Black and Keegan hurriedly finished their food and left Red ordering, the two went to the Tournament Center early only to find Grace and Reece having a snogging session. Keegan gave Black a look and and he walked away as fast as possible. He went into the friend and saw he was screwed, the field was just floating platform above a deep pit. You could see the ground of the pit but if you fell down there you'd be a sitting duck. Black knee that Reece had a Espeon and it could easly use its phychic powers to move the platforms. He shook his head and sent it Jets, the two shared a look and and shook their heads. They where definitely screwed. Then fans started pouring into the stadium and Black saw something on the ground, it was a trainer card On it read

He gasped, eight badges is a lot. Then he realised that this Gold must have lost this, e dialed the number in his Xtranseveir and waited, a boy picked up,
"Hello? Gold." Said Gold
"Um, this is trainer Black and I found you're trainer card." Spoke Black, nervous.
"Oh! Thanks, I've been looking for that, where are you? I'll come an get it." Gold replied
"Kanova." Spoke Black
"Oh crap. Well looks like I'll be without my card for a bit. I'll call you in about thee months free I beat the Kanto gyms and the league. Then I'll come to Kanova. You'll have to show me around. I'll see you later" Gold said as he hung up. Black felt excited, some day he'd meet a champion, then Keegan came onto the field and jumped on the platform. She offered a hand to Black who took it ad walke into te platform Jets following behind. He was now determined to win, he would win and become a champion too, he nodded at Jets who jumped onto the nerest platform and readed for battle.
It was several minutes later that Reece and Grace arrived but they did. Reece sent out Espeon and Grace sent out and Umbreon. The match started, "Jets! Use Hydro Pump on Espeon, don't let him. Move you around!" Shouted Black
"Espeon use phsycich on the platform to mess up the Vaporeon!" Reece shouted, Jets jumped into another platform ad hit Espeon, knocking off the cat it's platform. But it used t powers and brought a platform down to save itself.
"End that Umbreon with Blast Burn!" Keegan screamed and te little Flareon obeyed killin tue black cat. All that was left was Espeon.
"ESPEON DO IT NOW!" Shouted Reece. The cat used Phsycich and rammed Jets' and Flareon's platforms together, the two cats flew, Jets grabbed the edge but Flareon wasn't so lucky.
"NO! FLAREON!" Screamed Keegan.
"Jets! Avenge Flareon and use Hydro pump and take out Espeon!" Black shouted, Jets did so and knocked off the cat. It fell Ito the pit where Flareon finished it off. The had won, and they moved onto the Semie-finals.
