Chapter 11:

"Finishing Touches"

After we all got a good night's sleep, we headed back to the arena. The matches were Peter vs. Ashley, Xan vs. Eliza, Me vs. Barry, and Sal vs. May. Ashley won the first round pretty quickly, and Xan won the next one. The match between me and Barry was long and boring, but I came out the victor. May then won the last match.

"Jigglypuff, I choose you!"
"Shelgon, come on out!"
"Jigglypuff, use hypnosis."
"It won't work. Shelgon, use dragon breath!"
NO, Jigglypuff!"
"AND XAN IS THE WINNER! Next up is Silver vs. May!"
"Combusken, I choose you!"
"Come on out Lairon!"
"Combusken, use flamethrower!"
"Dodge it and use takedown!"
"Combusken!"
"AND SILVER IS THE WINNER!"

"Lairon, I choose you!"
"Come on out Shelgon!"
"You can beat!" Zack and Ashley cheered.
"Shelgon, use dragon breath."
"Dodge it Lairon!"
"Keep using dragon breath."
"Keep dodging it, Lairon!"
I can't keep this up. If I do, the match will go on forever.
"Lairon, use takedown right into his attack!"
"what are you doing?"
BOOOOOM
The beam backfired and exploded right at Shelgon.
"AND SILVER IS THE WINNER!"

"Come on guys," I said, "Let's go rest."
