!" Elfman called, opening the front door rather quickly.

"Yes?" Mira asked in her usual tomboyish voice.

"I need to talk to you..privately.." Elfman answered with very serious eyes.

"I see.." Mira sighed and talked to Elfman privately in his room.

"You know Jazzie, right?" Elfman asked knowingly.

"Mhmm.." Mira nodded in a bored motion.

"I think she's a spy." Elfman claimed out of the blue, causing Mira to laugh.

"Yeah right, why would you think that?" Mira queried with a few laughs.

"I just do..can I ask for a favor?" Elfman requested, hoping for a "yes".

"I guess." Mira shrugged.

(At Jazzie's house)

"Ah! Hello, Elfman!" Jazzie greeted excitingly after inviting him inside.

"Hello." Elfman greeted back as he walked around the house.

"You look thirsty..do you want a drink?" Jazzie offered.

"No thank you, I'm not thirsty." Elfman declined skeptically

"I see. Well, let's watch some television then." Jazzie suggested as she dropped herself on the right side of the couch.

"Hey Jazzie, where are your parents." Elfman asked, realizing there were no parents in sight.

"Ah yes..they were quite annoying.." Jazzie said with a poker face. "They're not with me.."

"Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-." Elfman frantically apologized, and was instantly forgiven.

"It's fine. But it would ease my heart if you could eat my homemade brownies." Jazzie added with a sly smirk.

"O-of course! I would love to!" Elfman smiled shakily. He still felt really bad about her losing her parents..

"Goody! I'll make them right away!" Jazzie clapped with pure giddiness and rushed to make the brownies.

"Now..let's see what you're up to..supposed spy." Mira thought to herself as she hid inside the air vent.

Jazzie stirred her homemade brownie mix, smirking as she did so. She then grabbed at some bottle with black stuff in it. With further examination by Mira, she noticed the label stamped on the bottle said, "Poison".

"Poison!? How dare she taint those amazing, succulent looking brownies!? Mira thought as she looked closer at what Jazzie was doing.

"..Ohh..there's no time left.." Jazzie exclaimed as she took a quick look at her wall clock. "Elfman, can you come in?"

"Sure!" Elfman called from the other room and rushed to see what Jazzie wanted. "Yes?"

"It seems that I have no time to cook brownies." Jazzie said, her eyes glued to the clock.

"Ohh, that's too bad." Elfman sighed with clear disappointment.

"Though, I have an idea.." Jazzie added, intriguing Elfman.

"What is it?" Elfman asked curiously.

"Just have some of the brownie batter." Jazzie answered suggestively. "I mean, who doesn't like batter?"

"I can have the batter!?" Elfman asked excitedly, running to the bowl of batter.

"Go ahead!" Jazzie insisted, pointing at the bowl empathetically.

"Thanks!" Elfman smiled as he stuck a spoon into the batter.

He then raised the spoon to his mouth, ready to bite into it. Fortunately, he was stopped by his sister. Mira quickly grabbed the spoon out of Elfman's hand, and threw it at the wall.

"Elfman! You can't eat that batter!" Mira shouted, her eyebrows narrowing angrily at Jazzie.

"Why?" Elfman asked, still entranced by the beautiful image of the brownie batter.

"Jazzie poisoned it!" Mira claimed, shocking her brother.

"I would never do such a thing!" Jazzie lied, hoping it would convince Elfman otherwise.

"Yes, you would! Just look!" Mira ordered, picking up the poison bottle to show him. "Look!"

"You can't prove that I used it in the brownies!" Jazzie argued, her hands on her hips.

"Okay then, since you didn't use it for the brownies, why don't you try some? You know..to show Elfman just how GOOD it is." Mira smirked devilishly.

"I'm allergic!" Jazzie spouted, her voice full of nervousness.

"Nice lie.." Mira said sarcastically as she walked towards Jazzie. "But, no matter what, you're going to chow down on this."

"No!" Jazzie yelled, her teeth gritting angrily.

"Eat it!" Mira shouted, about to shove some of the batter in Jazzie's mouth. Fortunately for Jazzie, she gave in.

"Okay! I poisoned it!" Jazzie admitted, crying slightly out of fear for death.

"But why? I thought you liked me.." Elfman asked, his heart aching of betrayal.

"I..pretended.." Jazzie admitted, her eyes glued to the floor.

"Why?! Who would you do something so cruel?!" Mira questioned, her fists clenching in fury for her brother.

"I was ordered by my leader to kill the Strauss whom had a demon inside them." Jazzie explained.

"W-what? But I.." Mira stuttered in confusion.

Mira was the Strauss with the demon in her, so why did this girl go after Elfman?

"So I went to Fairy Tail to find the Strauss..and Elfman said he was a Strauss. So I made my move.." Jazzie finished her explanation. Though, Mira wasn't satisfied.

"You're mistaken, Jazzie. I'm the one with the demon inside me..not my brother." Mira stated, distressing the supposed mistaken girl.

"I don't understand..Elfman said he was a Strauss.." Jazzie remembered, her eyes widening horrifically.

"He is. There are actually three Strauss, and I am the one who has the demon inside them." Mira established, seeing sudden realization in the girl's eyes.

"I see." Jazzie smirked, slowly grabbing a knife out of her pocket. "I was..wrong."

Jazzie then look at Mira with faked, pitiful eyes, hoping to swoon her into a hug. Unfortunately, for Jazzie, Mira didn't feel any pity for the girl. None whatsoever.

"So, you're a murderer who tried to kill my brother, and you want ME to feel bad..for you?!" Mira queried, her teeth grinding in anger.

"I did nothing wrong." Jazzie grinned, hoping to rile up the girl into coming closer.

"You brat!" Mira screamed, her hand readied to punch.

Jazzie laughed evilly as Mira drew closer, and Jazzie held her knife near her own face, knowing that that's where Mira was going to punch her at. She miscalculated..Mira aimed for her stomach; Which made the small girl fall onto the ground. Her knife flew up in the air for a bit, but quickly..went back down..

Drip. Drip. The sound of Jazzie's blood dripping sounded around the coldly silent room. Her blood dripped down her chest where the knife was stabbed into. Mira and Elfman stepped back in horror, realizing that they killed Jazzie.

"Elfman! We need to get out of here!" Mira whispered loudly, but her steps were stopped by a sudden, tight grip on her ankle.

"Wait..hah.." Jazzie halted them, and looked at their worried faces. "I will..hah..die soon...ack! But..hah...I need to..t-tell you..ha..something f-first.."

"Huh!? You're still alive?! Elfman, if we hurry we can save-." Mira tried to suggest, but was interrupted by Jazzie's cracking voice.

"No! Stop..hah..there's no time.." Jazzie admitted the sad truth, her eyes filling with tears. "I was..ahh..threatened..hah..b-by my leader..to kill you.."

"Jazzie.." Mira cried, feeling sad for the poor girl.

"He said..hah..he would..hah..kill my father...hah..if I didn't..gah..kill you.." Jazzie explained, her eyes starting to permanently close.

"Why are you telling us this?!" Mira asked, her lips quivering in utter fear. She knew exactly how Jazzie felt. Losing a parent..is absolutely horrible..

"Because..hah..I want...you to..find him..hah..and kill him.." Jazzie answered, her heart starting to stop its normal beating pattern. "I know..hah..it's selfish, but if you know who..hah..it is..then you'll be safe..ah...from his wrath.."

"His wrath?" Mira repeated, her eyebrow cocking upright.

"He wants..to kill you.." Jazzie said out of the blue. "Please..prepare yourself..hah..and hide from him..hah.."

"Kill me!? Wait, why!?" Mira asked, jumping around in a scared routine.

"I'm sorry..but I don't..hah..know.." Jazzie replied, about to breathe her last breath. "Be safe..hah..good-bye.."

"Wait! Jazzie! Don't die!" Mira begged, shaking the girl's body rather gently.

It was too late..the girl breathed her last breath. It was saddening, seeing a girl that was intentionally evil. She was just threatened. What a sad, scary life..

"What now, sister?" Elfman asked, watching his sister slump down in a crying depression.

Mira..couldn't say a thing.
