Chapter 16: Thursday, White Day

"What the! What's all this?!" I screamed. The minute I stepped into the living room, there was a mountain of cookies wrapped in plastic with a red bow. "Can someone please explain this to me?!"

"Those are White Day." Hitsugaya answered. But that's…a lot…But they did get quite a load of chocolate during Valentine's Day.

"Are you going to give every single girl these cookies?" I asked as I picked one up to take a closer look.

"You think we waste time with that. We're just gonna leave it at a corner for them to take." Hitsugaya answered. That's kind of mean…

At Class:

"Look at them go…" Rangiku muttered as she, Rukia and I stared at the hundreds of girls crowding around the three princes' White Day presents. "Man, if they continue to act like this, they won't be women anymore. I chuckled and opened my locker, allowing packets of gifts to pour down.

"What the!" I shrieked as I tried to catch them.

"Whoa, Kurara what is this? When did you give so many Valentine's Day chocolate?" Rangiku asked in astonishment, she and Rukia helping me pick up the packets.

"I did not! I only gave three." I didn't tell them to who, but I think they know.

"Well, at least I saw what I wanted to see." Rangiku said gleaming. Oh yeah. On Valentine's, she wanted to see boxes of chocolate pour down from Ichigo's locker.

"Hm? 'Dear Kurara, thanks for helping me with math last week. Hope to talk with you soon. From Hiirashi.' 'Dear Kurara, thanks for the amazing miso soup. It really woke me up for classes. From Yamato.' What!" Rukia said out as she read the note of the packets.

"Oh him. Yeah I did help him out with some algebra questions. Hope he's doing well." I replied.

"Kurara, do you know what you just got?" Rangiku sighed.

"Apparently not." I answered.

"You were just given a bunch of thank you gifts." Rangiku answered. Sensing my curiousity, she continued. "It's only been practiced here in Gotei Academy. On White Day, boys can also give gifts as 'thank you' to the girls who helped them, not just those who gave them chocolate. And seeing that you're so helpful and all, it's no wonder you got all these." She makes it seem that being helpful is a sin…The three of them then helped me bring in the gifts to my table.

"Whoa! What's with all the goodies?!" Ichigo exclaimed when he came over to my desk.

"Looks like Kurara got a ton of thank you gifts. Even when it's still your third month here, you're really popular!" Rangiku smirked as she nudged me on the waist. Was it just me or did Ichigo flinch a bit when he heard that.

Breaktime:

I went down to the Home Econs room to get a bag. Hopefully Kasandora is there so I can ask for her permission.

"Excuse me…" I stepped into the room, greeted by a very happy looking girl. "Ka...Kasandora?!" I could see sparkles around her face as she gleamed with utter joy.

"Oh Kurara. What's the matter?" she asked in a very sweet voice. It's kind of spooking me out.

"Uhm…Did something good happen?" I asked in a slightly terrified tone.

"Oh Kurara! The most wondrous thing did happen!" She replied. I wouldn't have guessed… "Ishida, I mean Uryu-kun just gave me his White Day present!" Wait! Uryu-kun? Kasandora then handed me a ticket.

"Symphony, the musical?" I read out.

"I've always wanted to see it and so did Uryu-kun! This is the best!" Kasandora squealed.

"By the fact that your using his first name must mean that you and him are an item." I smirked and Kasandora blushed profusely.

"Anyway, what are you doing here?" Kasandora quickly changed the subject.

"To get a bag for the thank you cookies I got." I replied as I searched the room for one.

"Oh, looks like someone's getting popular." Kasandora smirked.

"It's just thank you gifts, nothing more than that." I said back.

"Oh yeah, but would you say that if one of the princes gave you one?" Kasandora gave a cheeky comment, making me almost losing my step.

"Where…Where did that come from?!" I stuttered and Kasandora gave a cheeky grin.

"Come on now. You know as well as I do that you're just waiting for them to give you their presents." Kasandora said as she went close to my face, seeing my blush.

"That's crazy! They have to since I gave them my Valentine's Day chocolate." I quickly said back, grabbed a bag and left the room.

"I don't think it's just that. I think there's something more into those presents that they'll be giving." Kasandora whispered, not reaching my ears.

Once I got back to class I got another shock.

"Where did these come from?!" I screamed, staring at even larger pile of gifts on my desk.

"Kurara, just how many boys did you help?" Rangiku asked back. I sweat dropped. Suddenly someone dragged my arm out of the class. It was Ichigo.

"Ichigo?! Where are we going?" I asked but he just continued to drag me along. Soon, I found myself in the roof. "Ichigo?" He suddenly passed me a small white box, wrapped up in a pink ribbon.

"It's for White Day." Ichigo answered, turning his head away from me to hide his blush. I took it and opened it to find a cute little bear keychain with a pink polka dot ribbon on its neck. "I saw you staring at it when we were going back home. So there." Ichigo scratched his head awkwardly.

"Wow! Thanks a lot Ichigo! This really means a lot to me!" I gave a bright smile, making Ichigo blush even more. It's kind of cute.

Ichigo's POV

"Anyway, it must be nice getting all those presents huh?" Why the hell am I saying this?!

"Well yeah. But it's just thank you gifts, nothing special." Kurara calmly replied.

"Actually…I think those guys may have something for you." I replied, regretting doing that.

"Maybe, but I'll still think of them as thank you gifts. I mean I barely even spent time with them so if they had feelings in them, I probably can't return them back." Kurara said. I was kind of shocked. Kurara seemed more like the type of girl who would gladly give back her feelings no matter who. "Besides compared to all the gifts I got so far, I'll treasure yours the most." Kurara beamed a cute smile at me. Treasure my gift…I couldn't help but smile. Suddenly the bell rang and Kurara started to head for the door. I had to stop myself from grabbing her hand.

"Come on! We're gonna be late for class." Kurara said urging me to follow. Well, at least I get to spend the next few seconds with her.

In the Library, Kurara's POV:

It's here right? I got a note in my notebook, saying that someone wanted to meet me here. I just hope it's not another stranger. Then I saw a familiar figure sitting on a couch, reading a book.

"Kuchiki sensei?" I asked and saw the figure lift up his head.

"Ah, Haruno. I see you saw the note." Kuchiki sensei said before standing up.

"You were the one who wrote that." I said. Although I should have guessed it with all those sakura flowers on the edge. "What do you need me for?"

"Here. Happy White Day." He then handed me a book which was had a red ribbon tied to it.

Byakuya's POV

"Ah! 'Legend of Keira Starr'! I always wanted this book! Thank you so much!" I could see that Kurara's eyes filled with happiness. It made my heart skip a beat. I never seen anything cuter than this. "How did you know I wanted this?" she asked.

"Rukia told me you were eyeing on it when you two went to the bookstore so I thought this will help entertain during your free time." I replied.

"Thanks! I really love it!" I felt a blush creep up on my face when I saw her happy face, something that I will always treasure.

At home, Kurara's POV:

"Hey Haruno." I heard Hitsugaya call out to me as I finished washing the dishes.

"What's up?" I asked as I approached him. He then shoved a heart shaped box into my face. I took the box and opened it to find a necklace with a big silver star pendant. "Hitsugaya, this is so pretty!"

Hitsugaya's POV:

"I thought it would look good on you so I bought it. Happy White Day." I replied. I couldn't help but smile seeing her cute face. It was like an angel. I can't believe I just thought that…

"Hey could you help me put it on?" She suddenly handed me the necklace and turned around, lifting up her ebony hair. I could feel my face blushing as I wrapped the necklace around her neck. Once done, she looked down at it and showed a cute smile.

In her room, Kurara's POV:

This is practically the best White Day I've ever had! I thought to myself as I placed the presents on my desk. Then I noticed a white box with a pink outline of a crown on the lid. I opened it and found a silver chain bracelet with a heart charm and a white note on top of it. To our dear sister. From the Princes. Look closely at our presents for a surprise. Happy White Day. "Surprise?" I asked myself and picked up the heart shaped that Hitsugaya gave me and checked it thoroughly, trying to find that surprise. Then I lifted up the cushion which the necklace sat on and found a snowflake charm underneath it. Then I quickly took Ichigo's and Kuchiki sensei's presents. I found a strawberry charm in Ichigo's and a sakura charm in Kuchiki sensei's. I get it! It's a charm bracelet. I then put the charms on to the bracelet and admired it. It was like each of those charms represented the princes and I. They can be really sweet sometimes. I smiled and soon drifted off to sleep, wearing my bracelet of friendship. Or was it…

How was it? I'm still open for new ideas for chapters. Also one question: How many chapters do you want me to do? I can do many, 20, 30 even 60 if you want! XD so keep the reviews coming!
