2 DAYS LATER

Bubbles P.O.V

I walked on to the set after school, as slowly as I possibly could. Today was the day we rehearsed the scene with me eating dinner with the duke. Too say I was dreading it would be an understatement. I finally approached the door to the theater and opened it quietly. "Bubbles!" Boomer shouted gleefully from the stage, already in his costume. Ms. Miller rushed up to me, "There's my Satine! You are late. late, late! But, no matter! You're outfit is backstage, so start running before I make your understudy go on!" "I don't have an understudy!" I reminded her, rushing to the changing room. I heard her mutter a curse and start ranting to herself about how full of themselves actors were. I laughed and changed into the proper attire for the scene. "Hey Bubbles." I heard Brick say, walking into my stall. I cried out in surprise, and held my shirt against my bare chest. He grinned, "Sorry." I scowled at him, "I'm changing!" He gave me a look, "No duh." I was confused, "Then, why-" He cut me off by pressing his lips against mine. I gasped in surprise and he kissed me harder. I protested for a minute before giving in. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him against me. He lifted me up and pressed me against the wall, as my legs wrapped around his waist. He traced a finger down my spine and I shivered. "Satine! Satine! You needed to be on stage five minutes ago!" Rachel, Ms. Miller's assistant, called. I broke away from Brick, "I'll be right out!" I flushed as Brick continued to look at me hungrily, "I need to get dressed..." He nodded, "I'll see you afterwards." I smiled and nodded. I threw on the rest of the outfit and jogged to the stage as fast as I could in these impossible shoes. "Well its about time!" Ms. Miller barked as I sat down on a chair to the dining room table. "Sorry." I apologized meekly, cringing as Boomer strutted on stage. "Hello there darling." He said, taking his seat from the other end of the table. "AND ACTION!" The scene went on without incident until Boomer placed the diamond necklace on me and his hands trailed down my neck and to my hips where he squeezed lightly. I whimpered as I felt my knees go weak. Boomer chuckled quietly, he knew that was my weak spot. I looked down at Butch, who was under the set's window. Boomer said his lines and ripped the necklace off of me, causing me to fall to the floor. He dragged me to my feet and slowly slid the dress off of me. He took my hair down and threw me on the bed. I crawled back until my back hit the bed frame and Boomer came down on top of me. He pinned my hands down with one of his and stayed on top of me, ignoring Ms. Miller's frantic, "Cut!" Butch and Brick each grabbed one of his arms and threw him to the floor. "Are you okay?" Brick asked. "Do you want me to kill him?" Butch growled, glaring down at his brother. I sat up and looked around, my brain feeling like mush. "Bubbles?" Butch said, wiping a tear away with his thumb. I flinched away from him, "I'm... I'm fine. I'm just-" I cut off, flying unstably out of the room. "Bubbles!" I heard Brick and Butch call after me. It was all too much! Butch touching me every chance he got, Brick kissing me, and Boomer pinning me down, I had all three of the worst possible people to fall for after me. I stopped on the top of Townsville Clock Tower, the highest point in the city, and looked over the edge. I could end all of the madness and heartache right here, just one little jump and there would be no more pain. "Bubbles?" Butch called from about twenty yards away. "Goodbye." I whispered, walking off the edge. "NOOO!" He shouted, agony tinging his voice. I felt the tears slide down my face as I fell, and I could here the wind whipping around me as Butch tried to catch up. "I'm so sorry." I breathed, right before I hit the concrete.
