A/N: Hi guys, happy Tuesday. Oh, wait, I missed Tuesday so it's Saturday. Sorry about that. This chapter is a bit of a pull-together plotty one so sorry if it's not the most entertaining. For this chapter I said I'd do a summary soooo... (It'll probably be super long because I'm awful at writing short things.) If you don't care about the summaries then just skip all this until you see the break (the line).
Here's the summary for Chapters 1-11 which I posted a while ago:
The Doctor left Rose in 'Pete's World' a.k.a. a parallel world since he said he couldn't travel back there for her. Both of her parents, Pete and Jackie Tyler, live there with her, and she quickly becomes depressed because of the Doctor's absence. Soon she accepts a job at Torchwood, an institute that fights aliens that leak through the Rift, a crack between dimensions. At Torchwood she meets Cameron and Finn who are members of her team, along with Violet who is her quiet and mysterious team leader. Also, Rose discovers a brown package on her bed containing a single rose. On the outside of the package is her name written in Gallifreyan, a language only known by the Time-Lords. She suspects that the Doctor is leaving these flowers and continues her job at Torchwood while getting a mysterious flower a day. Her mother, Jackie, suggests they set up a camera to see how the package gets there, and when Jackie checks the footage she sees that the flowers appear with a flash of blue light. Rose doesn't see what was on the camera because she's busy at Torchwood, since there was a strange jump in rift activity. On the way to the source of the rift activity, she has triggered panic attacks because of things that Finn and Cameron say that remind her of the Doctor, like 'Allons-y' and 'I call her sexy.' When she and her team finally investigate the activity, she discovers the Master, an insane Time-Lord who is out searching for the Doctor as well. The Doctor and the Master are revealed to have a very strange relationship, in which the Master hates him yet looks for him because he is worried sick about the Doctor's welfare. Soon they find that another man also entered Pete's World, an officer from the Shadow Proclamation sent to hunt down the Master. The officer, Julie, has a note from the Doctor but can't translate it since it's written in Gallifreyan. The Master translates the bits and pieces from the note and informs them that the Doctor is gone and left Rose for her own good. However, pieces are missing from the note such as the Doctor's location, which is in the letter attachment. The Doctor begs the Master and Rose not to come looking for him unless there is a major emergency, though as soon as they find the missing location they plan to find him anyways.
Nowww here's the summary of Chapters 12-19. Again, skip it if you don't care.
Julie, the Master, Cameron, Finn, and Rose all stay in her house for a little while. Rose tells Jackie everything that happened and Jackie gives her sympathy. Then, Julie realizes that the Master is missing from the house and left them all. It's revealed that Julie is not a real Shadow Proclamation officer and instead he is a rookie in training, and if he had brought back the Master alive he would have been promoted, so he's disappointed that the Master disappeared. Cameron finds a note from the Master explaining that he's going to start looking for the Doctor's letter attachment, which will show where the Doctor is located. Rose decides she needs to organize what they're doing and make a game plan, so she assigns everyone in the crew to a certain task. Finn is assigned to finding the TARDIS, Julie is assigned to finding any other Shadow Proclamation officers who may be in Pete's World, Cameron is assigned to search for the Master, and Rose will search for the letter attachment. The team splits up and soon Rose has found what she suspects to be the letter attachment in a sewer and hands it over to Torchwood so they can clean it carefully and read what it says. Then, Finn finds the TARDIS buried deep underground in Scotland. Rose decides she wants to go down in the large hole to get the TARDIS from the wreckage, and the mysterious Violet offers to go along with her. In the end of this chapter the Doctor is revealed to have gone completely insane and is shooting people in cold blood like a lunatic. The story switches to the Master's view momentarily and it shows that he has been kidnapped by some Shadow Proclamation officers who want him for his many, many crimes. Finn shares his thoughts about Violet to Rose, revealing that he thinks she's hiding something. Rose and Violet go down into the hole where the TARDIS is and they find the police box underneath a boulder. At first, Violet tries to crawl under, but she ends up being crushed by the boulder. Surprisingly, Violet begins regenerating and turns into a new woman. Rose is shocked by this and the TARDIS is now free, so Rose takes Violet inside there and questions her. Violet reveals that Rose is her mother, but does not say who her father is. She's also a Time Lady and (sort-of) knows how to fly the TARDIS. Finn enters the TARDIS and is surprised to see Violet's regeneration. Then, the story goes back to the Doctor's point of view, and it shows one of his few diary entries, where he complains about his life and how he still cannot say Rose's name because it hurts too much. It also says that he is still shooting people in cold blood. The following chapter (19) switches point of views and goes over to Finn, who was kidnapped by the Shadow Proclamation in Austria for reasons unknown and thrown into a cell with the Master. Also, at the end of this chapter, Cameron admits that he has feelings for Rose.
So all in all: The Master and Cameron have been kidnapped by the Shadow Proclamation. Rose, Finn, and the newly-regenerated Violet are in the TARDIS, safe and sound. And God knows where the Doctor is.
Phew, now that that's written, let's continue.
"You both are insane," Finn said accusingly towards Rose and Violet. "Changing your body isn't possible! You're not Violet. There's no way."
Rose sighed and knelt in front of him as he sat on the jump seat, "I told you about regeneration even before this happened to Violet. I went through it with the Doctor. It's really, truly her. I saw it happen."
Finn shook his head and buried it in his hands, "Just give me ten minutes. And get me out of this 'infinite' ship. Now. Please."
Violet shrugged and grabbed his hand, leading him to the police box doors where he walked out onto the green grass. Torchwood officers were staring at them curiously and Violet slammed the door as soon as Finn was gone. "Okay, Rose, now that he's gone, what do we do? Want to go on an adventure? I think I can fly us to a planet if you want. I mean, I'm not sure I'll be able to pick which planet we land on, but it won't be Earth. Sound like a plan?"
Rose shook her head, "I have to find the Doctor. We've got the TARDIS now, yeah? It can't be too hard. Cameron and Julie may have found the Master, so we have to go to them. Julie is at my flat, can you fly us there?"
The red-head frowned at the console, "I can definitely try. Er... Yeah, I think I can. I'm better than flying through space rather than time, so if I just don't touch any time buttons and only the spacey ones... Er..." She rested her hand on a button on the console and sparks flew up. "Ow! Okay, wrong button. I think it's this one."
Violet pushed another button and grinned as the TARDIS lurched a little to the side. "Yeah, now I'm getting it! To Rose's flat! Come on, sexy!"
Rose froze. "You call the TARDIS sexy?"
"I guess I just kind of picked it up. But..." Violet's eyes widened a little at the expression on Rose's face. "Are you all right, Rose?"
The blonde woman nodded and sat down on the jump seat, "I'm fine. Just keep flying. Don't say that, though, please."
Shrugging, Violet continued to fly the TARDIS until it stopped moving with a groan. She walked up to the doors with a proud smile on her face, gesturing for Rose to open them. What she saw was not what she had expected. They were in the middle of the sky, a beautiful white cloud floating peacefully far away from them and the sun closer to Rose's eyes than she'd ever seen it before. Rose turned to Violet and raised an eyebrow, to which the girl only shrugged.
"I think I got the y coordinate wrong. We're a bit high up, aren't we? Your house is down there... Er... Okay, this is simple, I'll just turn the gravity off!" Violet bounced over to the console and began typing things in.
"Wait," Rose said quickly, putting her hand on Violet's wrist to stop her. "You can't just turn off the gravity! We'll fall onto my flat! We could hurt someone!"
"Nah, that's a very low chance," Violet mumbled, but the young girl didn't look convinced.
With a small flick of her wrist the entire TARDIS lurched downward and they fell to the ground screaming. The lights inside flashed on and off and on again while the doors flapped wide open in the wind. Violet scrambled over to them and slammed them shut before bracing for impact by covering her head with her hands. A loud crash indicated that they had landed, and Rose was the first one to stand up.
She held onto the console for balance before stumbling over to the doors and yanking them open to see they had made a nice indent in the middle of the cement outside Rose's flat. "Well, we made it!" the pilot said proudly, trying to stand up.
Rose rolled her eyes and rested her hands on her hips. "Violet, I've never flown the TARDIS in my life, and even I know that it wasn't a good idea to turn off the gravity! We could've died! We could've hurt somebody!"
The girl looked genuinely hurt at her words, "All I wanted was to get you home safe. I'm sorry, Mummy."
"I'm not your Mummy," Rose snapped in return, glaring down at her future daughter's wide, innocent eyes. "Don't call me that."
Violet's hands dropped to her sides in disappointment as she tried to remain strong at the sound of the past version of her mother telling her she wasn't her mother. God, that was confusing, but it hurt nevertheless. "Fine. I won't. I got you to your house, so go talk to Julie and I'll be going."
Rose shook her head, "No, I need the TARDIS if I'm going to find the Doctor. You can't take it."
"She's more my ship than yours."
Rose considered this. "You can stay with me, Violet. I could use your help, anyways. I don't know how to fly her at all, and you do. So will you stay with me?"
The girl's face lit up with sympathy and compassion, "Sure I will."
They knocked on Rose's door and Jackie answered in her pink track suit, looking thrilled to see her daughter once again. "Rose, sweetheart, how has it been going? Are you feeling well?"
"I am... We got the TARDIS, Mum!" Rose said excitedly, releasing Jackie from a hug.
Violet reached forward to hug Jackie, "Yeah, we got the TARDIS!"
"Who are you?" Jackie said blankly, shaking her head at the red-head. "Do I know you?"
"Oh... Er... I'm Violet. Long story. We met before... Regeneration, it's a complicated thing. Anyways, where's Julie?"
Jackie gasped a little and stared at Violet before her eyes flickered to Rose. Her mouth formed the word 'regeneration?'.
Rose nodded and followed Violet as she walked down the hallway. Julie was sitting at the kitchen table, a frown set upon his face as he stared at his Egg. "Cameron hasn't replied all day," he said without acknowledging their presences. "I think he's been kidnapped."
