Half an hour later, Elisabeth came out of the bedroom with her med bag and closed the door behind her. When she turned around Malcolm noted that she looked satisfied. It comforted him as he held Caleb on his shoulder. The baby was still fussy from his schedule being disrupted or so Malcolm told himself as he didn't want Caleb to be ill as well as Kate.

"So?" Malcolm asked her. Elisabeth placed her bag on the floor by the dining table.

"Alicia was right. She has mastitis, it's nothing fatal. It happens to many new mothers for many reasons ranging from being overstressed and run down to maybe Caleb isn't latching on properly and draining her stores. I've given her a shot of antibiotics only because her fever is pretty high and I'm leaving this bottle of antibiotics, it's to be taken with food. I told Kate and I will tell you now that you should get Kate to nurse as much as possible on the infected side. It'll help clear it up" Elisabeth said.

"Ok, but is it healthy for him?" Malcolm asked.

"To nurse so much?" Elisabeth asked mistaking what he meant by the question.

"No the milk from that side, wouldn't it be infected and make him sick?" Malcolm asked.

"No, it's perfectly safe for him to consume" Elisabeth assured him, he had read the books but hearing Elisabeth and Alicia confirm what he knew was more reassuring.

"Ok, what else do I need to know?" Malcolm asked as he adjusted his hold on Caleb.

"She'll need to rest and drink plenty of fluids and you will have to be the most patient man in the colony especially if Caleb gets fussy" Elisabeth said with a smile as she could see Malcolm was feeling the strain from working long hours and helping Kate and Caleb.

"I'm a very patient person but for right now you'll have to excuse as I want to check on Kate" Malcolm said.

"Here let me have a cuddle with Caleb" Elisabeth offered as Caleb was still fussy, Malcolm handed Caleb into Elisabeth's arms. Caleb started huffing and wiggling which only made woman melted with empathy for the baby.

"Oh I know, you had a stressful wake up call but it's ok" Elisabeth told the baby in a soothing tone as she placed him over her shoulder and rubbed his back with the ease of a very experienced parent. Caleb quietened down for a few brief respite and Malcolm hesitated for a moment thinking he should just take Caleb from Elisabeth but she waved him to go and so he took his leave disappeared into the bedroom closing the door behind him.

"Are you alright?" Elisabeth asked Alicia casually as she rocked and swayed on her feet to soothe Caleb. Alicia who was sitting at the dining table watched for a moment before answering.

"Yeah, just a long day" Alicia said running a hand through her hair.

"I know and it's killing me." Elisabeth said, Alicia gave her an odd look as Elisabeth moved to the table and sat down next to her.

"What's killing you?" Alicia asked.

"Pretending to not know what I know" Elisabeth said giving a sigh like the world was on her shoulders. She adjusted her hold on Caleb and laid him belly down on her forearm with his head resting in her hand while his arms and legs hung around her arm.

"What do you know that you shouldn't know?" Alicia asked as Elisabeth was making no sense whatsoever.

"You and Taylor had a fight and you left him" Elisabeth said, Alicia flinched at the words as it pained her to hear them out loud. Tears burned the back of her eyes and she grimaced.

"No, I- we" Alicia started but Elisabeth placed a hand on top of hers.

"On my way here I saw Taylor is stomping around the main square in the foulest of mood I've ever witnessed him in. Then there's the twins sleeping in the nursery, you smell lemony as the second bathroom and look like you've been crying. I'm not saying this to upset you and none of my business, I know but I want you to know that I'm here if you need me for anything at all. I can even pull out the blunt needles and vinegar next time Taylor cuts himself and needs stitches" Elisabeth told her. Alicia gave a weak laugh, she had barely dealt with what had happened, what she was going to do and all the emotions that rolled with them. And here Elisabeth pieced it together.

"He's not entirely in the wrong, we both made mistakes. But I appreciate the support" Alicia said as she deserved some of the blame. She didn't bother to be polite or calm with him. In fact she had gone from angry and antagonising before she dissolved into an emotional wreck and well she still felt like one but she was good at keeping up a front and she was out of tears for the moment. Something she considered a blessing as she hated crying.

"Well I hope he wakes up to himself and grovels at your feet" Elisabeth told her, Alicia shook her head.

"Taylor does not grovel. I also want it known that Taylor and I are fine. I'm just staying here because I want to help Malcolm and Kate out Ok?" Alicia asked. She didn't want the colony to know her shame, her failure at not being able to reconcile with Taylor. She didn't want to be inundated with every colonist's two cents about her life. It was one of the reasons she hadn't gone to her brother's as she knew he'd pat her on the back when what she needed was space.

"Of course, now I have to go back to the infirmary. I will hand this little man over to you" Elisabeth said, Alicia nodded and got to her feet taking Caleb from her. Alicia cradled him in her arms as he was finally asleep. Elisabeth moved and picked up her med bag moving to the door.

"Tell Malcolm not to be afraid to call me, I'm on duty until 11am. I'll also come by after my shift to check up on you all and for some more cuddles with Caleb" Elisabeth said as she gently touched the top of Caleb's head enjoying the soft texture of his hair before smiling. "He's such a cutie" She said.

"Yeah, he is. Thanks for making a house call and I'll see you in a few hours" Alicia said as she welcomed any and all distractions that could be thrown her way. It meant she wouldn't have to think about herself or Taylor.

"Ok, bye" Elisabeth said as she left the house, Alicia closed the door behind Elisabeth and moved to the kitchen with Caleb and went to fixing herself a cup of tea. The door to the bedroom opened and Malcolm came out.

"Did Elisabeth leave?" he asked.

"Yeah she had to get back to the infirmary. She said to tell you 'don't be afraid to call' and that she'll drop by tomorrow to check up on Kate before her shift. Would you like some tea or coffee?" Alicia asked him.

"No, thank you, I'm good. I'm sorry about disturbing you from cleaning the bathroom to deal with my dramas" Malcolm said as he took a seat at the table and gave a sigh of relief.

"It's ok, unless you're apologising because you wanted me to finish scrubbing" Alicia said mustering a smile.

"No, I don't care about the bathroom." Malcolm said as he came over to her and lifted the sleeping Caleb from her arms. She smiled as he kissed the boy's forehead before cradling him close. She could see he was deeply concerned and worried as it was in his expression and the way he held Caleb with such reverence.

"Don't worry so much Malcolm. We caught it early. Caleb might get a little fussy and Kate will definitely grumble for a few days and then it will be over with. She just needs to relax, something I am not helping by being here" Alicia said with a sigh as she took the kettle off the stove and poured herself a cup of tea.

"That's not true and anyway I don't want you thinking of staying away because I need you here to help me with Kate. I know you aren't in the best shape but we need you" Malcolm told her. She nodded accepting his words but feeling like hell because the 'drama' was over and now she felt like curling up in a ball and crying again.

"She'll be ok" Alicia assured him. She cleared her throat as she felt emotions swell up in her. She moved to the table and sat down opposite him with her tea.

"I know but I'd feel better knowing she wasn't left alone at least until she's better. What I hate about this is that I'd take the time off but everything is a bloody mess and it's like no one in my department can do their jobs properly and I don't want them coming over here with their issues-"

"Malcolm" Alicia said trying to cut him off as she could hear his frustrations and his concern Alicia was going to run out on him and Kate when she wasn't.

"I'm not above getting on my knees and begging" he told her, that statement brought a smile to her lips as she found the idea of Malcolm begging to be amusing not that she would ever want him to.

"I wasn't going to go anywhere" Tonight she added in her head "So relax, last thing we need is for you to go into a tizzy" Alicia told him in a teasing manner.

"Thank you" Malcolm said dryly before he grew serious. "I'm sorry about today with Taylor. I didn't want you hearing my issues with him. I'm sure it didn't help things between you and Taylor-"

"It's alright, I wasn't happy myself but you know I would have found out eventually" Alicia told him.

"Well for what it's worth I hope you two work it out. I know it won't be easy but for what it's worth I do believe you two are a great couple" Malcolm said.

"Yeah I hope we get past it but right now I doubt it. We are two very stubborn and opinionated people" Alicia said, looking away for a moment before turning her attention back to him and taking a sip of tea.

"Well time apart might give you both some perspective" Malcolm said.

"Is that how you feel with Kate and your work?" Alicia asked lightly, Malcolm gave her smile not taking the question the wrong way at all.

"No, I would rather be at home dedicating my time here than at work. You'd think that my schedule was thoroughly cleared when all my research projects were destroy or contaminated in the explosion. But no, now I have to deal with disgruntled scientists as I have limited space and resources. You ever think of going back to work?" Malcolm asked. Alicia blinked as the question came out of nowhere.

"Sometimes but then I have two kids who are under one and I'm out of shape" Alicia told him.

"You don't look it" He said.

"Trust me, I'm not at the level I used to be but with a few months of hard training I could be but I highly doubt Taylor would allow me back onto active duty even if I passed requals" Alicia said, in her opinion her military career was over. The thought depressed her even more as she couldn't believe how she kept failing at everything. It was starting become a skill for her. One she didn't like.

"You hold a medical degree, you could work in the infirmary" Malcolm suggested idly, Alicia tilted her head and looked at him wondering if he was joking or not.

"You offering me a job? Because I don't think Taylor would like that" Alicia said dryly. She was sure he'd dislike it incredibly as it would take time away from looking after the twins.

"I don't care. So until he demotes me, it's my department and I can hire whomever I like." Malcolm said a half shrug.

"Brave" Alicia commented.

"No, not really. Well I'm going to take myself and Caleb to bed. You should think about getting some sleep yourself" Malcolm told her.

"I will after I finish this tea. Night" Alicia told him.

"Night" Malcolm said and he got up from his chair and took himself and Caleb into their bedroom. Alicia gave a sigh and propped her elbows on the table and covered her face with her hands as she wished that she could go home to her own bed and crawl into Taylor's arm and have him accept as he did before everything was completely messed up.

Taylor took a sip of his coffee and tried to cover the grimace on his face as Dr Haynes sashayed her way towards him. He hadn't slept a wink last night and all he could think about was Alicia and what happened last night.

He had made a royal mess of their relationship and he had no idea what he was going to do to fix it. He had spent all of last night trying to brain storm of solutions but came up empty. So out of pure frustration he went on a long run and did his daily workout. After a long shower he sat at the dining table and got on with his plex work.

It was easier to do all the mundane plex work without the distractions of the twins and Alicia but it didn't make time pass quickly if anything it was like time passed at an agonisingly slow pace. Now he was being punished as he found out the truth about his son's death.

Lucas's end was not as gory or horrific as he had expected, nor was it surprising that his son had died a cruel and bitter person. But in the end he lost both his son and now Alicia and his girls too. All because of miscommunication between them. If that wasn't painful this next encounter was well deserved.

"Commander" Haynes said with a warm smile.

"Dr Haynes" He said politely.

"I need to talk to you about an important matter regarding Dr Wallace" She said, He fought the urge to tell her the definition of 'important' as she really understand the concept. He also knew he was in for another complaint from yet another scientist about their research being contaminated, shut down, destroyed. You pick it he had read and listened to them after Malcolm had held a staff meeting. But as leader he felt responsible to hear them out.

"Ok, you have my attention" he said.

"He's been unprofessional, disrespectful, passive aggressive and neglecting his duties. Now, I know we're in a very stressful transition here. The colony is rebuilding after a disaster and he's supposed to be on holidays-"

"Paid Parental Leave" Taylor corrected. "His wife gave birth to his first son" he added as he felt the need to defend Malcolm. They may have their disagreements but Taylor knew the man was not neglecting his duties. Hell, he kept Taylor updated on every major decision he made for his department. So he wasn't surprised there was an uprising in his department. It was one the reasons he didn't like working with civilians. They didn't understand the concept of an order and that decisions were made in the best interests of the majority.

"Yes and as such I understand he's a new father and that role can be rather taxing. But he's shut down more than half the department. He's barely at work as he's tending to his family and honestly I feel it is damaging our department and many scientists' research" She said to him. Taylor couldn't believe the nerve of the woman and her patronizing speech stunned him like she knew what it was like to juggle work and a newborn.

But luckily he was saved from giving her a piece of his mind as Malcolm and Jim walked up to them.

"Dr Wallace, Dr Haynes here was just telling me how your meeting went" Taylor said casually as he folded his arms and looked to Haynes and then Malcolm. Jim stepped to the side and turned away to take a call on his comm. unit.

"I have issues with the unilateral decisions you've been making" Dr Haynes said.

"Dr Haynes, as I said at the meeting this morning. I do not have the resources to help everyone recover their research and begin again. I didn't single anyone out nor did I make the decision lightly. Every person in the department is going to be compensated but it will take time for our department to recover" Malcolm said in a frustrated and exhausted tone as he had been repeating himself all morning.

"I know but-" Haynes started.

"No, you don't because I keep repeating myself and none of you seem to be hearing what I say. I know the past two weeks I've been making unpopular decision but I'm doing the best I can" Malcolm said to Haynes.

"You could reopen the outposts which is what I was just suggesting to Commander Taylor" Dr Haynes said, Taylor rose an eyebrow as he hadn't heard any suggestion from her.

"The outposts have been abandoned for months and what part of 'I do not have the resources' did you not understand?" Malcolm asked her.

"We have equipment stashed in storage containers" Haynes stated.

"Our reserves, which will be needed for when we reopen the main labs when they are rebuilt" Malcolm told her.

"Which is months away" Dr Haynes retorted.

"Dr Haynes, while we appreciate the suggestion. The outposts have been vacated for months. We don't know the condition they are in. They could be nyko nests, ovisaurs might have finished off the nickle cabling not to mention jungle growth" Malcolm said as he didn't see it as a viable option as Taylor didn't have the soldiers to spare to do convoys and he knew none of the scientists would want to go out to the outpost until it was repaired, stocked and sterilised.

"Then send out a party of soldiers and scientists" Haynes said.

"Ok" Taylor said. Malcolm and Haynes both looked to him with shocked expressions. He knew why Malcolm vitoed the idea but he saw it as the perfect escape. He could get out of the colony and Alicia could have the house. They'd both get their space and no one would ever know that they were fighting or that she had walked out on him. He could also use the time to think of a way to get her back.

"Really?" Haynes said surprised.

"Yes, I can wrangle a detail of soldiers but you and whoever joins on this trip will have clean roll up your sleeves and do the hard work of clearing and cleaning the outpost by yourselves. Then once it's up to snuff I'm sure we can organise the basics" Taylor said. He may like the idea of leaving the colony but he and his soldiers were not going to clean up the Outpost for Haynes. They would help clear out any unwanted dinos but cleaning was up to the scientists who were willing to put in the hard work.

"Ah-" Haynes started he could tell she didn't like the idea but Taylor cut her off.

"Glad you on board. I think Outpost 4 is the closest station. Malcolm can you think of 6 people in your department who'd be happy to go OTG?" Taylor asked.

"I can make a list" Malcolm said.

"Good, we'll leave bright and early tomorrow 0500. You'd best get packing Dr Haynes. I don't appreciate tardiness" Taylor said.

"Right, excuse me" Haynes said leaving them lookign incredibly defeated.

"I wanted the equipment in storage for the new labs. Not the outposts" Malcolm said.

"I know but I think it's time we came up with new methods of replacing equipment now we are cut off from the future" Taylor said. He turned to Jim who was now back in the conversation. "Shannon, I'll be taking Guzman with me. You'll have the colony" he told him.

"Ok" Jim said. Taylor looked to Malcolm.

"Malcolm-" Taylor started but Malcolm cut him off.

"I'm not going OTG" Malcolm told him flat out. He folded his arms and ready himself for a fight as he was not going to leave Kate or Caleb.

"No, I didn't expect you to but I will ask that you take a long weekend. Get 8 hours of sleep and a better attitude. I'm not going to put up with further complaints from your department about your conduct" Taylor told him.

"Fine, I consider myself dismissed" Malcolm said throwing his hands up and walked away.

"Hey Evan" Alicia said when she opened the door to find Evan with Olivia.

"Alicia" he said as they exchanged a customary kiss on the cheek and hug before Alicia crouched down to Olivia with her arms. The 2 1/2 year old ran into her with exuberance.

"Lisha" Olivia squealed in delight as Alicia hugged her tightly for a moment before releasing her.

"Awwh, you miss me kiddo?" Alicia asked. Olivia nodded.

"Monkey's crayons are white" Olivia said in an adorable manner.

"Wow" Alicia said looking up at Evan for translation.

"That's jibba jadda for yes, I missed you very much?" He offered. Alicia laughed and stepped back letting them into the house. She closed the door and Evan settled Olivia at the end of dining table with a plastic sheet and colouring pens before he sat down to her left.

"Would you like some coffee?" Alicia asked him.

"Definitely" he said.

"So tell me little brother, why aren't you at work?" she asked him as she poured the coffee and moved to the table placing a cup of coffee in front of him.

"Ah, thanks. Malcolm gave me the day off but I have to work the weekend so he can take two days off. So why aren't you at your house?" Evan asked.

"I'm looking after Kate, she's not well" Alicia said as she found the sippy cup Kate kept in the kitchen for Olivia and filled it with diluted fruit juice before joining them at the table.

"Oh, what's the matter?" Evan asked.

"Fever, could be a cold. It hasn't developed into an identifiable bug yet" Alicia told him as she didn't think Kate would appreciate her telling everyone she had Milk fever.

"You look like you could do with a rest. Are you ok?" Evan asked as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Fine" Alicia lied, she felt tired, sore and completely raw emotionally speaking but she didn't want to discuss it with her brother.

"Taylor still giving you grief?" Evan asked.

"No, he's fine" Alicia said taking a sip of her coffee.

"No, he's a major a-hole-" Evan stopped as the door to Kate and Malcolm's room slid open and Kate came out the bedroom looking completely dishevelled and sleep deprived with her long hair looking like a bird's nest, wearing a bagging t-shirt that ended at the top of her thighs. She had Caleb on one shoulder as she moved to the fridge freezer.

"Ahh my left nipple is on fire and not the good kind of fire" Kate said in a pained voice, completely oblivious to Evan and Olivia at the dining table with Alicia.

"Good to know" Evan quipped. Kate turned around, a blush gracing her cheeks as she pulled an ice pack from the freezer and tossed it on the bench. She wasn't unknown for saying outrageous things but this time it was personal instead of being said for a reaction. That and she was wearing a t-shirt and her knickers. Not exactly the kind of outfit she liked to wear when people were visiting.

"Hey" She said with an awkward smile as she wished she had pants on.

"Evan dropped by with Olivia" Alicia said with an amused smile on her lips.

"Oh cool, I wish you had called ahead so I could be wearing pants when you visited" Kate said as she gently rubbed Caleb's back to burp him.

"Hey you want me to take over?" Evan asked getting up from his chair.

"Uh ok" Kate said, Evan lifted Caleb off her and took him back to the table to burp him. Kate looked to Alicia and pushed a hand through her messy hair not sure of what she was supposed to do as she had focussed on Caleb being priority number one and her brain was fuzzy from feeling ill.

"Kate, why don't you put on some pants and come back with a brush. I'll fix that hair for you" Alicia said, Kate nodded and went back into the bedroom.

"She's really flaked out" Evan said in a low and amused tone as he placed Caleb on the table so he was sitting upright. He supported Caleb's neck and chest with his hand amazed at how small the baby was in his hands for a moment before he started gently rubbing his back to burp him.

"Give her break, she's had a rough 24 hours" Alicia said in a low voice as she wasn't sure Kate could take being teased mercilessly while feeling ill.

"So where are the twins?" Evan asked.

"Down for their midmorning nap in Caleb's nursery" Alicia said.

Olivia who had been colouring in dropped her pens and looked at Caleb who with the help of Evan was sitting up on the table top. He held Caleb up supporting his neck and rubbed his back while Caleb looked around. Olivia looked at him with open curiosity.

"Uh uh he's not for playing" Alicia said stern tone as Olivia had reached out to touch Caleb's foot but was stopped short by Alicia who placed her hand on top of Olivia's smaller hand. "You can look but no touching" Alicia told the little girl who pouted because she was being told 'no'. But Alicia knew that Olivia was too young to play with Caleb as she didn't understand the concept of how fragile newborns were.

Kate returned to the room with brushed hair and she was now dressed in a loose button down shirt and wide leg yoga pants. She had witnessed Olivia reaching to touch her son and felt slight apprehension until Alicia stopped the little girl.

Olivia pouted and picked up her pens and went back to colouring in but did not look happy. Kate sat down next to Alicia and when the woman looked her way she shot her a grateful smile.

"You should be lying down" Alicia told her.

"Mmm soon, I will. So Evan how's life?" Kate asked.

"Good, Sean is at school until 3pm so it's just me and Olivia. How are you? Alicia said you weren't feeling too well. I hope it's nothing contagious" he said not even stopping when Caleb gave a few cute little burps.

"No, it's not contagious. I just overdid it yesterday. You know cooking, cleaning and looking after my little man here" Kate said as Caleb's attention had solely focussed on her since she started talk and so he was now looking right at her.

"He's only got eyes for you" Evan teased as Caleb stared at her.

"Well I have the food" Kate told him.

Half an hour after Evan and Olivia left to go to the park to play, Malcolm came home.

"Malcolm" Alicia said in greeting surprised to see him as she didn't expect him home until dinner. He kicked off his boots and gave her a tired smile. She was sitting on the floor with the twins letting them romp around and expend energy.

"Alicia, how is your morning going?" he asked.

"Good, Kate's snoozing with the baby. She's doing better" She told him as she knew he would be worried and thinking about her. He gave a grateful smile.

"Good, I was worried" he said.

"It'll be a couple more days but she'll be fine." Alicia assured him.

"Appreciated, I'm going to duck in and see how she's doing" Malcolm told her.

"Ok" Alicia said, she watched as Malcolm walked into his and Kate's bedroom and closed the door behind him. She heard him softly greet Kate and felt pain tear at her as she missed when Taylor had been that way with her. She tuned Malcolm and Kate's hushed voices out and focused on the twins pouring her attention at them.

"Hey" Malcolm said softly as he closed the door behind him. A smile on his lips as it wasn't everyday he came home to find his wife half naked in bed. She had a blissfully asleep Caleb lying stomach down on her chest in just his diaper and the sheet draped over them. Kate looked over to him with a sleepy expression.

"Hey" she said.

"How are you feeling?" he asked her.

"Better but my boob hurts" She told him as he moved on the bed and laid down beside her.

"I'd kiss it better but its Caleb's domain" Malcolm told her as he dropped a kiss on her shoulder. Her skin was incredibly warm but not as hot as she had felt last night. She looked as exhausted as he felt.

"Mmm is this why you've been leaving that area alone?" Kate asked him.

"That and I'm afraid of being squirted in the face with 'boob juice' as you like to call it" He joked, Kate smiled as she didn't have the energy to laugh.

"So I guess I won't be getting my boobs massaged by you?" She asked. He smiled widely for a moment before pulling a serious expression.

"Oh well it would be a hardship but I can help you with that" He told her in a mocking serious manner and nodded.

"Not that I'm not happy to see you but I thought you were working today" Kate said.

"Yes, but I decided to take a long weekend" he told her, he kept the truth to himself as she didn't need to know that Taylor told him to take the time off. Frankly he felt it didn't matter as he was happy to be home.

"I'm glad you're here" Kate said to him.

"Me too, now why don't I put Caleb into his cot so you can get some sleep"

"I'd like that" Kate said, Malcolm carefully lifted Caleb up and placed him on the bed, he picked up the light cotton blanket from his cot and swaddled him up before placing him in the cot.

"I'll make lunch for 1pm" he said as he moved back to Kate and placed a kiss on her lips before he was going to leave her to rest but she caught his hand and tugged him back.

"Stay with me" she said.

"Ok, just for a little bit" he said, he laid back down beside her.

A knock sounded at the door and Alicia got up from the floor leaving the twins to answer it. She half hoped that it would be Taylor but they were dashed when she opened the door to find Guzman. She hid her disappointment and plastered on a smile.

"Guzman, this is a surprise" She said.

"I was in the neighbourhood. Thought I'd drop by" he said.

"Really?" She asked him in a sceptical tone.

"No, Taylor sent me to see how you and the twins are. What's going with you two? Because I personally don't like being used as middle man in your marriage" Guzman told her, Alicia pressed her forehead to the side of the door and gave a sigh. Taylor had only asked if he had seen Alicia but she didn't need to know that.

"Trust me I don't want you in my marriage anymore than you do" Alicia told him. She wanted Taylor to come for her, to tell her that every current assumption she had of their marriage and his opinion of her were wrong.

"So where's Kate?" Guzman asked.

"I assume from the lack of noise she and Malcolm are sleeping" Alicia said.

"Hey, you want to go out for lunch?" He asked, as he felt like he was intruding in Malcolm and Kate's space and he knew that when one's marriage was on the rocks the last thing they needed was to be surrounded by happy couples. He remembered feeling that way when his wife passed away. The resentment of wondering why other couples were so lucky. The painful reminders, so he knew for Alicia he could at least take her and the twins out, distract her with some food and wine before he told her that Taylor was going OTG. As he knew the news would not go down well.

"I-" Alicia started.

"We'll take the twins, go to my place." Guzman said as he decided to not take 'no' as an answer.

"You don't have high chairs" Alicia told him making any excuse not to leave.

"I'm only three houses down, I can carry the high chairs. Come on, I've got leftovers" He told her.

"Wow that sounds so enticing. Tell me how is it that you're still single?" Alicia drawled sarcastically.

"Because I'm too particular in my tasted. So come on I'll heat up Tapas and paella, it always tastes better the next day" he told her.

"Fine, let me leave a note for Kate and Malcolm and then we can go" Alicia told him as she let him into the house.
