Chapter 16 Team Eevolutions

As Black and Keegan woke up, the noticed that it was already 7:30 "Crap! We got to go!" said Black
"Yeah get dressed and meet me in the hall!" said the pre-dressed Keegan. Black did so and they ran to the Tournament Center. Once there Nurse Joy had them pick a team name, Eevolutions because Black would use Jets and Keegan would use Flareon. They were told to go to field three and wait to battle. They did so and got there in three minutes, once there they waited and almost got an automatic win but the other team showed up at last minute. The other team sent out a Toxicroak and a Drapion, Black wish ha could use his Pokedex but it was against the tournament rules, so he sucked it up and sent out Jets. The Pokemon-Ref explained the rules and signaled to start the match. The other team went fist they used Sucker Punch and Poison Sting, aimed at Jets, Black and Jets had been training for weeks, so Jets easily evade the attacks. Black and Keegan then had their Pokemon use their best moves, Blast Burn and Hydro Pump, in a hit or miss effort to win, and it work, knocking the other team out instantly. They walked off ready to battle their next opponent.

The two friends went to Torchick-fila grabbed a Torchick leg and sat down to eat. Black was amazed how daintily a girl could eat fried Torchicken. They sat and talked and then she kinda lend on Black's chest and smiled. He wasn't sure how to take it then to ungrease his hand and rap his arm around her shoulder, and in that moment they became more than friends.

They want back to the Tournament Center and checked into the trainer lounge and hung out with the other trainers. They found Keegan best friend, Tasia, and hung with her for a bit. Black learned that Tasia was pretty cool. Soon they found out there next matching, they were to face Reece and his girl friend, Grace, and they had an Jolteon and Espeon, it wasn't looking good but they had a full day to plan a strategy out, so they went to their room and started planing.

In the morning they still had no idea how to win so they decided to wing it. They went to the HOW ( House of Waffles ) and got the best strawberry waffles ever. While eating Black and Keegan keeped flirting and then were interrupted by Red "Hey love bids, can I sit with you guys." asked Red
"I guess." sighed Black, so he stopped flirting and ate his waffles.
