The gravel of the yard crunched under Sammy's feet as he walked towards the Impala looking for Dean, hell anyone could find him even from miles away because of the racket he was making. The sound of leather squeaking filled the garage as Dean scrubbed at a section of the backseat angrily, the white rag no longer white but stained crimson.
"She is doing fine now…if you were wondering" Sam calls out leaning against a workbench whilst watching Dean clean his car.
"That's good to know Sammy, hey you think maybe she could get out here and help me get her blood off babys leather?" he smiled. Sam rolled his eyes and grabbed the cloth from Deans hand.
"Well it's not her fault she was dying Dean, have some compassion."
"Hmph" Dean grumbled, "She awake? We need to find out what happened to her." Sam leaned into the Impala and gently wiped at some blood on the seat belt.
"No she isn't, no one can bounce back that quick from near death."
"Never stopped me" Dean chuckled. Shaking his head Sam threw the cloth back to Dean,
"All clean. Bobby's making some lunch so you should head inside."
"Alright brother lets feast."

Luna woke up slowly, the past hours experiences taking their toll on her body and mind. Sitting up was an effort that she couldn't handle so she carefully propped herself up on an elbow, only to immediately fall down again in shock. Looking around Luna saw red and cream wallpaper, dark wooden flooring and desks and tables stacked with books and smaller cabinets. On one desk was a green old fashioned lamp with the light shining from a horizontal rectangle hood very different from hers at home. But what upset her most was the desk in-front of a real wood burning fireplace because on it were two guns, one a side by side sawed off shotgun and the other a Tauras PT92. Luna knew a lot about guns as her father used to own his own weapons shop in Texas after he left her and her mother in England. She could feel a familiar feeling rise from her chest as she came to the realisation that she seemed to be in Bobby Singers living room. Her breathing became laboured as she fought for control but she was too far gone and nothing could stop her panic attack. She gasped trying to suck in air and as no one was in the room she panicked even more. She assumed someone was in the kitchen from the smell of it and the clanking of metal so she rolled off the sofa and crashed to the floor, not being able to speak wasn't really helping her situation. Still no one noticed as she lay on her back struggling, she began to bang her fist on the floor to grab attention but by now she was getting weaker. Great im going to die from a freaking panic attack, what a way to go. She heard footsteps and looked to her left to see two peoples legs enter the room, then they noticed.
"Crap!" one of them shouted.
"Whats happening?" a deeper voice asked as one of them knelt by her side and grabbed her shoulders pulling her up.
"Hey hey look at me it's going to be okay just look into my eyes and you will be able to breathe again I promise" Sam said whilst rubbing her back with a circular motion. Luna looked into his dark brown eyes and like magic she felt air being drawn steadily into her lungs, the panic leaving her body.
"Thanks" she gasped, unable to tear her eyes away the man's eyes. "Never had such a bad panic attack before" she smiled wearily as she tried to stand.
"Woah you need to be careful" the brown eyed man said scooping her up in his arms and placing her softly back on the sofa. "You were pretty badly injured."
"Yeah" the older man said whilst walking towards her, "Mind telling us exactly how you got stabbed in the middle of nowhere?" Luna wasn't bothered by his tone, she expected it really an she was even less surprised when the other man turned to him with a disapproving glare on his face,
"She just had a panic attack, give her some space to breathe Dean." Suddenly Luna bolted upright with her mouth wide open, gaping at the two, having remembered exactly who they are.
"No way no friggin way!" she cried throwing her arms wide with a grin on her face. Both of them stared at her in shock at her outburst. "You are Sam Winchester!" she shouted pointing at him, then she remembered it was rude to point and lowered her hand. "And you" she turned to Dean, "Are Dean Winchester, Aquarius, likes long walks on the beach, sunset and frisky women."
Dean blinked in surprise then gave her a charming smile, "Yeah well you got the last part right" he winked. Luna chuckled and looked up at Sam who was staring at her intently.
"Who are you?" Dean asked sternly dragging a chair across the floor and sitting near her.
"Uh my name is Lunara Avery but I hate that it's so weird so just call me Luna." Sam sat by her feet, the sofa sinking down as he got comfortable. "I've had the weirdest day of my life…well I'm not sure it's just a day… but im still worn out."
"What happened to you" Sam said as he reached for a mug filled with coffee and offered it to her.
"Oh no thanks Sammy I like my tea…British you know" she smiled.
"Only I call him Sammy" Dean frowned at her.
"Dean please…" Sam sighed.
"Sorry Dean I-everything is bleeding into one and he isn't my brother so I won't call him that" Luna apologised.
"You can call me Sammy if you want" Sam smiled taking her hand and giving it a squeeze before setting it back carefully.
"Oh" she blushed, "Okay…well umm I got home from a date with my boyfriend and…"
"It's all right keep going" Dean encouraged warmly, an unexpected change in Luna's opinion.
"Well…he was acting weird all night, trying to…to feel me up in the restaurant and I didn't like it. So we left early and I said good night to him at my apartment door when he lunged at me, getting real mad because I broke up with him."
"Did he…you know?" Sam asked his teeth grinding together.
"No no no" Luna rambled, "He tried to but I got away and locked myself in my roommates bedroom. But it was dark and long story short I found my dead boyfriend on the bed tied up and covered in blood." Luna felt her eyes sting as she recalled the events her hands trembling. Sam took her hands in his and held them steady as she continued. "I panicked because how could by boyfriend be trying to attack me if he was dead? And I opened the wardrobe to get to my friends weapons when she fell out of the clothes rack…" Luna felt a sob escape her lips which she immediately shrank inwards away from, irrationally embarrassed at her behaviour.
"Im sorry tell us later" Dean said patting her shoulder.
"No!" she cried, shocking Bobby who was watching from the kitchen doorway. "I have to get it out of my head. So anyway he was breaking down the door so I climbed out of the window and onto the ledge outside but there aren't any balconies or railings on the outside and what option did I have you know? So I jumped and hurt my leg when I hit the ground. I ran away and tried to hide but…but he was too fast and he found me. I couldn't escape as I had stupidly ran into a dead end alley." She paused to wipe away the wetness from her face then continued. "He told me he was a Shapeshifter and that Crowley wants me dead, high price on my head apparently, and that Lucifer wants me. He didn't say what for. Then I stabbed him, a red light engulfed me then I was in the middle of nowhere with a knife in my gut."
"If there is a price on your head then no one and I mean no one can know you're here with us" Sam sighed.
"We have enough Demons hunting our ass Sammy, if she comes along she'll be in more danger. Luna you need to get as far away from us as possible and invest in some weapons, holy water-"
"Salt, fire, crosses, pigs blood yeah I get it."
"Hold on a minute" Sam stood up arms crossed defiantly, "We can't leave her on her own! She won't last a week!"
"Thanks for the vote of confidence…" she drawled.
"She is safer with us, might as well have her with us and she can sometimes stay at Bobbys or something."
"I guess we could teach her how to fight" Dean said half heartedly.
"Hey uh guys…right here…" Luna said pointing at herself. Sam turned to look at Luna once again, noticing her skin had gained some colour.
"Can I check your wound?" he asked tentatively.
"Uh ok" Luna nodded biting her lip anxiously, unsure how bad her wound actually was. With careful hands Sam pulled back the flap Bobby had to cut in the dress to get to the wound and pulled back quickly, a look of surprise on his face. Luna looked at him panicked and looked at her wound hastily, gasping at how her wound looked. Dean leant forward and did the same a deep frown on his face,
"Pretty sure wounds don't just heal like that…care to explain Luna?" he asked his eyes darting to the guns on the desk.
"I have no idea how it's like that… "she replied in a dazed tone. "At least im not in danger of dying though" she smiled. Sam smiled slightly and looked at Bobby who shrugged in response.
"Got no clue. I'll dive into the books, see what could explain it."
"Alright, thanks Bobby" the boys said.
"Sam…I'm going to be okay right? I won't suddenly drop dead?" Luna whispered feeling like an open book under his gaze.
"Not if we can help it" he smiled warmly. Luna visibly relaxed and closed her eyes, fatigue taking over her as she drifted to sleep.
Meanwhile Dean pulled Sam aside into the kitchen to grab some soup Bobby had heated up.
"Sammy I don't know how she knows who we are, something is weird about her. Like what was the red light that we saw and she said surrounded her before she was stabbed?"
"I don't know" Sam sighed running a hand through his hair. "Just be sensitive Dean we can't cause her to have another panic attack."
"I know how to be sensitive, I'm just wary of her."
"She isn't the strangest thing we've come across Dean."
"True but she is different somehow…it feels different."
"I know. But our life is far from ordinary. Besides she is resting now so don't disturb her."
"What about her food?"
"She can eat later" Sam replied looking over at her peaceful form, "She needs her rest."
"Yeah she has been through a lot."
"Hey boys come over her for a second" Bobby called from his study. They walked up to him looking at the books open on the desk. "Don't bother looking in there, there isn't a scrap."
"So what do we do? We have no leads or any clue where to go."
"We can't fly out to England."
"Don't really want to…I mean it rains all the time" Dean grimaced.
"Listen you idjits, I called a friend of mine from England and he searched for a Lunara Avery…but there isn't one in England. This girl doesn't exist apparently."
"What? But that's impossible she's right here!" Sam said pointing to her.
"She might be lying."
"No Dean, she isn't lying, I can tell okay."
"What your psychic abilities help with that?" Dean asked with a wink.
"No Dean, can you be serious for just this-"
"Shut up you idjits! You're giving me a headache!" Bobby silenced them. "Now I have your attention, it gets worse."
"Oh didn't expect that" Dean said with a dramatic eye roll.
"As I was saying, I called some more of my hunting pals and they say that the word in the demon grape vine is that every creature from hell wants a piece of her. She is in a lot of danger."
"Son of a bitch" Dean grumbled. Sam looked over at Luna again, watching the steady rise and fall of her chest with a sad expression. Why is she so dangerous to them? He wondered.
