Chapter Seven:
Piotr Romanov
"I have no idea who would want to take Katya." I said.
"Maybe they didn't mean to take Katya, but wanted Willow instead." Anya suggested.
"Probably."
The phone rang just then and I advanced towards it.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hello, is this Piotr Romanov?"
"Yes. Who is calling?"
"My name is Dracula. I'm calling about Willow Spirit."
Violet Frost
"Violet? Are you okay?" Operetta asked me.
I rubbed the back of my head and said, "I think so."
I stood up and looked in the mirror. The only thing that changed physically was my hair.
"Erik, how can I use my powers?" I asked him.
"I don't know. From what I understand, you should just be able to summon them."
"Can I try?"
"Sure, but go in the barn. If you burn it down, I never liked it anyway."
Operetta and I giggled and ran to the old rickety barn. Erik didn't keep anything in here, which backed his statement of never liking it.
"Where do I start?"
"I dunno. Try chanting something. Like a spell. I saw that in a movie."
"Doesn't it have to rhyme?"
"Probably. I'll help you."
Piotr Romanov
"What about Willow?" I asked and as soon as I said Willow's name, my sisters surrounded me.
"I know where she is."
"Where?"
"She is with the Phantom of the Opera in Mississippi. HOw did she end up in the states?"
"My sister, Katya, moved there with her husband, Killan Spirit. Is Willow safe?"
"Yes, she is. Phantom has been raising her as his own since she showed up in Mississippi."
"Thank you for calling, Dracula. We will fly in. Where should we land?"
"Salem, Oregon. It's a monster community."
"An entire monster community?" I asked, in doubt.
"Yes. It was built quite some time ago. A lot of monsters migrate here to be safe."
"This sounds like a trap."
"Its not. Only monsters know the story of your great-grandmother Annastasia and how she escaped."
"Everyone in Russia knows that story."
"Okay. How about her husband, Gavriil Ivanski, was a wizard making all of his children and grandchildren witches and wizards?"
"Alright. Good enough for me. We should land tomorrow."
"Alright. I will have Clawrk and Harriet Wolf pick you up. Will there just be the four of you?"
"Correct. We will see you soon, Dracula."
Violet Frost
"Okay, so spells aren't working."
"Obviously. Maybe try to think about it?"
"Okay."
I closed my eyes and imagined fire coming from my hands.
"Violet! You're doing it! Look."
I opened my eyes and sure enough, balls of fire were in both of my palms."
"How do I get them to go away?"
"Try imagining them disappearing?"
I pictured a fire reducing to embers and sure enough, my fire balls disappeared.
"Woah. That was amazing!"
"Violet! 'Retta! Come in, please."
"Coming!" Operetta and I both yelled and made a run for the house.
"What is it, Daddy?" Operetta asked as soon as we came in the back door.
"Well I just got off the phone with Dracula."
"And?" Operetta urged.
"Violet, your family from Russia is flying into Salem, Oregon."
"That's great news!"
"Yes it is. Dracula arranged for the three of us to fly in tonight. Unfortunately, Violet will be going back to Russia wither her aunts and uncle."
"B-But she's like my sister."
"I know, 'Retta. Just as she's like my second daughter, but we can discuss that with the Romanovs later. Pack all of your things, Violet."
"Yes, Erik."
Dimitri Leafgreen
I decided to try Mother Earth once again. The Spirit's home was sold because the police considered them dead. It was auctioned off. So I knew I had to try and contact Mother Earth from under my back porch.
"Alright, Mother Earth. Now will you tell me where Willow is? I need to find her. Please, Mother Earth."
"You are persistant, Dimitri Allen Leafgreen."
"I'm sorry, Mother Earth. I love her. I want to find her."
"You finally believe me now. Oh and she's coming home."
A/N: So, what do you think? Review please. :3
With Love,
