Butch's P.O.V.

I sat in the front row seat staring at the red curtain moodily. Bubbles wouldn't let me go backstage and she said the curtain wouldn't be lifted for another two hours, obviously trying to get me to leave. I was too stubborn. She had been lying of coarse, because after twenty minutes the curtain rised. Thier was a smoky setting with a bunch of girls in long skirts and guys in tuxedoes staring up at the cieling. Bubbles was being lowered from a swing, wearing a black and silver leatard with fishnets and a vieled tophat. There was a splash of glitter before she started to sing.

The French are glad to die for love.

They delight in fighting duels.

But I prefer a man who lives

And gives expensive... jewels!

I gasped as I heard her voice, she sounded like an angel. She jumped down from the swing and started dancing gracefully.

A kiss on the hand

May be quite continental,

But diamonds are a girl's best friend.

A kiss may be grand

But it won't pay the rental

On your humble flat

Or help you feed your, uh, pussy cat.

Men grow cold

As girls grow old,

And we all lose our charms in the end.

But square-cut or pear-shaped,

These rocks don't loose their shape.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Tiffany's!

Cartier!

Because we are living

In a meterial world

And I am a material girl

She blew a kiss at the guy she had just pushed to the ground and said in a husky voice, "Come and get me boys." A group of the men in tuxes started carrying her around the stage.

Black Starr!

Frost Gorm!

Talk to me Harry Ziddler.

Tell me all about it!

There may come a time

When a lass needs a lawyer,

But diamonds are a girl's best friend.

There may come a time

When a hard-boiled employer

Thinks you're awful nice,

A bunch of female dancers skirts raised to from a curtain around Bubbles and Brick who just ran onto the stage. Shit, was I going to hear him sing? That would just be too fucking hilarious! The curtain of skirts were lowered and Bubbles popped up, hair now flowing around her shoulders, wearing a pink courset with gold embroidered studs over her chest and lower stomach along with a ridiculously fluffy feathered pink skirt.

Because that's when those louses

Go back to their spouses.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

As she finished the number, she approached a dark haired boy also in a tux and said in a seductive lilt, "I believe you were expecting me." The boy nodded, mouth wide, "Yes. Yes." "I'm afraid it's ladies choice!" Bubbles called into the crowde. She pointed to the dark haired boy, but he was back talking with the other boys at the table. Bubbles cried out in shock and disbelief before turning to the crowde and pouting. "Satine! Satine Satine! Satine!" The crowde started chanting. Music started up and Bubbles turned back to the boy, "Let's dance." He raised from his seat this time and they started moving in elegant circles toward the dance floor. My eyebrows raised as I saw the racey moves Bubbles was doing to the shuddering boy. This was a school play? Bubbles got back on her swing and it started to raise as she sang.

Diamonds! Diamonds!

Square cut or pear shaped

These rocks won't lose their shape

Diamonds are a girl's best-

The song cut off and Bubbles fell off the swing as Brick shouted, "Noooo!" I flew up to the stage and caught her in midair. She went limp in my arms, looking as if she passed out. "Bubbles? Bubbles! Answer me!" I started shaking her, growing hysterical. She opened her eyes before she giggled, "Its a part of the act, silly." The music teacher ran up to us and clapped excitedly, "Oh that was beautiful! I think we found our Christian!" The boy Bubbles had been dancing with before started glaring hatefully at me. I smirked but shook my head, "No way! I don't do the whole acting thing." "Oh come on. If I can do it, then you can too." Brick said standing a few feet away. I set my jaw, "Nope." The music teacher sent me a very intense look and montoned, "Please?" I hesitated, thinking of Bubbles dancing with that boy again, "Fine!" "So now we have all three of the JoJo brothers in the musical! Marvolous!" Ms. Mills exclaimed. I raised my eyebrow, "Three?" "Three." A smug voice replied. I looked up and saw Boomer smiling manically, "I play the Duke." "The rapist villain... it suits you." I snarled. He shrugged, choosing not to comment. "Ms. Mills! I thought Justin was going to be the Duke!" Bubbles shrieked. Ms. Mills snapped her fingers, "Oh, I forgot to tell you, Justin broke his arm, so he had to back out." "I wonder how that happened." Brick growled, glaring at Boomer. Boomer smiled impishly before walking away.

Bubbles P.O.V.

I walked home with Brick and Butch, even though they both had cars. They had wanted to walk for some strange reason. My feet were killing me and I really didn't feel like it. "Brick, carry me!" I whined. Brick groaned, "Fine." He put me on his shoulders and I giggled, "I feel so tall." Butch chuckled, "You sound like a child." I stuck my tounge out at him, "You're just jealous." He raised an eyebrow, "Of what?" I grinned, "You wanted to carry me." He snorted, "If I wanted to carry you, then I'd be carrying you... Brick, hand her over." Brick tightened his grip on my legs, "I want to hold her." "Don't be so selfish." Butch glowered. Before the argument escalated I put my hand up to silence them, "I have a compromise! Both of you hold me." In the end, I was laying down, my legs in Brick's arms and my torso in Butch's. "How come I have to hold your bottom half?" Brick complained. I winked at him, "Hush up, you know you love my legs." We got to my house, where Buttercup was in the driveway, playing basketball. I hopped down and begged, "Can I play?" "Me too!" Butch and Brick said simultaniously. "Fine, Bitch your on my team." Butch glared at her, but walked over without saying anything.

Brick's P.O.V

The score was Eighteen to Eighteen and I had the ball. Buttercup was blocking me and doing a hell of a good job doing it. I looked over to Bubbles, but Butch was blocking her, while having a quiet conversation. She looked at me and nodded, signaling me to throw it. It didn't seem like the best idea, but I didn't have any other options. I threw the ball and in midair Bubbles looked at Butch, "So try right now." He froze for a second, and a second was all she needed. She grabbed the ball and threw it into the hoop. We won!

Butch's P.O.V.

I was blocking Bubbles and we were talking about what had happened yesterday. "You kissed me back." I reminded her. "Reflexively! And I tried to push you off!" She defended. "After moaning my name." I smirked, chuckling as she blushed lightly. "I was trying to get your attention." She murmured. "You know you want me." I teased. "Its almost cute that you think that." She said tediously. I smirked, "I could prove it to you anytime, anywhere." She giggled, "So try right now." I froze and Brick passed the ball to her, I watched, my feet still firmly planted on the ground, as she made the winning basket. She played me. "But I always win!" Buttercup barked, glaring at me. "I got distracted." I defended, looking at Bubbles with a whole new perspective. "Don't look so surprised. It's insulting." Bubbles pouted. I smirked, not responding. Brick cleared his throat, "Bubbles do you have any more of that ice tea?" "Blech, how can you stand that shit? It's more sugar than tea!" Buttercup complained. Brick grinned at Bubbles, "That's okay. I like sugar." That's when it hit me. Brick liked Bubbles, too.
