"The plan is undeniable." Seth told me. He wanted us to go to Tijuana.

"I'll deny it." I quipped.

"We have my mom's Range Rover and a perfect alibi as I go to this convention every year." Seth explained. I cannot believe that she was letting still drive her car. "We also have my entire life of never doing anything wrong which completely lulls my parents into a false sense of trust."

"Why would you risk it?" I asked him. "Yeah really want to throw all of that away for Summer, wet t-shirts, and body shots? How dumb are you?"

"Is that a rhetorical question?" Seth responded. "You don't get it Sammie, on the last weekend before school, one goes to Tijuana. It's tradition."

"Doesn't sound like it's your tradition." I pointed out. "Plus what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico."

"That's Vegas." I told him. "Do you even know what happens in Mexico?"

"I want to find out." He stated.

"I don't know about lying to your parents." I declared. I did know that letting him go without me would be a worse idea than me going.

"Okay, I can respect that so I will lie to them." Seth replied as I sighed.

"I'm fine with going to Comic-Con." I pointed out to him.

"Comic-Con is a bunch of pathetic virgins ogling some porn star dressed as Catwoman." Seth explained.

"I thought you went every year." I quipped.

"Listen Tijuana's a big town. I'm sure that you won't even see Marissa." He reasoned.

"I don't care about Marissa." I answered.

"Therefore you should have no one problem coming." He explained.

"Well won't she be hanging out with Summer?" I questioned.

"No, because she'll probably be screwing Holly." Seth replied before I glared at him. I still didn't need those images. "Sorry."

"Hey you two, are you excited about Comic-Con?" Sandy asked us as he entered the kitchen. "Seth's been going since he was 10. It's the highlight of his year."

"Highlight is a bit much." Seth declared. "Why are you so dressed up?"

"I've got a meeting with a private law firm today." Sandy answered.

"Are you suing them?" I inquired.

"It's a job interview." Sandy clarified

"Which he'll never take." Kirsten stated as she also entered the kitchen. "They like to flatter him every year."

"I go for the free meal." He added. Was it really that good?

"But you're still gonna be a public defender, aren't you?" I asked in concern.

"After 15 years, he won't sell out." Kirsten assured me.

"It'd have to be a hell of a meal." Sandy quipped. "So how soon are you leaving?"

"That's a good question. When are we leaving, Sammie?" Seth asked me.

"Tomorrow." I answered as I poured some cereal.

"Do you mean mañana?" Seth responded. I wanted to slap my head.

Later that day, I was preparing to go to work when Seth put a sombrero on my head. I immediately took it off. He should be wearing a t-shirt saying we're going to Tijuana.

"You need to learn Español." He stated as he gave me a Spanish phrasebook.

"May I please see a ladies worsted bathing suit?" I said, reading from a random page. "I don't need one of those. What's this?"

"An itinerary." Seth answered.

"It's 12 pages and we're going for two days." I pointed out.

"Well if you're going to get over Marissa, you need activities." He argued.

"I don't need to get over Marissa." I declared. Kaitlin wasn't officially my girlfriend, but I definitely wasn't pining over her sister anymore. I wonder if she would be there.

"Sammie, this is me, hermano, I know you're hurting so I'm here to help." He explained. I'm glad that I didn't tell him about me and Kaitlin. Speaking of which, I met her outside of her house. She gave me a kiss when no one was watching.

"So Seth's making me go to Tijuana with him." I stated.

"My mom's taking me to see my grandma this weekend." She explained. "So do you know anything about emancipation?"

"No." I replied.

"My dad's moving out this weekend and I don't really want to be forced to take a side." She responded. "Marissa doesn't even know. I only know because I overheard him."

"Well your dad does love you." I explained.

"Was I any good?" She asked me. "I mean I've never had sex with anyone before."

"You were great." I told her.

Later at work, Seth was at the bar creeping on Summer who was with Luke and some others.

"Is she looking at me?" He questioned.

"No." I answered.

"She's playing hard to get, trying to pretend like she didn't kiss me." Seth declared.

"Well there were no witnesses. I didn't see it." I pointed out.

"Maybe I'll just have to make magic happen again." He told me. It sounded so gross when he said it like that. At that point, Holly and Marissa walked in.

"Hey, I haven't seen you in a while." I said to her.

"Well the last time I saw you, you had your hands all over my sister." She stated icily. She wasn't getting along with Kaitlin either.

"Coop, get over here." Summer called.

"You should go." I said.

"Suddenly working here isn't so great." Kaitlin remarked after Marissa went to her table. "Can you please serve her because it'll be less awkward?"

Not that long after, I noticed Seth was still being creepy. He was eavesdropping now.

"So it seems that Marissa is not going and Summer needs a ride." Seth declared.

As I was going to the bathroom, I happened to notice Luke flirting with Holly. Bisexual girls can be problems, even though there's nothing wrong with liking guys and girls. For what it was worth, she didn't seem interested.

The next day, we were preparing to go, Sandy were being concerned parents almost to the point of hovering. I think this was the first time Seth was going anywhere on his own. As we stepped outside, we noticed Summer. Seth was quick to get her bags.

"Hey, Summer. I'm Sandy Cohen, Seth's dad. I had no idea you were into comics." The man greeted her. Seth shot a look saying 'Go with it.'

"I'm gonna say bye to Coop. Don't touch my stuff." Summer declared.

"This is going to be awesome." Seth commented.

"She's hot stuff, Son." Sandy whispered.

"And no it's ruined." Seth replied. From what I gathered, Marissa wanted to spend time with Jimmy, but I'm not sure if the feeling was mutual considering that she didn't know. Their family drama was exhausting and I understood why Kaitlin wanted to stay out of it.

A short time later, Summer returned…with Marissa. This was going to be one awkward trip.

"Vamanos, we're going to TJ." Summer declared in excitement.

"Yippee." I stated unenthusiastically as the car began to move.

"We should be there in three hours." Summer said once we were on the road.

"The GPS says three and a half." Seth corrected. I wished my iPod wasn't in my bag.

"That's only for people who drive like old ladies." Summer replied. I had a feeling that comparison was about to become very appropriate.

"I'm going 70 in a 65." Seth declared.

"80 is the new 70." Summer stated. "You just got passed by a van full of nuns. Oh wait, Cohen does."

"Well they have God on their side, Summer." Seth argued. I needed God right now. "I'm not gonna beat Jesus."

"I'm gonna call Holly to see how far ahead of us they are." Summer announced. How did I get in the middle of this? I took a water out of the cooler and offered it to Marissa. Maybe if I talk to her, I won't have hear their bickering.

"No, thanks." Marissa sighed.

"I'll take it." Summer declared. "I'm so dehydrated. What is up with the AC? My hair is frizzing out. I look like Howard Stern?"

"Strangely, I feel like my Jew-fro benefits from this climate." Seth remarked.

"You're Jewish?" Summer asked. Did she really not know that? "God, this is a nightmare. I'm sweating to death driving ten miles an hour listening to this…music."

"Do not insult Death Cab." Seth ordered.

"It's one guitar and a whole lot of complaining." Summer replied. If only she knew the irony of that statement. Kill me now.

"That reminds me of someone else who's doing a whole lot of complaining, Summer: you." Seth told her. "I'm the driver. I choose the speed, I choose the music, and I'm in control."

"Are you a child?" Summer asked. "Even your snacks suck."

"Sammie, Marissa, say goodbye to Summer." Seth declared.

"What are you doing?" Summer questioned.

"Leaving you at the side of the road." Seth answered. He is kidding, right? A fight for the wheel then broke out and it luckily led to us driving off the road instead of into traffic. Unfortunately, the car didn't seem to like it. We had to head to a hotel while it was getting repaired.

"Ew." Summer remarked as she looked at the room. Ew was right.

"This is only for one night until the axle's fixed." Marissa stated.

"This is probably still better than my old place." I commented.

"That's still not a good thing." Summer responded. "I cannot stay here."'

"Well unless you feel like hitchhiking again…" I stated.

"We're lucky that guy stopped for us." Marissa declared.

"Well we'd be luckier if Cole Trickle hadn't driven us off the road." Summer said. Who the hell was that? "Tom Cruise, Days of Thunder?"

"Can we try to be positive here?" Marissa requested.

"I'm positive this is Summer's fault." Seth stated.

"I'm positive that I'm leaving this place with a rash." Summer added. I was positive I wanted to go home before she walked to the bathroom. "Ew, this bathroom is so…ew."

That night, Marissa and I were at the vending machine getting some food while we waited for the pizza.

"So do you want Reese's or Snickers?" I asked.

"I don't care. Pick whatever." Marissa stated.

"Well I don't care either." I replied. I didn't really feel like arguing now.

"I guess we'll starve then." She reasoned.

"Will you ever stop being mad at me?" I asked. "It's not we were together or anything. You chose Holly. Why can't I be with Kaitlin?"

"I'm not mad at you." She declared.

"Right…" I replied.

"You slept with my sister." She pointed out.

"And you slept with your girlfriend." I countered. "We had one date. We were never exclusive."

"I don't care, Samantha. I don't care about candy or that I walked in on you and my sister." She said. I really wanted to go home right now. Too bad it wasn't an option.

"You know this being possessive of me when you're with Holly really isn't cool." I explained. "I'm sorry that it was your sister, but I'd rather be with someone who wants to be with me."

"I did want to be with you." She told me.

"Well you don't now, right?" I responded as I chose Reese's.

"So how about we split up in Mexico and we'll never speak again." She suggested.

"That sounds like a plan to me." I agreed. "By the way, you could have knocked."

"Did you ever consider that I was coming to tell you that I wanted to be the girl that you were with?" She asked.

"Yes, but you were too late." I said. "If you have anything you want to say to me, just say it now."

She said nothing. We walked back to the room together. I really hoped that Summer and Seth wouldn't be having angry sex in there. I opened the door to find them sleeping as I readied the couch. I took my skirt off as I heard Marissa on the phone through her door. I think she was talking to her dad and he was telling her. She came in with tears in her eyes.

"Are you okay?" I asked her in concern. She didn't say anything. "I'm sorry."

"Thanks." She told me before she laid herself down. I guess we needed to get some sleep.

In the morning, I was woken by the sound of the car to find that I was leaning into Marissa.

"Sorry, I guess my body thought you needed comfort." I apologized. "Do you wanna go home?"

"I think I wanna stay here." She replied before she got out of bed. I should probably my skirt on at least. "I'm gonna take a shower."

Now I was confused. How did I wind up in a love triangle with two sisters? I mean if I had to marry one of them, I didn't know who I would pick. Kaitlin was safe and really liked me, but Marissa was kind of exciting and had the potential to be a disaster. What do you choose? I felt like I was in a soap opera. You know I couldn't help but wonder where Seth and Summer were. The way that they're fighting right now, it seems like they would have a very toxic relationship. There was also the fact that Summer seemed to hit on me on more than one occasion. I don't know where she was sexuality wise. She did kiss Seth according to him, which I don't think that he would lie about.

They came back as I was putting the bed up with coffee.

"Where's Coop?" Summer asked.

"Shower." I replied.

"I hope she's wearing shower shoes." She retorted.

"We brought breakfast and the car is fixed. Are you ready to go?" He inquired.

"I'm not sure that we're going." I explained. "Marissa's dad called and told her he's moving out."

A second later, she came out of the shower and Summer gave her a hug.

"Coop, we'll do whatever you wanna do." Summer told her. "But I may make a suggestion, you should have fun. You don't want to be at home. I've been where you are now."

My parents had more of an annulment because my dad was in prison.

"This is our last chance for freedom." Summer added. "We'll be back in school soon and it'll be hell. You need an escape."

"I think Summer's right." I agreed. I never thought that I would say those words together.

"There's a first time for everything." Seth quipped. Summer glared. "Rage blackouts, got it. I'll be in the car."

"Let's go to TJ." Marissa said with a smile.

We eventually wound up in Mexico to see a sign in English saying we could be arrested. We went and checked into a hotel.

"I still don't understand why we needed to get two rooms." Seth stated. "I'm gonna leave my key in case you get lonely."

"Or in case I want to smother your pillow while you're sleeping." Summer quipped.

"So everyone's probably at Boom-Boom." Marissa replied. That is a terrible name for a club.

"Let me just run to pharmacy. You can get whatever you want here. I need to make a pit stop for the stepmonster. I guess she's out of painkillers."

"I need an antihistamine for my allergies." Seth replied.

"You don't have to come with us if you don't want." Marissa replied.

"I'd rather not be alone in Mexico." I explained.

"Well I'm going to find Holly." She pointed out.

"It's still safer for me to be with you." I reminded her.

So that night seemed to be clothing optional at the club. There was a good deal of nudity, mostly from the girls. I wasn't wearing a lot, but I was wearing more than them.

"I love authentic Mexican culture." Seth declared as he looked around. This was probably part that Mexico wanted to forget well that and the drug cartels. We headed to the bar to get some drinks. I hoped that someone would stay with me because I don't want to wake up with some random girl. I decided to go to the dancefloor with Marissa as we tried to find Holly. We found her alright…making out with Luke. This was not a good thing. Marissa looked like a train was heading for her and she couldn't move.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Marissa asked as she grabbed her girlfriend.

"I'm sorry." Holly apologized.

"What that were with him or that you got caught?" Marissa countered.

"You're such a douchebag." Summer scolded Luke.

"I'm not the only guy that she's been with." Luke stated. "She's sleep with anyone, guys or girls. She's a slut."

"Is that true?" Marissa asked Holly in shock. Holly didn't say anything.

"Everyone knows that it is." Luke replied. I decided that I needed to knee him to get him to shut up. Summer went after Holly.

"Her parents are getting divorced you slut." Summer remarked as Seth tried to drag her away. I needed to find Marissa because like I said, being alone was a terrible idea in this city. Holly tried to come with me.

"You need to stay here." I declared.

"She shouldn't be alone here." Holly pointed out.

"Well she surely doesn't want to be with you." I argued. "I'm going to find her. I don't know what's going to happen, but I think it would be best for everyone if you never spoke to her again."

Summer was going to check the hotel and Seth and I were going to check the streets.

"I really hope that she went back to the hotel." I declared. "It seems like it would be really easy to get raped or murdered around here. We need to find her quickly."

"We'll find her." Seth promised.

"Kaitlin is going to be really mad if I don't bring her back with me." I declared.

"So what is the deal with this whole love triangle?" Seth asked me as we began to search for her. Summer sent me a text saying she was at the hotel. Well that was good news.

"Which one?" I asked.

"The one with you and the sisters." Seth clarified.

"I don't know." I responded. "It's so confusing. All I know is I don't want to let either of them go right now. Even when I'm here with Marissa, I want Kaitlin to be here too."

We began to head to the hotel. I think it would be best if we just home right now. A few minutes later, we were at the hotel and saw Summer, just Summer and the look on her face was not a good one.

"Bad news, I lost her." The short brunette declared.

"What?" Seth replied.

"So are the stepmonster's painkillers." Summer added. This was very not good. "Should we split up?"

"No, we need to stay together." I declared. She wasn't answering her phone. I hoped that she wasn't going somewhere to kill herself. I was scared right now. This place reminded me too much of Chino except for the fact that the people seemed to have more money. I was terrified that we would find her dead in an alley somewhere. I was trying my best to keep it together. We should have gone home instead. We began to call her name hoping she would respond.

We did find her in an alley. She wasn't breathing but her heart was still beating. I managed to pick her up.

"We need a doctor." I stated. "She's still alive."

So Sammie needs to figure who she wants, but her immediate concern is Marissa. Also Luke was the instigator of everything. Please don't forget to review.
