Luigi Rush! Part 7: Forest Drama!
A/N: Get ready for a jump in creativity... storyline from the game you say? PFFFT! THIS IS... PAR-OD-DEE! (Parody, also a parody of the 'THIS IS SPAR-TER!')
^Angel Island^
Knuckles was smashing his way through the forest, his red fur made him stand out like a neon sign but no War Wasp dared attack him, they all knew by now that if they tried to attack they'll end up being eaten... possibly alive, so instead they watched him rampage through the forest like a madman. "SONIC! HEY SONIC! SHOUT OUT IF YOU HEAR ME!" Knuckles yelled, his raging voice the only real noise in the forest. He got no reply thus kept running. "Where could that Hedgehog be?!" Knuckles asked himself while running, he stopped when he saw a huge swarm of War Wasps carrying something blue away. "Damn War Wasps!" Knuckles mumbled and sprinted off...
^About an hour earlier - Egg Fortress^
Eggman stalked the empty halls of the Egg Fortress, for once wanting Blaze for something. "Hey Blaze! Blaze! I have some news!" Eggman yelled hoping the Cat would hear him.
"What is it Eggman?" Blaze asked running through the corridors to reach him.
"Ahhhh Blaze, I have received word from Capel that he has Sonic, who also has two Sol Emeralds with him! Get Egghog to fly you over to Angel Island so you can receive the two Sol Emeralds," Eggman says.
"Okay, where is Egghog?" Blaze asked looking around her for the annoying bot.
"Probably at the docking bay where I told him to stay," Eggman says and the two separated from each other, Eggman went to the Lab and Blaze left for the Docking Bay Hanger 1, having been there for a few days and shown the multiple floored maps Blaze knew her way around the Floating Fortress better then Eggman Nega did.
At the hanger Blaze saw Egghog standing in front of a large red plane with Eggman's face logo printed all over it. "Greetings Cat! Boss said you needed a trip to Angel Island! Climb aboard and we should get there in half an hour!" Egghog says back flipping up into the pilots seat. Blaze jumped up onto and then into the plane like machine. "Welcome aboard the Egg Hawk, I hope you find your stay to be over soon!" Egghog says and activated the shielding around the seating.
"Why is there shields for this thing?" Blaze asked thinking it was a trap.
"You'll see once we take off!" Egghog says evilly, the Egg Hawk took off out of the opened hanger doors and reached full speed in seconds, full speed being the speed Sonic goes without experiencing pain. (Not the speed of sound or light)
^About half an hour later, still around half an before Knuckles goes off searching for Sonic - Angel Island^
The Egg Hawk touched down quietly on the floating island. "Here we are, I'll stay docked here so make sure you return back here once you are ready to leave," Egghog warns.
"Thanks," Blaze says getting out of the Egg Hawk and looking around her.
"Capel is in the forest, take this so he knows you're with Eggy," Egghog says throwing a small badge to Blaze, who pinned it onto her top before running off into the forest, she had been told on the way over who and what Capel is.
Zone 1
Angel Island
Act 1
Forest Outskirts
Blaze ran into the forest, she knew that Capel resided near what was described as a Mossy Temple-like area near the boggiest part of the forest, the area she was in was very dry. Two Wolf like creatures sprinted from Blaze's side and started to give chase, they had grey mattered fur with sharp fangs. (Just your average Wolf) "Go away," Blaze says not knowing that in this dimension animals weren't able to speak proper English and have proper conversations. The first Wolf tried biting her tail but Blaze stopped running to kick it away, while she did this the second Wolf lunged at her, it also was kicked back.
"GRRR" A few Wolves now circled around her, growling together.
"Beat it!" Blaze says throwing a fireball at one, it jumped away in fright and scampered away scared. The others snarled angrily and one of them tried to jump at her, Blaze kicked it away but as she did another Wolf jumped. Blaze ducked and threw some fireballs around her to scare them off. The Wolves growled at the fire but still stayed. Blaze ran passed two Wolves to try getting away, they snapped at her but missed. The pack start chasing her so Blaze tries to climb up a tree, unlucky for Blaze the tree had spikey thorns protruding from the wood, despite the thorns Blaze made it up and stood atop a skinny branch above the forest floor, below the Wolves barked at her. "Leave me alone already!" Blaze yelled at them as she threw some fireballs, they jumped away but still circled the tree. "You'll get hungry eventually!" Blaze warned but the Wolves didn't understand her, or even acknowledge that she spoke.
Blaze stood waiting for the Wolves to grow bored of waiting but they didn't, she didn't know how long she had wasted standing on the tree branch but to her it felt like hours. (It wasn't) "Will you lot just go already!" Blaze yelled and heard a noise, coming from a short distance away. Something burst through some trees getting the Wolves attention, they ran at the thing that Blaze couldn't really see. She heard a loud yelp and saw a Wolf slam painfully into the tree she stood on, the Wolf's neck appeared to be twisted out of place.
"Hey you there!" A voice yelled and Blaze looked at a red furred Echidna. "You shouldn't be here!" The Echidna yelled wiping their bloody gloves on through the tall grass.
"Do you know where I can find Capel?" Blaze asked from the branch.
"Capel? Avn't heard of this Capel, you lost or something?" The Echidna asked.
"You're no use to me," Blaze says jumping from the branch and landing away from the Echidna.
"Hey just wait a second here! I'm in charge of this island so you tell me exactly why you're here!" The Echidna yelled running to Blaze, Blaze turned and made some fireballs in her hands which she held threateningly. "Hah, a wee bit of fire sposta hurt me? Get real rookie treasure hunter, you ain't steel'en my Master Emerald!" The Echidna angrily says.
"Emerald? You know of the Sol Emeralds?" Blaze asked still with fireballs in her hands.
"Not Sol but Chaos... you wouldn't happen to be from another dimension would you? A friend was telling me about some Sol stuff." The Echidna says.
"I am, but do you know where Capel is? I need to find the Sol Emeralds," Blaze says making the fireballs disperse.
"Capel... hmm..." The Echidna mumbled.
"Supposedly he should be around some Mossy Temple," Blaze says.
"That be a dangerous spot, War Wasps hang there, I know where it is so follow me," The Echidna says and ran off, after giving a glance at the dead Wolves Blaze ran after the Echidna. (Who is obviously Knuckles)
^Knuckles' abode^
Luigi and Tails were bored, Knuckles had been gone longer then Tails had expected and all they could do was wait. "What if those War Wasps got Sonic?" Luigi asked. "He's too fast," Tails replied.
"You sure have faith in Sonic's speed," Luigi says as he stood up, his legs were wobbling. (The two had been laying down for ages)
"Where are you going?" Tails asked as Luigi walked to the door and looked down.
"I'm just watching for Knuckles or Sonic," Luigi says and saw a huge swarm of War Wasps fly pass carrying Sonic. "Hey Tails."
"What?"
"Have a look at this..." Luigi says stepping aside for Tails to see.
"They got Sonic! Quickly Luigi do something!" Tails shouts and Luigi threw a fireball at the swarm, it hit one of the War Wasps and they all looked up at him while dropping Sonic. "Why'd you do that Luigi? Now they're mad!" Tails scolded making Luigi look at him in disbelief.
"You told me to do something!" Luigi argued as the War Wasps flew up to the hut's entrance. The Wasps made some sort of roaring noise and Luigi jumped back in fright, he tripped on Tails (still on the ground) and fell backwards onto something painfully sharp. A Wasp flew in and Tails stood up and whacked it away, the Wasp merely flew back and tried to jab Tails with its huge stinger. Tails stepped back and spun around, he began spinning his tails to try pushing the Wasps away with wind but their wings were strong enough to keep them relatively still. One Wasp darted at Tails but a sharp bone stabbed into its tail(?) and stopped the stinger from reaching Tails. The Wasp made a growling sound and looked at Luigi, Luigi stabbed at it again with something white and the sharp War Wasp bone tore into the alive Wasp's eye, killing it within seconds. The War Wasp fell to the ground with green blood spilling out and the other Wasps looked at it.
"Ahh... Luigi..." Tails says looking at the angering Wasps as they realised their comrade was dead.
"Take this!" Luigi yelled throwing the spear like bone at the swarm that was positioned basically in front of him. To Tails' surprise he missed every Wasp and the bone flew out of the hut and implemented itself into the ground.
"Good one Luigi!" Tails rasped as the two backed away from the enraged Wasps. Luigi threw some fire at the Wasps and after a few Wasps caught alight (their fur) they began to try dodging the close range projectiles. Despite their speedy movements Luigi managed to hit with most of the fireballs. A Wasp avoided the fireballs and spat a small stinger at Luigi, it hit and pierced through his clothes painfully. With a small scream of pain Luigi stopped throwing fireballs to pull the tiny stinger out. "Come on Luigi!" Tails says as he pushed Luigi out the window before jumping after him, Luigi screamed as he hit the ground head first and Tails flew down beside him. "Hurry run!" Tails shouts before flying off quickly.
"I thought you said we can't outrun them!" Luigi shouts as he stood up in pain, he looked around for Tails but didn't see him. A loud buzzing comes from behind Luigi and he turns to see the angry mob of Wasps. "Heh he... no ah... hard feelings right?" Luigi asked worriedly. The Wasps, somehow being able to understand him, did something with their mouths to show their spit-able stingers before flying at him. Luigi screamed and hid his face as he crouched down scared.
Luigi looked up and saw that the Wasps were trying to defend themselves against an attacker, said attacker was a blurring blue streak of something them seemed to be spherical shaped. In moments the Wasps were either dead or retreating in pain.
"Hey Luigi! What happened? Did you get attacked by Wasps or something?" Sonic asked as he stopped in front of Luigi.
"Sonic! You're safe! Knuckles left to find you after you didn't come back er... come at all," Luigi says scratching the back of his head/neck. (Very bottom of the head)
"Where's Tails?" Sonic asked looking around, all he saw was Knuckles' hut, a burnt out campfire and some of Knuckles' miscellaneous knickknacks.
"He abandoned me to the Wasps," Luigi says angrily.
"Wouldn't blame him," Sonic says shrugging.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Luigi asked somewhat shocked.
"I meant because the Wasp would catch both of youse if one tried er helping," Sonic says shrugging again.
"Oh okay, sorry." Sonic laughed and grabbed Luigi's right hand,
"Let's go look for em, since Knuckles won't be back till he finds me!" Sonic says and before Luigi could answer what he thought was a question Sonic ran off with him through the forest, dodging trees without slowing down. This like a lot of things Sonic did scared Luigi.
^A lot later^
Sonic and Luigi stopped on a rock that was overlooking the forest from the edge of a tall -and steep- cliff, below them was Knuckles and Blaze as they walked slowly through the forest.
"Hey Luigi, it's Knuckles," Sonic says pointing.
"Let me guess... 'wanna jump'," Luigi says slightly irritated.
"Yep," Sonic says jumping, Luigi followed and the two landed painlessly but somewhat loudly. "Hey Knuckles!" Sonic says stepping towards his old friend, Blaze looked at him and her eyes widened.
"Sonic buddy-" Knuckles starts but a beam of fire burst forward and slammed into Sonic's chest, the beam was so strong it propelled Sonic backwards and into the hard rocks that made the mountain-y cliff. "What'cha do that for!?" Knuckles yelled and Luigi ran to Sonic, who's fur was ablaze.
"HE is my enemy!" Blaze loudly stated as she stomped towards Sonic and Luigi.
"Keep away from him!" Luigi shouted standing in front of his dazed friend.
"Move aside!" Blaze ordered through slanted eyes, her eyes then widened as Knuckles grabbed her and threw her into a nearby tree with enough force to snap it.
"Hands off my friends!" Knuckles yelled and glared at Blaze as she stood up dizzily.
"You traitor," Blaze spat (not literally) as she made fireballs form in her hands, she threw them at Knuckles who punched them. The punch dispersed them but left small embers on his white gloves.
"What is your problem! Attacking Sonic like that! What in the world did he do to you?" Luigi yelled as he stood in front of Sonic still. Blaze made a sort of growling noise before pushing her right palm at Knuckles. A beam of fire blared out and smashed into him, the force sending him spiralling back through the air for a bit before tumbling across the ground in a fiery blaze. Blaze then stalked towards Luigi and Sonic with fire surrounding her fists. She fired out a beam of fire at Luigi but he held his two hands out and blocked the fire with his white gloves, the flames harmlessly being somehow absorbed or dispersed. Blaze looked at Luigi somewhat surprised but yelped in fear as Luigi fired back an exact copy of her beam, except green. Blaze dived out of the way and the beam hit a few trees, the dry wood quickly lit alight.
"Why are you against Sonic?" Luigi asked as he formed two green fireballs defensively.
"He is my enemy!" Blaze says standing up, she then pushed her purple top off from her shoulders and her body was enveloped in flames.
"Painful light..." Sonic mumbled as he tried moving, he however was unsuccessful as he was wedged into the hard rock. Blaze ran forward at Luigi but Knuckles intercepted her with his spikey fists. Blaze was knocked to the ground by the force of the punch but quickly sprang but up.
"Three against one is it?!" Blaze yelled as she glared at her three opponents.
"I would say two against one since Sonic is hardly doing anything," Luigi says while Knuckles charged at Blaze. Blaze jumped aside while showering Knuckles in fire. The fire didn't phase him but he put it out just for safety. Blaze sprinted towards Sonic and Luigi with flames leaping around her body, Luigi made two green fireballs and threw them at her. They hit ineffectively and Blaze held her palms side by side as a huge beam (larger then the others) beamed out at Luigi, despite blocking it with his pyrokinetic powers Luigi was still blasted backwards into the rocks near Sonic. With a growl of satisfaction Blaze walked forward to Sonic, as she reached him a large fist slammed into her back making her fall forward in pain.
"Stay {punches her} away {punches again} from {kicks her as she is on the ground now} SONIC!" Knuckles yells and after he finished he slammed his foot down onto Blaze's back, she coughed out in pain and expected Knuckles to finish her, but he didn't. "So now, explain what'cha got against Sonic!" Knuckles asked as Blaze lay unmoving on the ground. After a while of silence Knuckles spoke again, "Not answering huh, well this should help!" Knuckles says and stomped as hard as he cold into Blaze's back, she screamed loudly and suddenly two spotlights shined onto Knuckles from the sky, he looked up and saw the Egg Hawk in the sky above their area. "Eggman," Knuckles rasps and backflips onto the rocky wall behind him, he climbs up it and jumped off at the height the Egg Hawk was floating at and, somehow by using his dreadlocks, flew across to the Egg Hawk and landed on top of it.
"What's your name, tell me and I may know you. I'm from another dimension like Sonic is," Luigi says to Blaze, she didn't respond so he walked to her. Suddenly she jumped up and kicked Luigi in the face, she landed down near Sonic and glared at him.
"Eggman told me all about you! Now hand over the Sol Emeralds! Give them to me!" Blaze ordered and Sonic looked at her finally out of his daze.
"Who are you?" Sonic asked enraging Blaze.
"You lie! Give back my Sol Emeralds!" Blaze ordered with fire still around her body. (Ever since she took her coat off) Sonic tried to move but felt himself trapped within the rocks. He watched as Luigi dived at Blaze and tackled her to the ground, the two hit with a loud bang?
"SONIC!" Knuckles yells landing near the blue Hedgehog, he smashed the rocks with his fists and pulled Sonic out. "Get your blue butt out'ta ere!" Knuckles yelled quickly as the Egg Hawk started to plummet towards them with fire and smoke bellowing out of it. Sonic nodded and -grabbing Knuckles- ran off into the forest towards Knuckles' home. The Egg Hawk landed with an explosion and the blast decimated mostly everything in a short radius around it... mostly...
A/N: Another short update, I think I should keep them short so I actually keep updating in time... yawn... I shouldn't be up at three in the morning before school but I've finally gotten feedback from someone new about this story. (someone other then 999 the 9th I mean)
