Pete's World:

"Name?" A bored man twiddled his pen in between his middle and index finger, glancing up at the person bound and tied in front of him to a tree.

"I've told you," Cam spat back, still struggling with the handcuffs and cutting his wrists more and more in the process. "Cameron Burns."

"Yeah, sorry," the man with the pen murmured, "I forgot. Okay, yeah, throw Cameron into this universe's HQ with that other bloke we found. Tell me, Cameron, you ever heard of a man called the Master?"

His eyes widened and he stopped struggling. "Yes, I've heard of him. Are you taking me to him?"

"He'll be your cell mate. I've got a feeling you two will be comfortable together. As for this..." The man raised Cameron's Egg and stared at it, curiously. "What does it do? How do I open it?"

"Only I can open it," Cameron replied truthfully. "And I won't, so just give it here, it's harmless."

Scoffing, the officer waved his hand and Cameron was taken away. He didn't get the Egg, and was shoved into a car and driven off somewhere blindfolded.

The car ride was unbelievably painful. He had been set in the very trunk of the car and could feel it's bouncing up and down as it drove on the rocky road that led to nowhere. His senses were sharpened since he was blindfolded and gagged, so he tried to listen to what the men in front of him were saying and could hear nothing. Eventually, after what felt like days, the man who had interrogated him approached him with a mischievous smile and a needle, digging it into him and bringing on a sleepy and drowsy feeling.

When he woke up it felt like he was at an amusement park, his head banging and laughter escaping his mouth for no reason in particular. Cameron tried to sit up and fell back down on the back of his head, wincing at the sound his skull made when it hit the floor. "Hello?" he mumbled, turning on his side and curling up in a ball."

A familiar blonde man stood over him, extending his hand. "Well if it isn't Cammy."

"Don't call me Cammy," he muttered, rubbing his eyes. "Master?"

"The one and only," the Master affirmed, helping Cameron up and patting him on the back. "Congratulations, we've both been kidnapped by the Shadow Proclamation."

Cam rolled his eyes, "I was supposed to find you, not the Shadow Proclamation. Julie was supposed to find the Shadow Proclamation." He glanced down at himself and noticed he was wearing a white bathrobe with nothing underneath. "And why am I wearing a white robe?"

"It's the Shadow Proclamation's way of having fun," the Time Lord explained. "That and beating people bloody until they do what they want. Though they haven't touched me yet. I guess I'm just too pretty."

His words emitted a laugh from Cameron which quickly turned into a violet cough. "God, what did they give me? I feel like crap."

"Not sure," the Master mumbled. "I'd normally be able to tell, but I'm exhausted too. Where is Julie? Is he going to rescue us?"

"Well, the last time I checked he was eating Cheez-Its at Rose's house. But as soon as he figures out I'm missing he'll come looking for me. And, well, I suppose I completed my goal... I found you."

"Yes, you found me, good job. And you got kidnapped in the process, have I mentioned?" The Master walked away from him and towards the shining gray bars of their prison.

As Cameron examined his surroundings, he was at least thankful that the Shadow Proclamation had had the decency to throw them in a relatively nice cell. At least, nice compared to some of the cells he had been thrown into.

The ground was made of granite, and it was easy to tell it was cleaned often. There was one window on the far wall that had a stunning view of an empty beach and ocean in the distance, and the bars were sleek and polished. There was another cell across from them in the hallway, however it was empty. A tiny light was on the ceiling and a single, small, white bed with red sheets was next to him. A toilet was in the corner and there was no water or food in the cell.

"Only one bed?" The Master rolled his eyes. "What do they expect us to do with that? I'm not snuggling up with you, Cammy."

Cameron chose to ignore this comment. "How long have you been here?"

"Oh, maybe an hour. Give or take a week. I really, truly have no idea. I've been on drugs the entire time, right up until you arrived. My head is still a bit fuzzy... I'm not sure what they want with you, though. You're an innocent human, aren't you? Haven't raped any woman or killed any men, right?"

He nodded quickly in reply before sitting down on the bed, burying his face in his hands. "No, I haven't. I'm sure I'm only hear because of you. Last I remember before I was tied up is I was in Austria, looking for you."

"So we're in Austria, then? Interesting, I like Austria. It's a nice place. I think I set fire to it once," the Master mused, a smirk growing on his face as if this was a happy memory.

"I'm sure you have."

"Has Rose found the TARDIS?"

Cameron shrugged, "I'm honestly not sure. I wasn't updated too much on it. Finn did tell me he found something, though. If she has found the TARDIS, does that mean that she can get us out of here?"

"If she knows where we are... The TARDIS will definitely be able to detect me, and obviously if she finds me she'll find you. However, er, I feel she might be a little... Reluctant to find me." The Master scratched his neck and turned his eyes away.

"And why is that?"

"There was an incident. The Doctor was there, and, well, the TARDIS is pretty loyal to the Doctor. Let's just say me and him never got along too well."

The human readjusted himself until he was laying on the bed, arms folded across his chest as he kicked the wall lightly. "What's the Doctor like? Are he and Rose in a... Well, you know. Relationship?"

The Master laughed, "The Doctor is the most annoying man I've ever had the displeasure of knowing. He's extremely eccentric and lighthearted, usually, anyways. Did I mention annoying?"

"Yes, you did, actually."

"He's not in a real relationship with Rose, as far as I could tell. Far too stupid for that. I mean, obviously, he loves her, and for some crazy, idiotic reason she loves him, but neither of them have done anything about it. I can only guess from what I've learned in the past few days." The Master turned and noticed the upset look that had grown on Cameron's face. "Why, do you like her? God, I feel like a school boy in some drama show."

"I suppose. A bit. But if she's with the Doctor, I'll respect that completely, of course." Cameron rolled onto his side so the Master couldn't see him.

The Time Lord nodded. "Maybe you're not as stupid as I thought, Cammy."

"It's Cameron."

"Sure it is."
