The next day Emma had gotten released from the hospital, and Snow and David were going to take her home; where everyone they knew was going to be to celebrate her coming home. While Emma had been in the hospital all their friends had volunteered enthusiastically to set up the bedroom in the new house that Snow and David had bought that they had chosen for Emma before she had died. They had all of Emma's belongings boxed up and placed in the empty bedroom.

Regina and Red had gone through Emma clothes to give Snow and David an outfit for Emma to wear when she went home. The room had been finished very fast, for the fact that they had a lot of people all helping to set it up for her arrival. Even Gold had came to help.

Emma hadn't even slept once that night, and seemed fine the next morning she was being released. Regina and Red had shown up at the hospital with a bag that contained the clothes for Emma to wear and a bag from Grannies containing one of Emma's favorite things. A bear claw. They had told Snow and David in the hall about how everyone helped set up Emma's bedroom at their new house for her to go home to, they hugged them with slight tears in their eyes in thanks.

They all went back in the room to Emma who stared at Regina Red with familiarity and confusion. Snow spoke to her wondering if it was okay to leave them with her. Do you remember Regina and Red from yesterday?" Emma nodded at their question relaxing a bit.

"How about they stay with you for a couple of minutes while me and you dad go sign your release papers?" Snow asked hopefully and as soon as she said it, Emma's eyes showed fear. Snow walked over to her and took her hand in her's, trying to calm her fears. "Hey it's okay we will be right back, okay baby" Emma still felt nervous at them leaving, but slowly nodded.

Emma hadn't spoke since yesterday, but showed expressions to let people know what she felt. Regina and Red had stayed in the room showing Emma how to eat the bear claw while Snow and David went and signed the release papers.

When they returned to the room Emma was eating the bear claw with help from Regina and Ruby, she had a look of surprise and curiosity at the taste as she ate the pastry treat. Emma then saw them come in and held out a piece of the bear claw towards Snow who took it with a smile on her face and explained to Emma what it was like a toddler, soon Regina and Red said goodbye to Emma promising to see her later.

Emma laid in the bed staring at them not knowing what to do, Snow and David smiled softly at her. "

"Were going to take you home, but before we do you have to get changed. I'll help you" Emma nodded a bit, she got out from the hospital bed covers with the help of both of them. Snow led Emma to the hospital room bathroom where she helped Emma change into the clothes Regina and Ruby had brought, Emma studied the clothing once it was on her curiously.

Snow watched her as she did so, she then smoothed out Emma's hair away from her face so it didn't cover her eyes. Once Emma was dressed, Snow led her back into the hospital room where David was waiting. He held Emma's jacket in his hand, he couldn't wait to bring her finally home. Emma looked like herself a bit again, David smiled at that seeing his daughter like she usually was again.

David had then helped Emma into her coat, Emma had gotten caught in the sleeves and Snow had to join in helping her put it on. Once Emma had her jacket on Snow zipped it up and wrapped a scarf around her neck making sure she wasn't cold, she made sure Emma was all set before they exited the hospital room to find a nurse waiting in the hallway with a wheel chair.

Snow explained to her why she had to sit in while they wheeled her out, Emma nervously sat in the seat and let the nurse roll her out of the hospital and once in the parking lot David wheeled her to the car. Getting Emma in the car was a small challenge, but a challenge none the less. She only compromised when Snow suggested she sit in the back next to her.

David drove to the house trying to speak to Emma about the house, she listened and stared at the window at everything while Snow held her hand rubbing circles in her palm. Once they arrived David and Snow knew what to expect, they led Emma up the pathway and through the front door.

Once they were inside and the door closed behind them, David turned on the lights and then everyone screamed out scaring Emma causing her to shake and grip Snow hand tightly in fear.

"SURPRISE, WELCOME HOME EMMA!"

Snow coaxed Emma to let go of her hand only so she could rub the side of Emma's arms comforting her and calming her down bringing her close to her. Snow whispered in her ear "It's okay, you safe while me and your dad are here" that was all Emma needed to hear as she slowly guided Emma with David more into the house towards everyone.

They crowded Emma, but kept their distance noticing their friend shaking a bit. When Snow felt Emma was okay she let Emma go, but stayed close to her. Emma looked around at the people and saw that most of the people were the people she met at the hospital, even the man who they told her was her doctor was there.

Emma's friends she didn't remember, but met all shook her hands and some were bold by giving her a hug such as Granny, Regina, Red, and Belle. Most of the people close to Emma had cried while they had hugged her, thank who ever that she was with them again after seeing her so lifeless.

Snow and David then had led her into the living room where the party was mostly at, she was seated on the couch and people started to talk to her telling her stories..memories of her and them and how they knew each other.

Red had told she was her Aunt and seven short men had all huddled around her with smiles; she looked to her 'mom' who encouraged her to speak with them. They introduced themselves as Doc, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Doppey, Happy, and Grumpy and told her that they were her uncles.

Everyone was nice to her and kind, but she felt as if she hadn't seen everyone. Emma noticed a boy watching her sitting on a couch bench with his feet Indian style with a debating look on his face, the last time she saw this boy he was with that man. That's when Emma felt it the same feeling she felt in her heart the other day when she saw that man, she couldn't fight the feeling that she kinda wanted to see him again.

Emma didn't remember anyone there really only from when she met them yesterday, so she went to talk to this boy who was alone just like she felt she was. The boy looked at her noticing her approaching him, figuring out she saw him staring at her so he looked at the wall then the ground quickly.

Emma sat down next to the boy forgetting she couldn't really talk, but for some reason she wanted to try for the boy.

"Wh.." the boy then looked to her in surprise that she talked, then stared at her in confusion. Emma got frustrated and started to talk once more. "name?" then the boy understood, figuring out he should do most of the talking; he really wanted his mom back, but he was told that if he told her then she might get stressed out and the doctors told them not to get Emma stressed out in any way and keep her calm.

"I'm Henry" Henry didn't know what else to say, he spotted his backpack which contained his storybook so he took it out of the bag speaking to her with a friendly smile.

"I want to show you something. This is my storybook, it contains fairy tales. It's pretty cool, your mom gave to me. I was thinking since I've read it all that you should hold onto it for a while, I think right now you need more than I do" Henry smiled as he placed the storybook in Emma's lap.

Emma smiled at him in response thankful that this boy gave him his storybook, Henry then starts to show her the stories in the book and tells her briefly about them; Emma listens the hole time liking the end up talking for the whole party until at the last few minute's a man noticed them and watched the two interact and then when he figured it opportune he approached them.

"I see you met Henry" Emma and Henry's head snap up at the voice, Emma heart then leaps at it when her eyes reach the man.

Emma looked at him curiosity and confusion wondering if she knew him before like everyone else. The man held out his hand to her while he introduced himself. "I'm Neal" Emma finds herself shaking his hand, her hand lingers in his for a minute before she lets go; the man doesn't seem to care if she kept her hand in his too long but seemed to have a ghost of a sad smile on his face before it disappears into his smile he had on before.

David and Snow noticed it was getting late that Emma had gone off on her own, worried they look frantically around the living room until they spot and..Neal.

Neal smiles at her softly as he speaks again "So Emma, do you believe in magic?" Emma gets confused at the question and doesn't know how to answer, she starts to get nervous wanting to answer the question for Neal and that when she hears another voice which fills her with relief.

"Emma there you, are you okay?" David walks over to her stands close to her blocking Neal from her, David knew what the man was trying to do and would only cause Emma stress she couldn't have.

Emma nodded at him her face relaxing a bit at the sight of him. David then turns to Neal with a disapproving saddened look of understanding while speaking. "The party is just ending. Your mom wants you to say goodbye to everyone before they leave" David guides Emma to stand up and then leads her over to Snow where everyone close to Emma besides Neal and Henry were.

They all hug her goodbye with the promise to see her soon, Granny's hand linger on Emma's face holding it as she smiles once more before she let's go with reluctance and help from Red who smiles at her.

Before Henry leaves he gives her a tight hug which she returns, Emma held the book in one hand while Henry explained to Snow and David that he gave the book to Emma. They as well hug Henry goodbye as he leaves with Regina this time. Neal comes up to Emma last and shakes her hand with a smile on his face, before leaving the house leaving Emma with her 'mom' and 'dad'.

Noticing the time David and Snow led Emma upstairs to a bedroom door, they soon opened it and guided her inside turning on the light. The room was very nice, it contained a dresser, a vanity, a desk where a laptop was placed along other desk items, a mirror, bed side tables, a window on the wall with draped white curtains above the medium sized couch, a television, a connecting bathroom, and a queen sized bed with white sheets and covers and lastly above the bed hung the unicorn mobile moving in the light gracefully which made Snow and David catch their throats and unshed tears form in their eyes.

Emma looked around the room noticing every detail in it, noticing the hard work. Emma saw that the walls were colored a light creamy red, and the floors were hardwood flooring.

Snow shoved back her emotions a bit and walked over to Emma speaking. "Let's get you ready for bed, okay" Emma looked at her understanding. Snow went over to the dresser and took out pajamas for her daughter, she then led her daughter into the bathroom connected to the bedroom and helped her change her clothes.

Emma felt comfortable in the pajamas, the felt soft and warm which made her smile softly. Snow told Emma to use the bathroom if she needed to go, Emma didn't really have to go so she walked out with Snow.

David had already pulled back the covers for Emma to get in, he then took over when Snow and Emma emerged from the bathroom. He led her under the covers and into bed smiling softly and warmly at her, knowing this was the first time he was tucking in his little girl to bed. Snow had gone over to the couch in the bedroom and retrieved Emma's baby blanket, she held it out to her girl who took it from her and hugged it to herself instinctively knowing what it was without even remembering.

Emma felt herself relax soothingly as soon as she brought the baby blanket towards herself in a hugging manner. Snow brush back Emma hair with her fingers soothingly, David had reached up and very lightly spun the mobile which finally would serve a purpose to their baby. David had a suspicion that a certain man who walked with a gold cane had set it up there for Emma.

Snow sat on the bed stroking Emma's hair absent minded and started to hum to her, which cause Emma's eyes to droop which hasn't happened at all yet since they had found her.

Emma felt completely safe, warm, and felt a feeling in her heart she knew was love. It soothed her because that was the first thing she remembered feeling which made her no longer scared of waking up in her grave under ground. She felt safe and calm for the first time in a long time, that's when she knew that her 'mom' and 'dad' were completely safe and would protect her no matter what. Then she fell asleep, under her mother's touch and humming.

David had shed a tear watching his wife finally put their child to sleep for the first time, as soon as Emma feel asleep he finally could breathe and so could Snow. Snow caressed Emma's cheeks rubbing her thumb up and down holding Emma's face, when Snow was ready and stopped crying happy and sad tears for what they now had with Emma and for what they lost she kissed her baby girl on the head whispering. "Good night baby"

She backed away from Emma a bit to let her husband say good night as well. "Good night baby girl, Daddy and mommy love you" he kissed her on forehead as well as she slept. David then made sure she was correctly tucked in before back away a bit from the bed.

He looked to his wife without a saying a word for his and her expression was enough for them join their hands and walk to the door together, David had let go Snow hand in the hallway for a bit as he paused waiting for her.

Snow closed the door most of the way, but left it opening knowing that's how Emma liked it. She then shut the light of gently and then joined her hand with her husband going to their bedroom together to sleep knowing.

Their baby girl was finally home, and she safe so long she was with them.
