Butch's P.O.V.
I saw her jump, tears in her eyes as she said goodbye. "NOO!" I shouted, racing after her. She was falling faster and faster and I reached out a hand and I would of been able to catch her if she met her hand with mine. But she didn't want that. She gave me a look that said she had given up completely, "I'm so sorry." Then she hit the concrete. People screamed and rushed over, terrified that the most lovable person in Townsville was now dead. "Back away!" I barked, taking her into my arms. I felt her wrist trying to sense a pulse, or movement, or anything! I felt a light flutter of her heartbeat and flew, full speed to the hospital. "Help! She needs medical attention NOW!" I shouted, putting her on a gurney. Doctors and nurses rushed in when they heard it was a Powerpuff Girl and pulled her into a room. "She's gonna need a transfusion!" "There is some major head trauma!" "She looks like she has a few broken ribs." I heard them all yelling, and it only made me more nervous. "Please don't die." I murmured to myself, my head in my hands. I called Buttercup and she answered, sounding annoyed, "What is it now?" I clenched the phone so hard, I was sure it would break if I didn't get a hold of my self, "Bubbles is in the hospital." "WHAT?!" She screamed. I winced, "She could die." I said bluntly. She hung up and I dialed Brick's number. "Did you find her?" He asked, anxiously. "Yeah. I found her jumping off a building." I told him. He paused, "Is she-" I cut him off, "In the hospital. She... she doesn't look so good." He growled into the phone, "I'm on my way." Buttercup burst in the doors and yelled, "Where the hell is my sister?!" Blossom was right behind her, looking like she had lost all of her self control. She walked up to me and snarled, "WHO THE FUCK DID IT?! YOU TELL ME RIGHT NOW BUTCH JOJO, OR I SWEAR ON MY LIFE I WILL KILL YOU!" I sighed, "I guess you could say, Brick, Boomer, and I did this to her." She grabbed the front of my shirt, "If you so much as laid a finger on her I'm cutting off your head and hanging it on my wall to throw darts at." Well that was graphic... "I didn't hit her. She jumped off a building." I told them. They gasped, "No." I just nodded and Blossom fell to her knees, "Why would she do this?" I ran a hand through my hair, "Because my brothers and I pushed her over the edge. I bet she was thinking about all the stress we've been putting her through, and she just couldn't take it. She was never a strong willed person." Buttercup punched a whole through the wall, tears rolling down her face, "I'm supposed to be strong enough for both of us! Why the hell couldn't she just talk to me?!" I'd never seen Buttercup looking so angry or... broken. "None of us could of seen this coming." Brick said, walking in. I widened my eyes when I saw his expression. He looked at war with himself. "You okay?" I asked reluctantly. He shook his head gravely, "It's completely my fault. I was the one to make her snap, I was just so fucking jealous-" He cut off blinking back moisture. I looked at him, again shocked. Rowdy. Ruff. Boys. Did. Not. Cry. I tensed up when I remorseful nurse walked into the room, "Bubbles Utonium?" We all stood up and the nurse motioned for us to come forward. "Is she... dead?" Blossom whispered. "No, but she has suffered some major head trauma and... well, you should probably come see for yourself." The nurse concluded, leading us to a room in the back. I exchanged a look with my brother before opening the door. "Harold!" Bubbles chirped in the voice she had used on stage. Oh shit. "Get in character." Brick whispered suddenly. "How's my little strawberry?!" He cried rushing up to her bedside. "What?" Buttercup mouthed to me, laughing softly. I motioned for her and Blossom to follow me outside as Brick, excuse me, Harold talked to Satine. "Have any of you ever seen Moulin Rouge?" I asked, deciding that would be the easiest way to explain things. "Yeah." Blossom grimaced. "It's only been Bubbles favorite movie since she was eight." Buttercup said. I almost smiled. "Well our little Bubbles is apparently a drama geek. Guess what the play is this year?" I asked. There faces remained blank. "Moulin Rouge, we know. But what does that have to do with anything?" Blossom snarled, her face turning red with anger. "Easy now fire ball. Bubbles is playing Satine and, well, I guess the jump knocked out her real ID and replaced it with Satine's." I said, trying to put my theory into words. "That's impossible!" Buttercup sputtered. I put my hands up in surrender, "Fine, believe what you will, but if you don't play along with her thinking she's Satine who knows what will happen?" "She'll die. Her body will reject the information and she'll have a fatal heart attack." The nurse said before walking off again. Blossom gulped, "But... she won't recognize us." I thought about it. "Buttercup your name is Nini and you're a can-can dancer. Blossom, your name is Marie and you dress the dancers." "What about you?" Blossom asked, over Buttercups protests. I smirked, "I don't come in yet." I walked off without another word.
Blossom's P.O.V.
'Damn Butch is smart!' I thought in disbelief before Buttercup and I walked into the room. "Who are they Harold?" Bubbles, sorry, Satine asked Brick. "Girl's lost her mind. Can't even remember us." Buttercup nudged me getting into character. My eyes widened slightly but I forced a little smile and put on a slight accent, "It's Marie, darling. You feelin' alright?" Satine smiled and blushed a little, "Marie! Sorry, my head's hurting a little. And... Nini, is that you?" Buttercup grinned and nodded, "It's 'bout time you recognized me." Brick cleared his throat, "Yes well I'm so glad that you both could make it, but our sparkling diamond needs some rest. I'll pick you up in the morning, chickpea." I hid a laugh by coughing. "Good bye!" Satine waved before we walked out. "What the hell are we going to do?!" Buttercup growled at Brick. "Talk to Ms. Mills and tell her anyone not willing to put all of there time towards the play is out. Bubbles needs to feel that she lives at the Moulin Rouge and that she is living just as Satine would." Brick said in his Harold Ziddler voice. "You can stop with the voice now." I said. "No I can't. Both of you must stay in character as well. And don't you dare say you won't! I'm not going to risk Bubbles life just because you got tired of using an accent!" Brick snarled. I exchanged a wide eyed look with Buttercup. "Okay, chill out." I said quietly. He turned a hostile glare on me, "I will not chill out! Your sister just tried to kill herself and you don't even care!" I felt my brain snap as I whirled on Brick. I picked him up by the collar of his shirt and slammed him against a wall. "You listen here you fucking prick!" I hissed, "There is not a thing in this world I care more about than Bubbles! I would kill anything and anyone to keep her safe! Including you! So you better think twice before accusing me of not caring about my sister. You got that ass hole?!" He nodded mutely and I dropped him, regaining my composure. "Let's go." I muttered and we all left the hospital.
