Luigi Rush! Part 9: Insert random stuff here!

A/N: Welcome back to Luigi Rush! Yay, I have if you haven't noticed I made a cover for the story! Blaze, Eggman Nega, Sonic, Luigi and the Sol Emeralds are from the internet while I made the Chaos Emeralds (including the Master Emerald) myself, I also tried to recreate Luigi but he looks slightly weird now. If you didn't notice I had the four main story characters as the four characters on the cover.
As a side note, this story comes after the first three Sonic Games, Sonic CD, Sonic Advances and Sonic Adventure (1). So no Shadow, Rouge, Big, Silver, E-123 Omega or any other character not yet introduced.
I'll be doing a Day x system from now on so I suggest paying attention.
Something I just need to elaborate on, a few chapters ago I mentioned how I hated the three Sonic shows (SATAM, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Underground) for how they portrayed Sonic, that gave the impression that I watch those shows. I don't, I absolutely hated the first two and I used to watch Underground but that was a few years ago, I also know that comics for the first two exist but I have never read or seen any comics. I decided to type this here because someone sent me a PM saying that in the shows the Chaos Emeralds glow when near another but not get hot like how I typed. I didn't know about this feature since I don't watch the Sonic shows and I think the PM-er misunderstood what I typed and probably thought I got it wrong. Since there's probably other people who would prefer glowing over heating I'll use that method from now on.
If you are enjoying this story then I hope you (not needed) review, you don't have to and I don't want to appear like I'm begging (which it looks like I am) but reviews really make me happy, and no I don't mean 'reviews help me get better' or anything like that. Reviewing is optional!
You may notice that the Emerald stats look slightly different, the first paragraph should explain why Tails now has the Yellow Sol Emerald and why Blaze has the Green Chaos Emerald.

^Twenty or so minutes after last chapter - Angel Island | Knuckles' house^
Knuckles, Tails, Luigi and Sonic all stood around a small fire near Knuckles' house, Knuckles didn't look happy.
"I can't believe you let her get away with the Chaos Emerald!" Knuckles growled angrily as Sonic held the newly acquired Yellow Sol Emerald.
"At least we got this," Sonic says and threw it at Tails, he caught it. "You should hold them since you'll need the scanner."
"I can't chip a bit for my scanner, it still only detects Chaos Emeralds and sadly only their direction from us."
"Well you have the other two so just hang onto that one," Sonic says shrugging.
"As we have discovered today, Eggman is a jerk! He has someone working for him that is trying to stop some Nega's plans and he is working with Nega to help make those plans a reality. So now that Cat is our enemy but also our teammate!" Knuckles states.
"I wouldn't think of her as a teammate," Luigi mumbled looking at Tails' scorched fur and then the large bandages around himself, Luigi was lucky that Knuckles had some weird herbal stuff to numb pain and regenerate damaged tissue.
"Well, what were you gonna say originally Knuckles?" Sonic asked from his log with Tails, everyone was sitting on logs near the fire. Tails and Sonic on one and Knuckles and Luigi on the other.
"Oh yeah!" Knuckles exclaimed and jumped off the log and flew into his house, this caused the log to roll back and make Luigi fall. Knuckles flew out and landed onto the log. "Get up Luigi, you don't want to infect your cuts do you?" Luigi got up and sat back down.
"What's that?" Tails asked looking at a pair of white gloves with glowing yellow symbols on them.
"These are our solution to saving our dimension, the Master Emerald told me what's been going on and gave me these!" Knuckles explained.
"The Master Emerald can speak now can it?" Luigi asked laughing, he thought Knuckles had accidentally said that.
"Yeah, it does that all the time. It tells me the status of the world, the dimension, the island, the Chaos Emeralds, itself and sometimes other people or me."
"Like I said Luigi, spiritual connection," Tails says as he put away the Sol Emerald.
"Where'd you put that?" Luigi asked staring at Tails.
"In my MNEP, where else would I put it?" Tails asked.
"M nep?" Tails sighed and looked at Sonic.
"Could you explain to Luigi about MNEP?" Sonic nods and looks at Luigi.
"MNEP is our way of pocketing things, it follows the same logic of us being different from normal animals-"
"Said logic being?" Luigi interrupted.
"That there's no explanation for it and is possibly a weird mutation alongside our already weird genes," Sonic finished.
"So what is it?"
"Well, Tails named it MNEP because it stands for Magically Non-Existent Pocket, it's a small, invisible vortex positioned just above our tails that things can only pass through it if we are wanting them to. It also somehow knows what we want to take when we grab into it." Luigi looked at him blankly.
"Of all the messed up and illogical things in this place that tops everything, {pauses} may I inquire how did you discovered such a thing?" Luigi asked.
"I tried placing something in my quills one day and it vanished," Sonic says making Luigi think of something.
"So you lot aren't normal animals?" Luigi asked.
"Nope, I'm the only blue furred Hedgehog that can talk, wear clothes, walk on two feet, curl up into a ball, harness energy from the emeralds to become super and whatnot," Sonic says. (He said nope as being not normal animals)
"Not only do I have two tails but other Foxes are unable to fly, talk, walk on two legs, curl into a ball, wear clothes and the such," Tails says.
"And you?" Luigi asked Knuckles.
"I'm from a tribe of Echidnas like me, due to some hunting done before Echidnas became endangered animals I'm the only one left," Knuckles explained.
"So you're not like Sonic and Tails?" Luigi asked.
"No, my species is supposed to be able to do what I do, but we have a subspecies of what people class as normal Echidnas."
"Anyways, what are those gloves for?" Sonic asked.
"Oh yeah!" Knuckles says realising he still held them. "These gloves will allow you Sonic to enter subspace, a glitched out void like place caused by the merging dimensions."
"Why would I want to go there?" Sonic asked.
"Because the Master Emerald has used its magic to send six of the seven Chaos Emeralds into subspace for safety, now it can't take them back."
"So that's how I lost them!" Tails blurted out loudly.
"How do I use them?" Sonic asked.
"The Master Emerald has created six dimensional spinners located in set locations across our dimension: Somewhere in Geno Bog, somewhere in Pika City, one at Starlight Bay, one hidden inside Prison Island, one at the abandoned Death Egg Launch Site and one on-board the destroyed Death Egg," Knuckles says.
"So we've got to cross the world in search of the Chaos Emeralds," Sonic mumbles.
"Without the Cyclone," Tails says.
"What's this Death Egg?" Luigi asked.
"Eggman's attempt to recreate a fictional space station, he actually succeeds in making two of them but I smashed 'em up!" Sonic says.
"One right here on my island," Knuckles growled.
"We better get going then!" Luigi says standing up, "Now that we know where the rest of the emeralds are we can stop Eggman from getting them!"
"Not now, wait till morning so I can fly better. And you should stay here Luigi, you're injuries or too severe," Tails says.
"Okay, but if you need me I'm willing!" Luigi says and felt a heavy hand slam down onto his back.
"I'll keep good care of him!" Knuckles says while Luigi cringed in pain from Knuckles' hit. "Oh sorry bud, forgot about your cuts."

^Moments earlier^
Blaze stood atop a branch overlooking their campfire, the Egghog was with her.
"What're they talking about? Can't they just fall asleep so we can take the Sols!" Egghog complained loudly, Blaze shushed him quietly. Knuckles then jumped up and she ducked down behind some leaves concealing most of her branch. The Echidna flew into his house and came out with some gloves.
"I can't hear them," Blaze whispered.
"Then stop talking, want me to fly down?" Egghog asked. Blaze didn't trust him but had some sort of new respect for him, he had managed to fend of the Echidna and Hedgehog with his hidden arsenal of weapons earlier and saved Blaze the Chaos Emerald.
"They'll see you."
"Not if I cloak!" Egghog says loudly. He then jumped down and lands with a thud onto the hard dirt ground, he jumped up and flew over to the four, as he did his metallic body blurred and went completely transparent in seconds.

Egghog returned to Blaze a bit later. "They were talking about where the emeralds are and the one named Luigi said that 'now that we know where the rest of the emeralds are we can stop Eggman from getting them!'"
"So they are against me, where were the locations?"
"Um, Geno Bog, Pika City, Starlight Bay and Prison Island," Egghog says sounding unsure.
"Are you absolutely sure?" Blaze questioned.
"Yep! All four remaining!" Egghog says smiling, he had actually forgot the last two locations but his maths skills told him that their three plus those four should make all seven so he ignored his fault.
"Then lets get their emeralds and get going," Blaze says about to jump.
"Wait! They have no way to escape the island! The Fox's machine apparently isn't available to them, so if we leave them here they'll grow weak and once we get the other four we should come back and take full use of their weakness to steal the Sol Emeralds back!" Egghog says.
"What if they can survive here?"
"Then I'll just ask Eggman if he can lend the Egg Walker and I'll blow them apart with the cannon," Egghog says shrugging.
"What's the Egg Walker?"
"Eggman's super amazing machine of ultimate power! Earlier this week it helped destroy the Blue Cyclone!" Egghog somewhat truthfully explains.
"Do you have any idea how we can leave this place?"
"I'll call for a ride!" Egghog says and all his lights turned off and he fell off the branch in an apparent deactivated mode. Blaze just watched her four enemies to see if they had heard Egghog's landing, they hadn't.

^Egg Fortress^
Eggman Nega was sitting on a metal chair with his head down in shame as Eggman blasted him with insults and scolding words.
"You got an emerald and what'd you do? Of cause waste it on a machine in a foiled attempt to take more emeralds! It was hard enough to get that one and now we don't have the Emerald to use as a tracking device.
"At least we got four Sol Emeralds!" Nega says.
"Because of my robots!" Eggman states and a loud beeping stopped him from ranting any further. He rushed to a communications relay device and activated the incoming connection.
"Dr Eggman sir! I know where most of the remaining emeralds are!" Egghog says.
"So Blaze and you have got them huh?"
"No sir, Blaze has the Green Chaos Emerald and Tails has three of the Sol Emeralds, Knuckles also knows where the remaining six chaos emeralds are but needs Sonic to do something to make them appear!" Egghog yells. (Egghog is actually silent on the island because he entered some special communications mode)
"Is that so? Where are the locations? I have a plan!" Eggman says excitedly, his plans were actually working for once.
"Geno Bog, Pika City, Starlight Bay and Prison Island!"
"Four? These are the Chaos right?"
"Yep, the other three Chaos are unknown, what's your plan?"
"I'll send Nega to fight Sonic after he gets an Emerald, then we get two emeralds! I have new orders for you that'll be printed from your inbuilt fax machine once I'm done typing them!"
"Yes doctor."
"Have I ever told you that you're my best worker?"
"No doctor, usually he scold me for being lazy and useless."
"Well you have undoubtedly improved! Once we win I'll upgrade your parts so you can be more advanced and humanlike!"
"YAAAAAY!" Egghog screamed and Eggman quickly turned off the relay and turned to Jeff.
"Good news! You have been given another chance, four actually! Now go get revenge!" Eggman ordered.
"I'll need a machine, a better one then before."
"Take whatever you see fit! {pauses} Actually wait! Anything but the Egg King or the Egg Salamander!"
"Alright, soon we'll be the rulers of everything!" Nega yelled and the two departed.

^Day 1 Morning - Angel Island^
Sonic and Tails had said their goodbyes to Luigi and Knuckles and were getting ready to leave the island to their next goal, Pika City. Geno Bog was the first one listed but they would rather head off to the closest location first. The two stood at the very edge of Angel Island, Sonic was putting the gloves on and had already put one of them on.
"What's that noise?" Tails asked and Sonic looked around the small clearing.
"Nothing, you're just paranoid about the Cat," Sonic says.
"You sure?" Tails asked as he glanced around the empty area.
"Probably," Sonic says shrugging. "I don't see how these things will work though, what are they gonna do? Allow me to touch the thing or allow me to use the thing?"
"My guess is that without them the thing would be holographic and you'll be unable to touch it," Tails says as he kept looking around nervously.
"Well, I'm ready! There's no point in waiting for an ambush so let's get going," Sonic states having put the other glove on. Tails grabbed both of Sonic's arms and lifted himself and Sonic off the ground. Tails flew away and after only a few seconds of flying a loud roar erupted from the quiet island behind them, the two looked back while flying and saw trees getting knocked over by something huge. A large red machine burst from the flying trees and flew almost into Tails and Sonic.
"That's the Egg Carrier! How'd it get here?" Tails yelled. (From the game Sonic The Hedgehog 2006)
"Probably Nega's escape craft, we should ignore it," Sonic yells over the booming engines. After a few minutes the huge craft was out of site. "I guess he didn't notice us."
"He may just be psyching us out!"
"I doubt it, then again he has done some pretty insane things of late," Sonic says thinking of how many times he had secretly tracked them down.

^A few hours later - Pika City | Underground Laboratory^
In a dark room floated two red orbs of light.
"Processing of transition to new environmental location complete, scanning finished and power supplies running critical. . . . . . . . . . . . find recharge station or power fill fall below needed levels. . ." A robotic version of Sonic says and the robot tried to move, large metal wires held it in place however. The robot's eyes grew brighter and a small bit of energy sparked out and quickly vanished. "Higher levels of energy needed to preform laser command. . . find more energy or robotic life support will shut down. . ." The helpless robot weakly tries escaping its prison. . .

Blaze's Storyline

^Day 1 around an hour after * - Geno Bog^
With a huge explosion of flames and smoke the Egg Carrier fired its emergency engines, this didn't help its condition. The Egg Carrier had tried landing at a clearing near Geno Bog but the pilot (Egghog) overshot the landing and had flown the huge and heavy craft into a thick bog of sticky green goop. Blaze stood outside watching.
"Did it work!" Egghog yelled from inside.
"No change, I think you've actually sunk even lower then before!" Blaze yelled as the Egg Carrier slowly sank a tiny bit deeper.
"Eggman'll kill me once he finds out I broke his newest toy in mere hours!" Egghog wails as he flew out of the wreck and landed near Blaze, the two watched as the aircraft sunk even lower.
"Come on, we need to find that Emerald," Blaze says turning away from the Egg Carrier, her annoying robot sidekick followed.

Act 1
Outside the Palace

Blaze reached the clearing they were going to land at and spotted something unusual, a large chunk of damaged metal with Eggman's insignia on it.
"Looks like one of Eggman's machines," Egghog says jumping onto the metal, it creaked and toppled over. Blaze looked at Egghog annoyed.
"Stay focused, we need the Sol Emerald!"
"Yes sir uh. . . Blaze!" Egghog shouts, he had messed up since he usually only responds to Eggman's orders. Eggman had however ordered him to do whatever Blaze said until he gave a later command. The two walked past the wrecked metal (not wreaked because that means something else) and Blaze saw more pieces of some ruined craft.
"Eggman once told me about Geno Bog, he said-"
"I don't care," Blaze interrupts but Egghog went on anyway.
"-that long ago an ancient civilisation lived here and they had built a huge palace, then some event I can't remember happened and they all died and their palace sunk under the bog."
"Why are you telling me this?" Blaze asked as they re-entered a boggy area.
"Because an underwater palace would be a brilliant place to hide a hidden machine capable of giving an emerald!"
"That actually would make sense, anything else Eggman told you about this?"
"He found it once but after raided it found nothing useful, so that means it exists and mustn't been too hidden for Eggman to find it!" The two then begin checking the boggy pools of slime and goop for any signs of a palace entrance. While searching a random Egg Pawn (Sonic Heroes) ran at the two with a shotgun, it fired at Blaze and she acrobatically dodged the bullets. (Like in the games bullets can be dodged, something real life bullets lack) Egghog fired a missile from his palm and the robot blew up.
"Must be a scout, there's probably more around here," Egghog explains expecting Blaze to jump to the conclusion of Eggman betraying her, which he didn't even know if the doctor was doing yet.
"What if they're trying to find the emerald and weren't programmed to not attack me," Blaze suggests and another Egg Pawn ran at the two, it met a similar fate. "What are they?" Blaze asked looking at the second one, it wasn't as damaged as the first.
"Eggman's E-1001 Egg Pawn. First made as a troop for the main army these robots now are used as lesser important duties like scouting, manual labour and other pawn worthy jobs," Egghog describes.
"Army? Isn't Eggman a guardian why does he have an army?"
"He has an army for protection and whatnot. By the way, I make profiles on all of Eggman's units except the ones where only one exists!"
"For what reason?" Blaze asked as they kept searching.
"I don't know, to fill the time?" Egghog says shrugging, he then fired a laser from his eyes that evaporated a small pool of gunk, after the foul smelling gas floated away they found nothing.
"Still with that pesky Cat I see!" The voice of Nega booms from above making the duo look up. "Egghog, why don't you join me here in this lovely Turtle robot thing named the Egg Turtle! I'll even pretend you aren't against me!" Nega jests from inside a huge Loch Ness Monster like robot.
"Nega! I won't let you win!" Blaze yelled pointing at the glass pod.
"Very well then!" Nega yelled as the flying robotic Turtle prepared its weapons. "Once I kill you I'll take your emerald and with these find the Sol Emeralds!"
"How would you do that?" Blaze yelled.
"My dear Cat, didn't you know that the Chaos Emeralds and the Sol Emeralds are linked, they glow in the presence of one another except when at really close vicinity! With your Chaos Emerald and my Sol Emerald I can find all of them!" Nega yelled and the turrets that covered the Egg Turtle aimed at Blaze. "Now hand it over!"
"No! You just explained to me how I can beat you!" Blaze quickly threw off her coat and her body was engulfed in fire, Egghog quickly flew aside.

Weakness[es]: The glass cockpit.
Flavour Text: The Egg Turtle was originally designed for underwater combat but after proving unable to fire off any weapons underwater it was adjusted for land and air use. The Egg Turtle uses its two oversized fins as a way of slowly walking or attacking, each fin weighs around the amount of a firetruck but made of reinforced Platinum coated with Ruthenium for a stronger surface. The Egg Turtle is capable of firing jets of water from its robotic mouth and is able to use these jets to drown and move its prey. The Egg Turtle's shell is covered by ten missile launchers, ten rocket propelled grenade launchers and five laser turrets capable of melting through anything short of pure Tungsten. The Egg Turtle's tailfin can also drop somewhat large proximity mines capable of blowing up most organic matter.

The Egg Turtle spun around in the air and all the trees around it broke apart because of the massive fins. "Get ready to be schooled!" Nega shouted and fired a jet of water at Blaze. The jet blasted her into the ground causing steam to burst out everywhere and Nega chuckled upon hearing her screams. He stopped spraying her and fired a few missiles at her. Blaze jumped up and threw some fireballs at them, the missiles exploded and Blaze landed safely on the wet ground, pockets of steam rose up from under her feet. Blaze pushed her right hand forward and a beam of fire blared out and hit the Egg Turtle. The Egg Turtle opened its robotic mouth and Blaze dived out of the way of the watery laser, said laser powerful enough to uproot the poor tree that's base it hit. Blaze jumped at the cockpit but the Egg Turtle spun around quickly thanks to its rockets, Blaze was hit by a fin and sent flying into a lake of boggy water. The water quickly boiled because of Blaze's constantly burning body and foul smelling bubbles started bubbling around her. Blaze stood up and tried to jump out of the way of a rocket, being unable to move she was blasted out of the bog by the rocket. Blaze hit a tree and caused a loud crunch, she fell down onto her tail and quickly sprang up ready. The Egg Turtle flew over the boggy water and fired some lasers at Blaze, she jumped aside and the lasers burnt through the tree and some of the ground before dying out. (They have limited range) Blaze ran around the large pond of bog water and fired some beams of fire at the Egg Turtle's engines, they hit doing no visible damage. The Egg Turtle spun around to face Blaze and received a beam of fire into the cockpit.
"Hey cool it! I can't see!" Eggman Nega yelled as the flames leaped over the curved glass, they weren't hot enough to melt it but were a large handicap. Once the flames died out Nega looked for Blaze, she was gone. "Where'd you go? I can't kill you if you hide and we both know that gets nobody anywhere!" He received no response. Nega slowly turned the Egg Turtle around in the air looking for Blaze, if she was under him she would be no threat because of the inescapable bog but he guessed she was in a tree somewhere. After awhile of slow spinning he spotted her coat flapping in a tree. "This game of Cat and Mouse has come to an end, DIE!" Nega yelled firing all twenty explosive shots and all five of his lasers at the tree, said tree was completely decimated. "WOO HOO HO HO HAAAH! I've done it! No more pesky Blaze!" Suddenly the engines exploded and the Egg Turtle smashed down into the large pond of bog below. "Huh?" The Egg Turtle spun around flying sticky water everywhere and Nega spotted Blaze standing ashore. She jumped at him and kicked the glass cockpit, luckily it was reinforced so it only suffered a crack. Nega spun around and Blaze fell onto the ground. "You'll pay for tricking me!" Nega yelled firing some lasers at her, Blaze jumped aside and quickly ran around the circular pond of bog while throwing fireballs at the Turtle. Eggman Nega forced the Egg Turtle to slam down a fin out of the pond and with a sickening suction sound pulled himself free of the bog. The Egg Turtle slammed a fin down at Blaze but something stopped it from crushing her.
Under the fin where Blaze stood floated Egghog, the small robot was holding up the heavy fin with what looked like a pained expression. (Yeah, robots in this story can feel pain if sentient) Blaze ran out from under the fin and jumped at the cockpit, she smashed the glass and landed inside the pod with Nega.
"AHH! Get out!" Eggman Nega yelled and pressed a button, the pod ejected out of the Egg Turtle and Blaze lost her balance and fell out. "You'll regret this!" Nega yells flying off in his escape pod.
"Wait! Eggman Nega!" Blaze yells throwing fireballs at him, they all missed.
"Hey Blaze!" Egghog shouts flying over, he handed her coat back. (He had used it to trick Eggman Nega) "The Egg Turtle has a Sol Emerald in it! If we take it we can track the others!" Egghog then flew to the deactivated Egg Turtle and yanked on the Sol Emerald embedded inside an unprotected slot. He kept pulling but was too weak to get it out.
"I thought you were quite strong before?" Blaze states confused as she simply pulled the Sol Emerald out.
"That was mainly my rockets keeping me afloat with enough force to stop the fin from falling," Egghog states with a robot laugh.
"I find it very creepy how humanlike you are, you are {short pause} a robot right?" Blaze awkwardly asks.
"Yep! I'm just designed to be sentient like a human! With a nerve system, thought processor, emotion replicated and personality!" Egghog shouts giving the air a random fist pump.

Sonic's Storyline

^Day 1, a few hours after * - Pika City^
Sonic and Tails had hitched a ride atop of a plane's wing that was heading for Pika City and had cut their three day flight to a few hours. The Plane landed at the Pika City airport and Tails quickly flew Sonic away before the two were seen. They stopped at Sonic's apartment and decided to discuss their means of finding the emerald storing device.
"So what did it look like again?" Sonic asked Tails as he sat on the couch, Tails was using his (Tails') laptop and was sitting at the table.
"Knuckles said some spinner thing but that doesn't describe much," Tails says trying to find something like it on Google, his search was 'master emerald spinner warp chaos' but all he was finding was weird named websites not related to his search, like some Sonicretro thing that he had no idea how to pronounce and some SonicWiki one that broke grammar by having two caps in one word.
"Have you tried looking at images?" Sonic asked as he turned the T.V on.
"With what search?" Tails asked.
"I don't know!" Sonic yells over the sound of racing cars, he was watching an F-Zero race. Tails mumbled something and searches for 'spinner pika city special' and after scrolling down for ages saw some weird red thing with a star in it, he clicked on the image and went to the page. It was a blogging site and someone had posted it only a few hours ago.

I know people won't believe me about this but I have proof! Like my followers know I usually walk through the old underground lab for exercise once every weak but earlier today I saw something out of place, it was some weird gravity defying spinner thing that I could grab one of the two poles and spin. At first I was freaked out by it but now I'm wonder what it is. Had anyone seen this before or am I going insane and seeing -and imagining myself touching- things that aren't there? Here's a picture.

"Hey Sonic, look at this!" Tails shouts and Sonic Rushed over and looked at the image onscreen.
"Email him!" Sonic exclaims excitedly.
"Could be a her," Tails corrects but opened up his emails anyway.

Message Subject: Red Spinner
Dear [insert username], I am Tails and I have Sonic with me, yep, the heroes that stopped Eggman a few months ago from destroying Pika City. We need to find that Spinner thingy because it is hiding a Chaos Emerald, mind replying back where the lab is or where we can meet up. THIS IS NOT A PRANK! Here's a picture of us for proof: [insert photo of Sonic and Tails smiling with the already typed out email in the background]
Please reply, and quickly if possible.

Tails clicked send and the two decided to watch TV while they waited. . .

Tails had checked his emails and with amazing luck an email just got sent so he quickly replied, Sonic stayed on the couch expecting Tails to quickly tell him to hurry over. Sonic waited and heard Tails typing again, after a few minutes more typing and then only seconds later.
"Alright!" Sonic shouts jumping up off the couch and walking over to the table. "What's going on?" Sonic asked and looked at the conversation between Tails and [insert username]. He frowned.

I doubt you are real but just in case, what would not giving you the location cause?

(Tails)
Eggman will be able to get the emerald and cause bad things.

([insert username])
Like wreck havoc onto Pika City and cause mass destruction?

(Tails)
No, he would wreak havoc onto Pika City and cause mass destruction.

Oh whoops, that's just me being a Grammar Nazi, wreck means to be broken and what not but wreak means to cause something to be wrecked.

You're not your, you're is a contraction of you and are and your is used for ownership, so try fitting you ar{Sonic had came over and Tails had stopped typing)

"Tails, just prove we're real and stop being so fixated on spelling!" Sonic commands annoyed at Tails for wasting time.
"Grammar but alright," Tails says and deleted what he typed and retyped it.

(Tails)
When we come over I'll prove we're real, just say where the lab is if you don't trust us.

Fine, [insert made up location]. Also, I don't really care for grammar, so stop it your annoying me. :3

Tails then closed his emails and shut down his laptop. "Alright Sonic, let's go!" The two then left. . .

^Pika City | Entrance to Underground Lab^
Sonic, holding Tails, blurred through across the stone pavement and stopped at a seemingly abandoned cottage, a kid with dark wavy hair stood near the door and his eyes widened with shock as he saw his heroes.
"It's you!" He shouts tempted to run over but didn't when he saw Tails and Sonic walking over.
"So where's this lab?" Sonic asked looking around.
"The entrance is through a hole in the basement, whoa. . . I never thought I'll see the real Sonic and Tails!" The boy says. (if you must have an age then he's a teenager, 13, 14, 15, I'll let you pick but he won't reappear in the story so your choice means nothing and is only for your mind to picture him better)
"So we have to fall?" Tails asked.
"No, there's a ladder," The boy says walking into the house, the wooden door creaked loudly because of the hinges being so old. The three walked through the empty cottage and then down some metal stairs into a gloomy basement lit only but some old digital clocks that flickered on and off every now and again.
"Seems like a great area for shooting ah haunted house movie," Tails says following Sonic and the boy slightly scared.
"Here it is," The boy says and started to climb down.
"Ah uh. . ." Sonic began and the boy stopped to look at him. "Well it's kinda dangerous for you to join us so um. . ."
"It's a long way till the spinner," The boy says and continued down. "Also the place is haunted and creates allusions, that's mainly why I exercise down here!" The boy shouts from the darkness below.
"Haunted," Tails weakly repeated, his eyes wide and his twin tails lowered.
"Come on Tails, I'm sure he said 'kind of haunted', I doubt a house can be haunted!" Sonic says giving Tails a reassuring wink.
"Bu-but you don't believe in ghosts," Tails states.
"That's why I doubt there is any, so come onnnnnnnnnnnn!" Sonic shouts jumping down, the nnn sound echoed for a bit and then Tails heard some shouts as Sonic must have landed onto the boy. "Watch out Tails!" Sonic shouts from far below, "It's longer then I thought! He was still climbing!" Tails then started to slowly climb down the metal ladder, the metal was very cold on his gloves and because of the cold moisture covered the bars and caused his gloves to get wet.
After he finally made it down Tails rushed over to Sonic and the boy. "Sorry I took so long!" He says loudly while scratching the back of his neck.

Zone 3
Pika City
Act 1
Mirage Road

"It's fine Tails," Sonic says smiling. The three then begin to walk through the eerily lit halls of the abandoned laboratory.
"So what used to be down here anyway?" Tails asked after a while of silence.
"They were testing chemical weapons down here until GUN raided one day, ever since then no one dare enters because of rumoured ghosts and whatnot," The kid says uncaringly.
"Are the rumours true?" Tails asked and notice Sonic smiling, Sonic quickly stopped hoping that Tails didn't see.
"Kinda."
"Kind of," Tails corrects.
"Kind of! By that I mean the darkness causes allusions and makes you feel delusional but that's all."
"You mean illusions right Tails," Sonic says smiling.
"No, allusions works better there." The three continue to walk in silence until a quiet growling starts.
"Come on Tails, you should have ate while we were waiting!" Sonic jokingly says looking back at Tails.
"I- I thought that was ah, you," Tails weakly says, his shoulders were all hunched up.
"Um," Sonic says trying to distract Tails, "It must be [insert username]."
"It's not," [insert username] says.
"Well thanks for not playing along," Sonic grumbles. After more walking the boy stops, Sonic and Tails notice the there was no ground ahead.
"I'm not sure if this is a real hole," The boy says.
"Hey Tails jump down it," Sonic suggests.
"Why me?" Tails asked.
"If it is real just fly back out." Tails then jumped and the ground reappeared. "This place is boring! No tricks, no fights, no illusions!" Sonic complains.
". . . digital configuration of lab malfunction. . . needed energy reaching critical. . ." A robotic sound hums. (like when a machine is on)
"That sounded like kind of like you Sonic!" Tails states worriedly.
"Lets check it out!" Sonic shouts and dashed off, bright lights flashed through the halls as he ran, something the group didn't notice happening to themselves when walking together.

Tails and the boy find Sonic after awhile (not long because it's one word) and see him poking a robotic version of him, stepping back and watching it attempt to grab him, then dropping down to converse power for Sonic to repeat.
"SONIC!" Tails yelled and Sonic turned around, the robotic him still trying to grab him.
"What?" He asked poking the robot again.
"What are you doing? We're wasting time!" Tails yelled, fed up with the place.
"I. . . need power. . ." The robotic Sonic says slowly lowering its head.
"Ah cheer up buddy, I didn't mean to make you sad," Sonic says to the robotic Sonic.
"I think that's the Metal Sonic! Remember that robot Eggman made?" Tails states.
"Oh yeah, this guy!" Sonic says and placed his hand under the robotic chin, he flicks it up and jumps back from the now enraged robot, it calms down in a few seconds and lowers its head again.
"power. . . needed. . . to. . . op. . . per. . . rate. . ." Metal Sonic groans out.
"We should hurry off to the spinner if it concerns you two so much," The boy angrily states.
"One moment, I want to try something!" Sonic says and karate chopped the metal cords holding Metal Sonic in place, they broke and Metal Sonic fell face first into the hard metal ground. Sonic starts laughing at this and even Tails smiles.
"We should go now before he gets up," Tails suggests and after giving a playful kick Sonic walks off with them.
"I. . . will. . . get. . . re. . . venge. . ." Metal Sonic weakly threatens, lowering his head to shut down, as he did this the last metal cord attached to him broke off, suddenly with the trio the whole lab seemingly vanishes into pure grey darkness as its power source not only ran out of power but disconnected.
"This. . . is bad," Sonic says looking around the not only pitch black but invisible lab. Because of the darkness soft glows of light slowly faded into and out of existence. The boy then walks off using his hands to feel the walls.
"Because I come here so much I know my way around, well if I get back into a familiar room that is, I don't ever got this way!" Sonic and Tails nod despite the boy looking the other direction. . .

"Well this is it!" The boy says looking at a huge, floating, glowing, red spinner. Sonic walked to it and took the gloves out of his MNEP and put them on. "Where did you get those?"
"From Knuckles," Sonic says.
"He probably meant how did you pull them from seemingly nowhere," Tails says.
"I don't know who Knuckles is but where did you take them from?"
"MNED, I don't want to explain so bye!" Sonic says grabbing the spinner, nothing happened. "Hey Tails, any idea how to work this?"
"Try jumping to make it spin? Maybe?" Sonic jumped up and the two poles spun a bit but nothing happened.
"Try giving me a push," Sonic says and both the boy and Tails began pushing him. After making it do a full spin the red spinner suddenly lit up with red lights and spun automatically, getting faster after each full revolution. . .

^Special Stage 1^
Sonic appeared in front of a Chaos Emerald, it was the Red one. He took it and appeared back at the lab with Tails and the boy, the Red Chaos Emerald lighting the dark halls of the lab.
"Let's get out of here!" Sonic says and three ran off with Sonic leaded, they find the ladder but before going up they heard a noise and turned around, Metal Sonic was crawling towards them.
"Please. . ." Metal Sonic robotically coughed out, "I'll. . . die. . . without power. . ." Sonic walked to him and lowered the emerald, Metal Sonic slowly reached for it and Sonic looked at him sadly.
"I feel so sorry for you," Sonic sadly says and Metal Sonic grabbed the emerald. "PSYCH!" Sonic yelled yanking it from Metal Sonic's robotic hand, he pulled so hard that Metal Sonic slammed his face into the ground.
"That was cruel," The boy says seeing a new side to his hero.
"Ehh, he was just a robot," Sonic says and they leave.

A/N: That will be the last story I update for the holidays since school starts for me tomorrow! I'll try to fit in time to update but until November 17th don't expect the same frequent (if you can call them that) updates that have happened over the last two weeks! Bye!
