Koga Will Make A Man Out of You

*Pokemon League*

"This is one big forest for such a small room…" Liteweight the Jumpluff said as the team made their way through the room.

"Halt." A Crobat flew in, its wings flapping endlessly. "Are you those who serve Hank Coro?"

"Y-yes?" Lucius the Steelix guessed.

"Come with me then. My master Koga would speak to you."

"H-how?" Talon the Pidgeot asked. "From my experience, only Hank could ever understand what i said."

"Koga is a special master." The Crobat talked as he led the team through the forest. "He knows how to pick up on certain expressions on your face, and your body languages gives him a thousand words' worth of your thoughts. While he can't necessarily instantly understand you the way your master can, he has enough focus and has trained for enough of a time that he will be able to communicate with you."

"Well, if he's making us talk to him, he'd better just let us through the door and into the next room. I'm worried about Hank." Flint said.

*At Koga*

"Welcome, team number 2 of Hank Coro, to the Indigo Plateau Pokemon League." Koga said with his arms outstretched. "This room, this infamous room is where Hank's first team finally met its end. Since then, it has been remodeled to suit my specialty type, poison, with of course, a touch of bug." Koga motioned to the giant tree next to him. "This tree, young Pidgeot, has been transplanted so that it sits in the exact spot of your father's death." Koga informed Talon. "I keep it there to remind me of your father, and of Hank. I owe him a great debt, which i have longed to repay, and now it seems I may be able to finally see what Hank's pokemon are truly capable of."

"So, what exactly are you getting at?" Powerball the Electrode asked.

"I will train you." Koga said. "I will help you avoid the fate of the past, so that you might not suffer the same destiny as the last team to do so."

"You mean-"

"Yes, Bruno is still part of this body. I know not what his true intentions are, but i do know that he does not hold back against any opponent. If you are to beat him, we will need you to be harder, better, faster, and stronger."

"I think we can handle it, if you just let us through…" Talon said as he tried to fly past Koga.

"Talon." Koga said as he caught Talon with his hands. "Thank you for volunteering." He threw a berry to the top of the giant tree. "Please retrieve the berry."

"No problem, I'll just fly up…" Talon said as he began to fly, but Koga caught him by the leg.

"Not so fast." He handed Talon two Iron Balls tied with ribbons to put one's arms through. "This represents strength, and this, represents discipline. You require both if you will retrieve the berry."

After all the pokemon went, and failed miserably as the music started, Koga scratched his hair and put his palm on his forehead as he turned to Crobat and said "We have a long way to go."

*Later*

"Let's get down to business." Koga sang to my team. "To defeat Bruno…"

"He is so much stronger, than he was, you know." Crobat sang as he helped settle down pointless bickering between my pokemon.

"You're the saddest bunch i've ever met," Koga's Foretress sang as Powerball sparred with him. "But you can bet, before we're through." The Foretress cornered powerball in a corner of the room. "Mr, I'll make a Mon, out of you!"

"Tranquil as a forest!" Koga's Venomoth said as he zoomed through the trees, with Liteweight struggling to keep up. "But on fire, within. Once you find your center, you are sure, to win." The Venomoth sang as he flew so fast that he lapped Liteweight.

"You're a spineless pale, pathetic lot, and you haven't got a clue…" Koga's Muk sang to Lucius the Steelix. "Somehow I'll make a Mon out of you!"

"I'm never gonna catch my breath…" Liteweight sang as he tried to catch his breath

"Say goodbye to those who knew me…" Powerball sang as he tried to hide and find Foretress at the same time

"Boy was i fool, a fool for finding him…" Talon sang, thinking of how easy his life might have been if he hadn't found Hank.

"These guys have me scared to death…" Lucius sang, shivering.

"Hope nothing bad happens to me…" Twinkle sang, shivering with Lucius

"Now I really wish i could delete HMs..." Flint sang in regards to Strength.

"Be a Mon...' Koga's team sang. "You must be swift as a green Sceptile, with all the force of a great Typhoon, with all the strength of a raging Pyroar, mysterious as the dark side of the moon."

"Time is racing toward us, till Mewtwo arrives." Crobat informed Koga.

"Heed my every order, and you might survive…" Koga said as he saw Twinkle not quite keeping up with the rest of the pokemon.

"You're not suited for, A Nuzlocke war," Koga told Twinkle aside from the others. "So pack up, go home, you're through." Koga sang as he turned to leave. "How could I make a Mon out of you?"

"Be a Mon" Koga's pokemon sang as Twinkle worked out the trick with the Iron Balls to reach the berry. "You must be swift as a green Sceptile, with all the force of a great Typhoon, with all the strength of a raging Pyroar, mysterious as the dark side of the moon!" Koga came back to cheers and got pelted with the berry he threw up the tree and saw Twinkle the Starmie in its place.

"Be a Mon." Everyone sang as they continued their training, with the team doing better.

"You must be swift as a green Sceptile, with all the force of a great Typhoon, with all the strength of a raging Pyroar, mysterious as the dark side of the moon!"

"Huah!" The team sang as they each defeated one of Koga's pokemon and the music stopped.

"Well done." Koga said proud as he noticed the growth in my pokemon team. "You may move on to the next room. I still long for the chance to have a legitimate battle with your master, but perhaps that can wait until after you go get him back."

"Thank you Koga…" Flint said as the team headed into Bruno's room.

*Champion's room*

"What the hell is Koga doing?" Lance asked hastily as he got off of his throne and punched the monitor showing a view of Koga's room.

"I told you Koga owed me a favor." I said from inside the cage.

"I don't suppose Bruno owes you any favors as well does he?"

"No…" I replied. "Koga was the only one."

"Alright...So hopefully, Bruno can pull a repeat of what happened the last time you tried to challenge the Indigo League.

"Well, I've been sure to train my pokemon this time." I said. "I'm confident that they can defeat Bruno, or perhaps, they might even recruit him."
