Chapter 7:
"Hunted and Haunted"
"Those bandits really freaked me out," Zack said.
"Me too," replied Ashley.
"Hey Zack, do you know how much longer this cave goes on for?" I asked
"We should be out in about ten minutes," He replied.
After another five minutes of walking, we sat down to have lunch.
"Does anyone else hear that?" Ashley asked.
"Hear what?" Zack replied
"It sounds like a really quiet cry," Ashley said.
"I do hear it!" Zack exclaimed.
"What do you think it is?" I asked.
"It's a Pokémon of some sort," Zack answered.
"Do you want to go check it out?" Ashley asked
"Sure," I replied.
After awhile we come to a group of Haunter.
"We better get out of here," Zack said.
"Yeah," I agreed.
Just as we were leaving the Haunter saw us, and attacked.
"Run!" Ashley shouted.
BOOOOOM
Two of the Haunter used shadow ball right behind us, leaving a huge crater.
"The exit should be at the end of this path," Zack said as we turned the corner.
We see the exit, but right before we get out, one of the Haunter used shadow ball right above the exit, causing rocks to fall and block it.
"We're trapped!" Ashley shouted.
"Come on out, Aron!" I shouted.
BOOM
Right as Aron came out, another one of the Haunter used psybeam right at him.
"NOOO, Aron!"
Right at that moment the cave got bright. I mean really bright. I didn't know what was happening, but then I figured it out…Aron was evolving. He evolved into Lairon.
"Lairon, use metal claw."
He took out a few Haunter, but there were still a ton left.
"Oh no," Zack said.
When all hope looked lost, all three of us noticed something. The walls were shaking. We then noticed a few orange dots in the wall right by us. Then a Pokémon came out, and not just any Pokémon, it was Regirock. He pushed the boulders out of the way so we could get out.
We were all in awe, but then Zack shouted, "Come on, when need to get out"
All of us then ran out the door and into Cyan town.
