As a quick note, Egyptian girls usually married at around 14 so Yugi's mom would be in her early thirties in this story.

Yugi was cleaning the bathroom with Ryou the next day while the two stopped every now and then to play with their bunny princess. The cute white rabbit jumped around happily, glad to be with her masters. The day was bright and beautiful and Ryou couldn't wait to be done so he could go outside with princess and Yugi.
But Yugi was too preoccupied to notice or care about the nice day. His thoughts wondered, going from his mom to Joey to Ryou to Dahlila trying to figure out how to keep them all safe when the attack on Egypt happened. Yugi looked up at Ryou thinking about if the people he cared for would even follow him out of the city or would stay and die. 'Would you be willing to kill everyone you love just for your own selfish revenge?' His mental voice asked as he looked at his friend.
"Are you ok Yugi?" Ryou asked suddenly looking up. He was looking at him with a strange concerned look. Immediately Yugi thought he knew about the plan. The rational part of his mind tried to tell him that it was impossible but he wasn't listening to it. He was listening to the panicking side which told him that he was completely and utterly screwed.
Yugi kept a calm face and smiled at Ryou. "Yeah I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" Ryou gave him a look like he didn't believe him. He stared at him for a moment before speaking.
"You've been staring at me. Are you sure you're ok? You're not still hurt from..." Yugi blushed. It had been two days since Yugi was called to Atem's room. He was almost fully healed by now and as long as he didn't sit he felt fine. Right now he was on his knees and bending over so he could help clean the floors.
"I'm fine I'm just thinking about some stuff." Yugi could see that Ryou was about to question him when princess came over and nudged his leg.
Ryou smiled and picked up the bunny and started petting her, instantly forgetting his worries as Yugi gave an internal sigh of relief. "Hey Yugi can you make me another carrot to feed her?"
"I don't know if I can right now Ryou but I'll try." Yugi tried to calm down and focus on one emotion but his mind was a jumbled mess. His thought jumped from worry for his friends to anger at the pharaoh to happiness that he would soon slit the pharaoh's throat. He couldn't concentrate enough to make anything. With a sigh he opened his eyes which he had closed during this process. "I'm sorry Ryou but I can't concentrate right now. I'll try again later ok?" Ryou smiled at him and nodded.
Ryou suddenly got a thoughtful look on his face. "I wonder what the pharaoh's doing right now?" Yugi's eyes darkened in furry as he glared at the ground. The mention of him brought back the awful memories of a few nights ago. His scrubbing suddenly got harder, violent even.
"Probably being an over confident, self absorbed, pompous, jackass!" Yugi looked up with a look of fury still on his face, his words getting louder and louder as they grew with his fury. But his expression softened when he saw the look on Ryou's face. "Sorry... I just don't like him..."
"So I see." Ryou said. "Still I don't think that's what he's doing."

"Who does that little bitch think he is!" Atem screamed in front of Mahado who just stared at him in concern. He was mad and needed to rant. He paced back in forth in his study as he complained and made himself sound superior. Mahado knew he was upset but right now his king was sounding like an over confident, self absorbed, pompous, jackass. "He has the nerve, the AUDACITY, to blame ME! He's the one who forgot to say he was a virgin! He should have said that in the beginning and now because he makes a stupid mistake I RAPED HIM!? Who the hell does he think he is!"
"Well pharaoh," Mahado said slowly "it's not like you had the boy's consent. From what you say it doesn't exactly sound like he wanted it."
"AND!?" Atem roared in fury. "I'm the pharaoh! I don't need his consent to fuck him! He's my damn harem slave, it's his job! He should have been honored to sleep with me!"
"Pharaoh, maybe you should try seeing it from the boy's perspective. He's in a foreign place and all his people are gone and now he's being forced to have sex with the man who killed everything he loved. You wouldn't exactly be all that willing either if you were him."
Atem turned to Mahado suddenly with a glare. "Whose side are you on!?" Mahado sighed and stood up from his chair to leave the King's study.
"I'm not on anyone's side my king. I just think that his reaction is understandable is all." Mahado left leaving the enraged king behind him.
Atem stared at the door for a moment before he sat down in the chair that was now unoccupied and growled at the thought of his new harem slave. 'He's so frustrating and uncooperative! That little...' Atem continued his thoughts as he slowly thought more and more about what Mahado said.

Yugi and Ryou finished up in the bathroom and Yugi dispelled princess. "So what do you want to do now?" Yugi asked as he exited the bathroom, being careful not to get the bottom of his new robe wet.
"We should go out to the palace gardens! It's so beautiful out today we should take advantage of it while we have it!"
"That is true. We should invite Joey and my mom too although I won't be able to make princess while Joey is there." Yugi warned. The two boys agreed to the plan and started to head out the door. They got out the bedroom door and were about to go out into the hall.
"And where do you think you're going?" Yugi and Ryou turned a around and mentally groaned at seeing Téa.
"Out." Yugi responded, his eyes narrowing into a glare. He really didn't want to deal with the bitch today but it seemed he would have to.
"You can't just go out! If you had any brains you would know that!" She said with a smug superior look.
"And maybe if your legs weren't always open I wouldn't call you a whore. I'm going and I really don't care if you want me too or not."
"Unfortunately," a new voice said as they turned to see Delilah "Téa is right Yugi. You can't just leave the harem chambers like that." Téa gave Yugi a smug look but Delilah continued. "And Téa Yugi is also right. Maybe if you weren't always so desperate for the pharaoh to bed you, you wouldn't be known as the palace slut." Yugi smirked at Téa while the brown haired girl growled and stormed off. "Sorry about that Yugi but you're only allowed to leave between certain times. The pharaoh could come to pick someone at any time and if you aren't here if he does, you will be punished."
Yugi pouted. "But me and Ryou won't be gone for very long! We just wanted to go to the gardens for a little while since it is so nice out today. Delilah please, it'll only be a little while!"
Delilah looked uncertain as she tried to say no despite the adorable pout the boy's pulled. Eventfully she sighed and the boy's knew they had won.
"Alright but only for a little while!" Delilah smiled as the two small boy whooped and cheered in happiness.
"Thank you Delilah we won't be long!" And with that the two boys ran out the room and down the halls to the kitchen to get Joey and the former queen.
When the two boys got to the kitchens they immediately found Joey cleaning the meat so it could be cooked for that night. "Hey Yugi hey Ryou, whatcha need?"
"We were about to go to the gardens and we wanted to know if you and my mom wanted to come with us! If you're both not too busy that is."
"I'm not too busy, the meat can get cleaned without me. I think your mom is picking the ripe olives off the trees. Come on, let's go find her."
The three friends went over to the olive trees and sure enough there was Yugi's mom picking the ripe ones. When she saw the three boys she put down her basket. "Hey mom." Yugi said, giving her a hug. "We were about to go to the gardens, do you want to come?"
"Sure I think this should be enough olives for the night." The four were then on their way to the gardens. While they were walking Ryou spoke.
"So Joey, guess who I saw walking down the halls today?" Joey groaned and Ryou laughed. Yugi and the former queen gave them a confused look. "Oh sorry, I forgot you two didn't know. Joey has a crush on priest Seto!"
"I do not! I hate that rude arrogant bastard! Besides if there's anyone with a crush, it's you crushing on general Bakura!"
Ryou blushed fiercely. "I don't have a crush on him! I just said he was handsome that's all!" Yugi and his mother laughed as the two boys bickered back and forth about who they liked. Suddenly they turned back to Yugi. "So what about you Yugi, see any guys in the palace you like?"
Yugi rolled his eyes. "Me? Please! I haven't seen anybody I liked. Besides even if I did it would be hard to tell them I like them when they mistaken me for a twelve year old." The group of four continued down the halls towards the gardens.
Finally they got to a door and Ryou pushed it open revealing one of the most beautiful places Yugi and his mother had ever seen.
Rare exotic flowers bloomed in bright radiant blues and reds and greens and violets and whites. They bordered the stone walkway that lead to a circular section with a beautiful gold fountain in the middle that sprayed bright blue water. Apple trees were around the fountain with benches underneath for shade. Green lawn and open space stretched out and a few more trees that looked perfect for climbing sat out in the grass. Benches were scattered around the space surrounded by flowers. A pond with smooth water worn stones around it sat on one side. It was beautiful.
But when Yugi looked around he also saw walls. When he looked up he saw beautiful sky with big puffy clouds you could make shapes out of. But looking around them, Yugi saw four palace walls surrounding them.
"The gardens are inside?" Ryou turned at hearing Yugi speak. He was already halfway up the long path to get to the fountain.
"Yes we are still inside technically. There's another garden in the back of the palace that's outside but that one is only for the pharaoh and whoever he allows back there. Wasn't it like that back in..." The two looked around cautiously to make sure Joey couldn't hear but Joey and Yugi's mom were already running off to the pond, well out of hearing distance.
"The gardens back at home were beautiful but not in the same way." Yugi said as he looked around and leaned down to smell the flowers. "This place has a more exotic beauty to it. Back home the gardens were more... Delicate and gentle and sweet. And it wasn't inside." The two boys walked over to the pond to join Joey and the ex queen.
When they got there they watched as Joey and the ex queen started a game of tag. Joey was it and suddenly came over and tagged Yugi. Everyone ran as Yugi chased them and tagged the queen. And so the game continued until something happened.
Ryou ran towards Joey, so close to tagging them, neither of them realizing how close they were to the pond. Suddenly Joey's foot caught on the rock and he fell into the pond. Ryou was hit with the water that splashed up. Yugi and the ex queen began to laugh at the sight of the two drenched boys as Joey climbed out of the water.
"Oh you think this is funny?" Joey asked as the two continued laughing and nodding. Joey and Ryou each got an evil look on their faces as they grabbed the two and picked them up, tossing them into the pond.
"Hey!" Yugi yelled as he and the former queen each grabbed one of the boys and dragged them into the pool. And so the water fight began as the four splashed each other, laughing in glee and having fun, completely oblivious to their surroundings.

Delilah was in the harem chambers staring at the clock worriedly. She was praying to all the gods she could think of that Yugi would be back soon. She just had a very bad feeling about him being gone this long. Suddenly the front door opened and everyone turned before looking down realizing that it was the pharaoh. They all got in their line like they were supposed to.
"I'm not here to pick one of you." Atem said looking around for the one person he needed. After his talk with Mahado, he had decided to talk with Yugi about what had happened. He looked up and down the row, trying to find tri colored hair and amethyst eyes. But he didn't find him. Looking up at the sun dial clock on the wall he realized the time and realized that Yugi should still be in the harem chambers. Atem took a deep breath trying to keep calm. Finally he said "Where is Yugi?"
No one said a word. Delilah stood in her spot shaking in fear hoping a miracle would happen. And suddenly someone spoke. "Pharaoh." Everyone turned to see Téa who had a wicked look in her eye. "I know where Yugi is."

Yugi, Joey, Ryou and the former queen continues their water fight not knowing that someone was there watching them. As they splashed and played and laughed they suddenly heard a voice. "Get out of the pond."
Slowly the group of four turned to see an enraged pharaoh standing there glaring at them. "I said get out."
Ryou Joey and the ex queen quickly got out of the fountain but Yugi just stayed in the water glaring at the pharaoh. "What the hell do you want?" Yugi said suddenly realizing that unlike everyone else's, his white robe probably became see through when wet. 'The last thing I need is for this pervert to get excited and order me to go back to his room.'
"I need to talk to you." Atem looked over at the other three. "In private." Ryou Joey and Yugi's mom slowly got up and cast a concerned look back at Yugi before leaving the gardens. "Didn't I tell you twice already to get out of the damn pond!"
"If I ignored you the first two times why do you think I'll listen now?" Atem growled and went over to Yugi, grabbing his arms and dragging him out the pond. "Get off me!" Yugi yelled in rage at the pharaoh touching him.
As soon as Atem let go of his arms he quickly moved them to cover himself. Atem rolled his eyes. "It's not like I haven't seen you naked before." Yugi's eyes narrowed.
"Yeah and look how that turned out! If I remember correctly that ended with me in the hospital you rapist bastard!" Atem growled.
"How many times do I have to tell you! It wasn't rape! You are my harem slave, I don't need your permission! If I tell you to spread your fucking legs for me that's what you will do!"
"And you wonder why I call you a rapist! You don't care about anyone but yourself! You are so selfish and cruel! You told me you cared about your people! You don't even give a damn about your workers! No wonder my father wanted you dead, he wanted to free Egypt from you, you tyrant!"
"SHUT UP!" Atem yelled in fury. "That man who had you pinned against the wall in the hallway - the man I saved you from by the way- that was a rapist! I'm not one!"
"What was the difference between what that man was going to do to me and what you did besides the fact that you succeeded?" Atem walked over and grabbed Yugi by his hair, roughly pulling his head back until he was forced to look at him. Yugi gave a grunt of pain but other then that was silent.
"The difference is that I own you." Atem pushed Yugi down and stomped out of the gardens leaving Yugi to glare at the spot where Atem had been in pure fury, happy he would soon be able to kill the pharaoh.

Ishizu finally finished up in the hospital and was headed back to her room in the palace. She walked quickly down the dark halls wanting to get back so she could quickly go to sleep. She got to her room and took off her millenium necklace, putting it on her bedside table as she laid down and fell asleep.
Yugi crept up to the table and slowly grabbed it. He concentrated and brought some of his light magic to his hand, forming a fake replica that the priestess would now wear. Silently, he left the room.
He quickly ran down the hall until he found the one he was looking for. His father appeared out of the shadows. "Here is the first item father."
The king gave an evil smile. "Excellent my son. Now find the others. Before you know it, we will have Egypt crumbling to the ground!" The king disappeared into the shadows as Yugi quickly headed back to the harem chambers, already plotting how he would get the next item.

AN: I'm sorry this is late I've had a lot on my plate recently and during break I was with my family 24/7 so I had no time to write. But I'm here now! On another note, does anyone have any idea for what I should name Yugi's mom? I can't think of anything and I'm open to suggestions. So if anyone has any ideas for a queenly name please tell me in the comments.
