I'm kind of excited about this chapter. It's actually different. Piper's going to show up. Uh...yay? Maybe? If you don't like her, don't worry – she only shows up briefly. Mild Drew character development? Maybe? I don't know. Sorry for the long wait, but life, robots, and multiple anxiety attacks.

Drew really hated dreams.

Even when they weren't messages, her dreams were unusual. Once, she had dreamed of Aphrodite and Artemis hugging, both sobbing something about Harry Potter, while sitting in a chocolate version of Artemis's temple on Olympus. Another time, she had dreamed of a monkey sitting on her shoulder as she took a test, occasionally slapping her upside the head.

Drew would have preferred any of her other dreams to the one she was having now.

It began with a memory.

"Drew," Aphrodite murmured. "Now that Silena is gone, you are my eldest child. Honour me. Prove to the world that my descendents are more than just pretty faces. Lead your siblings well."

Drew nodded. "I promise, Mom. None of my siblings will ever be controlled by their emotions again."

Aphrodite frowned, as if that wasn't the answer she wanted. She touched Drew's face lightly. Then her lips curved upwards into a faint, sad, smile. "Goodbye, Drew."

That goodbye sounded very final. Aphrodite turned and vanished into the crowd.

Drew's dream shifted. She saw young woman, who looked remarkably similar to the new girl – Reyna. She was standing, sword in hand. Her voice was quiet, but easily audible. "My people will fight with yours, sister."

The dream shifted again. Now she saw Leo, laughing as a girl smacked him on the arm.

"I told you," the girl insisted, "I didn't steal that car!"

"Oh, yeah, you talked the dealer into lending it to you..."

A chill ran down Drew's spine.

"Really, Piper, do you expect me to believe that?" Leo asked, grinning. The girl – Piper – rolled her eyes at him then sighed.

"Dad says he'll pull me out of here in a couple weeks," she said, changing the subject. Leo's eyes widened in surprise for a moment. Then he forced another grin.

"Hey, that's good, right?" he said. "You've been wanting to get out for ages. Not that I blame you for wanting to stay around yours truly..."

Piper smiled at that. "Yeah, yeah. Don't rub it in."

Leo did a double take. Looking shocked, he managed to say, "Really?"

Piper looked confused. She tilted her head to one side and stared at him. "Did you really not know that? I'd prefer to be hanging out with you here than meet other people anywhere else in the world."

Leo's eyes widened further. Then he managed to regain control of his face, smirking cockily. "I didn't doubt it for a minute."

Piper punched him lightly in the arm, then pulled him into a hug.

Drew's eyes shot open.

Rachel, sitting in front of her with a glass of nectar in hand, looked surprised, then relieved.

"Oh, good," she said. "You're awake. Are you all right?"

"Um, yeah," Drew stammered. "Of course I am. What..."

Rachel sighed. "Do you remember Hera's cabin?"

"Yes," Drew snapped testily. "We went in, you and Annabeth blabbed about Percy, you grabbed me, I passed out."

"Ye-es," Rachel said, drawing the word out hesitantly. "Annabeth and Reyna went to Hypnos' cabin. You were out for a while. Do you remember what I said?"

"Yes," Drew said again. "Enough with all the questions. So Hera's trapped...somewhere, and you have until the solstice to find her, or the world burns. Or something."

"Right," Rachel agreed. "Reyna had a vision, too, a lot like yours. I think, whatever's going on, you two need to work together."

Drew curled her lip. "I'd really rather not."

Drew didn't trust Reyna, and even if she did, she wouldn't want to leave camp. She had a cabin of half siblings she needed to protect. There was a new Aphrodite child coming, one that was emotional and open, the very antithesis of what she was, what she had trained her siblings to be. Drew needed to be at camp when the girl arrived. She was not going to allow some child to ruin everything she had worked for.

"Drew," Rachel started to say. She stopped herself and sighed heavily. She looked out the window at the swarm of kids exiting cabins. "Campfire. Let's go."

Drew fell in line with Mitchell as he walked towards the woods.

"Well?" she asked expectantly. Mitchell managed a weak grin.

"Um...apparently, I'm really transparent."

Drew groaned almost comically. "Is she a threat or is she not?!"

Mitchell hesitated. Then finally – "I don't think so. I don't think she means us any harm. But...she's still not an ordinary demigod. She doesn't belong here. We'll need to keep an eye on her."

Drew nodded. "Parentage?"

"I don't know," he confessed. "I'm tempted to say Athena, but it could be anyone. Hermes, Aphrodite, Apollo."

"Athena," Drew mused. She imagined Reyna and Annabeth, looking evenly into each others' eyes. "Somehow, I doubt it. It could be Hermes or Aphrodite, but I doubt it's Apollo. Call it instinct."

Mitchell nodded slowly. "What about Enyo?"

Drew laughed suddenly, a sharp, surprised sound. "Enyo? Why? What makes you think that she's a daughter of Enyo?"

"Um...A-according to Will, Leo says she's excellent with a knife," he stammered, flushing under Drew's stare. The girl mentally rolled her eyes. "So natural combat skills. Not Ares, not Athena. So who's another war god?"

Drew didn't answer. She walked away from Mitchell, slowing down to allow Annabeth to catch up. "So who is she?"

Annabeth scowled and didn't answer. "Leave it, Drew."

Drew pouted and leaned in closer. "Come on, Annabeth. Now you're keeping secrets? If anyone else were to do that, you'd accuse them of not having the camp's best interests in mind. Reyna doesn't belong here – I think you have to at least tell the other counsellors why."

Annabeth clenched her teeth.

"You will find out," she enunciated. "Just wait."

Drew smirked, then backed off, raising her hands. "All right. But I can't be held responsible for what will happen if you don't tell us soon."

"Duly noted," Annabeth growled. "Don't threaten me."

"Oh, sweetie," Drew said, her smirk deepening. "Threaten you? I would never."

Annabeth glared, then stormed off. Laughing, Drew caught up with her younger half brother.

"So, Mitchell," she said casually. "There is going to be another daughter of Aphrodite coming soon. When she comes, I may or may not be slightly...preoccupied. Meaning it will be on you to explain to her exactly what Aphrodite represents. How we do things around here, and just how in control every one of love's children is."

"What?" Mitchell said, eyes widening in panic. Drew groaned and smacked him once on each side of the head.

"Mitchell!" she exclaimed. "God. Stop. Being. So. Transparent!"

Mitchell nodded. "Okay."

"Now," Drew said, her cheerful smile returning. "Let's go find out who darling Reyna really is, shall we?"
