Marth X Zelda

C Rank

Zelda: My Lord, could I please have a moment of your time?

Marth: Oh, Princess Zelda... is it not? I was just about to have lunch. Why don't you join me?

Zelda: Yes! Oh, um... My name is Zelda, yes. I would be very glad to join you for lunch.

Marth: Excellent. Please... have some tea.

Zelda: Thank you very much. I quite enjoy tea, thank you.

Marth: So what brings you to see me...

Zelda: Wow! This tea is delicious!

Marth: You like it? It was a new blend.

Zelda: Yes, indeed I do. You are quite the teamaster, my Lord.

Marth: I can't say I've been complimented on my tea, before. But thank you, nevertheless.

Zelda: Oh, but I mean it. Tell me... is Altea renowned for it's tea?

Marth: I would not say that it is, to be completely honest with you.

Zelda: Hm. I know very little of your country myself. Please, could you-

Marth: ... Zelda? Your hand...

Zelda: Please excuse me, My Lord. Something has come up... I must see Mario.

Marth: Hey, wait...! She's gone. What a strange girl. Her hand... it was glowing. Perhaps I should seek her out again.

Zelda: My Lord...! A pleasure to see you again.

Marth: And you as well. Have you fared well?

Zelda: Well enough, under the circumstances. I'm sorry for running out on you the other day.

Marth: It's fine. What was that all about, anyway?

Zelda: A vision.

Marth: A... vision?

Zelda: Yes. A future we managed to avoid, thankfully.

Marth: I don't understand what you mean...

Zelda: An ability of mine, passed through my family. I often see visions of the future.

Marth: ... Are you serious? That's incredible?

Zelda: Yes... this is why I am not allowed on the front lines. I am considered too valuable too lose.

Marth: It truly is an incredible power. An actual seer, in our army?

Zelda: I'm surprised you believe me.

Marth: You've given me no reason to doubt you.

Zelda: Thank you, Marth. That means a lot to me... it truly does. Marth... would you...

Marth: Zelda? What's wrong? Where are you going?

A Support

Marth: Zelda... there's something I don't understand about you.

Zelda: And that would be...?

Marth: You never did tell me what you wanted to speak with me about.

Zelda: Oh! ... Um. Yes. That.

Marth: it must have been something rather pressing, was it not? You've been on edge ever since I met you.

Zelda: ... Marth... I was very careless, and selfish.

Marth: What do you mean?

Zelda: I... wished to propose an alliance between Hyrule and Altea.

Marth: Are we not already allies, in this conflict?

Zelda: No, Marth... I wish to make this alliance much more committed.

Marth: Zelda. Don't tell me you...

Zelda: Yes, Marth... when I heard about your war torn country, I was reminded strongly of my own home. My people have suffered under this reign of terror, and I... need to make them happy again. Please... do me the honor and take me as your wife.

Marth: Zelda... you are a very good friend, and I have full intentions of helping your kingdom prosper to the best of my ability. I cannot, however, do what you ask.

Zelda: ... I see.

Marth: I know fighting in this campaign has been very hard on you, and on your people, but trying to pull me away from my own wife will not anyone any happier.

Zelda: ... You are already married? ... Haha. Heeheehee... Oh my... talk about embarassing... Hahaha.

Marth: I hope we can still be friends, Zelda.

Zelda: Of course we will. Please remind me to ask your wife to give me a slap, should I ever meet her. Ahaha.

Marth: I'm sure it will never come to that. Let's just forget this ever happened.
