"Hey, Freddumb." Sam greeted, walking into the house.

"Hey, Sam. What'd your mom say?" Freddie asked. Gladys let Pam know that Sam and Freddie were coming home, and she retreated back to her house.

"That she was going to try better next time. If there's a next time." Sam said. "I also stopped by Nevel's haberdashery. Valerie got a job there."

"She would be better off at the original Gibby's." Freddie said. "I'm sure Gib would let her work there despite what she did to us in the past."

"Eh, maybe she doesn't think Gibby would hire her." Sam shrugged.

"Well, Tammy's been doing a lot of cleaning." Freddie said. "I helped her put all the furniture back and she started cleaning the messes."

Tammy walked into the kitchen and smiled. Gladys and Darlene exchanged a glance.

"I think this place looks alright now." Sam said. "Kids, why don't you go watch TV?"

"Thanks, mom." Darlene answered for the three of them. Sam and Freddie had a discussion while their kids were upstairs.

"Have you talked to Carly and Gibby?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, they hitched a ride on a bus and made it back to Bushwell." Freddie informed. "She's pretty much paid off all the money she borrowed from us for her wedding."

"Good. This whole thing was getting awkward." Sam said.

"Was?" Freddie chuckled. "It was awkward from pretty much the beginning. I'm glad it's over, though. We can live normal lives again."

"Valerie gave me this." Sam said.

You, Samantha and Fredward Benson are invited to Nevel Papperman and Rona Burger's wedding

565 Grand Street

Seattle, Washington

11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday July 22, 2028

Freddie noticed an evil glint in Sam's eyes.

"What are you thinking?" Freddie asked knowingly.

"Who says I'm thinking about anything?" Sam asked.

"I know that evil sparkle you get in your eyes." Freddie said.

"Well, maybe I was thinking about 'speaking' during the wedding." Sam grinned.

Freddie's eyes widened when he processed the sentence. "Sam, we can't do that!" He said. "It'll hurt Nevel's feelings!"

"You don't want to do anything bad to him after everything he did to us?" Sam threw her hands in the air. "You're such a wimp."

"W-well, you're doing it, and not me." Freddie said.

"Wasn't I going to do it from the beginning?" Sam asked. "Gosh, Fredward."

Freddie sighed.

A/N: Super short, I know, but we'll get to see how the others react in the next chapter :)
