Chapter 13:
"Rock vs. Water"
After lunch, I headed towards Bronze city. It was about a two hour walk. Once I got into town, I walked around a bit and had supper. After supper, I walked around a bit more, and then went to the nearest hotel and rested up more tomorrow's battle against the gym leader.
After I woke up, I headed towards the gym.
"I'M HERE TO CHALLENGE THE GYM LEADER," I yelled as I busted through the doors.
"Right down that hall," The women by the door said.
When I got to the battlefield, I was expecting a regular room, but instead, it was like a huge cave.
"Welcome challenger," Said the leader. "I am the Bronze city gym leader, Grave."
"Well, Grave, my name is Silver.
"Well then Silver, shall we start the battle?"
"Come on out LOTAD!"
"Ha! I choose you, Donphan!"
"Lotad, use water gun."
"Dodge it Donphan."
"Use water gun again!"
"NO, Donphan!"
"Keep using water gun."
"Donphan!"
"Ha! Is that all you got? I bet your next Pokémon is even weaker!"
"Oh really? Come on out Steelix!"
"Lotad, use water gun again!"
"Dodge it Steelix, and use rock throw!"
"Lotad!"
"HA!"
But then, Lotad became all shiny. Yep, he was evolving!
"Did your Lotad just evolve?!"
"Yup, and now he's a Lombre."
"AHH!"
"Lombre, use water pulse!"
BOOOOOM
"Good job Lombre!"
"Well I guess you deserve this," Grave said as he handed me the Bronze gym badge.
"Thanks," I said.
Then I headed of towards Crimson town.
