A\N Hi! UPDATE! Major news. I finally cleaned up "Private Paradise" fanfic and DAMN there was a LOT of stupid mistakes! I cleaned most of them, probably not all of them, but most. Also, i really appreciate your advices about Beta, BUT it won't happen, reason for it is i just don't want to. It's my work, and mine alone that i share with you, and passing it through a 3rd party just doesn't feel right. One of my friends even called me an idiot when i told her about it. But that's how i roll. I hope you understand. I will clean up this story too, sometime after i finish it
And as always
READ AND REVIEW.

Chapter 12
Day and night
"Central plaza." middle-age female bus driver announced.
"Thanks Carrey." Kim smiled to her.
"My pleasure, miss Possible."
Team Possible picked up a big present box and left the bus.
"Hello Go City!" Ron shouted energetically.
"I wish i could have your enthusiasm." Shena rolled her eyes.
"Oh, come on." Kim smiled. "Aren't you at least a little bit happy to come back?"
"Nope. In fact, if it weren't for the twins, i wouldn't be here. Seriously, this place is a dump."
"Looks pretty clean to me." Ron looked around.
"I meant it figuratively." Shena explained. "Anyway, follow me, i have a surprise for you."
After couple minutes of walking, they arrived to a giant cup-like building with big taco-sign in front and sombrero shaped roof.
"It's..it's…" Ron's heart skipped a bit. "Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho!"
"Grand opening." Shena said. "They two weeks earlier than was planned."
"How did you know about it?" Kim asked.
"I have my sources." she looked back to where her blond friend was a second ago. "Uhm, where is Ron?"
"I guess, he is already inside." Kim shook her head.
When Kim and Shena entered the building they so a red blur, their friend without a doubt, moving from one place to another. Ron, excitingly, explored the place with his eyes shining like stars.
"THEY HAVE SALSA PARADE!" he stopped near conveyer belt. "Man! I wish Rufus was here. Why did i left him at home?"
Meanwhile, a tall brunette man with wide shoulders approached girls.
"Shena!" he smiled happily and hugged her. "How i'm glad to see you…oomph."
Fist hit his stomach.
"I'm glad to see you too, now please let me go." she said with sweet but menacing smile.
"You haven't changed a bit." he chuckled, letting her out of his embrace and turned towards Kim, pushing up his glasses.
"My brother." she looked at Kim, while pointing at the man.
"Herald Go." he pushed up his glasses. "You must be Kim Possible, i heard a lot of good things about you. Thank you for looking after my little sister. Glad to finally meet you in person."
"Nice to meet you too, Herald." Kim smiled and shook his hand.
"So, you are going under your real name nowadays?" Shena blinked in a slight confusion.
"Yes, ever since twins started middle school." he answered. "Both they and Melvin are using their real names too."
"Well, at least it sounds better than Hershel Gond." she smirked.
"Hey, i liked that name!" he commented. "Anyway, i have one question. Is that guy with you?"
Hego pointed at guy in red jersey.
"Yeah." Shena answered. "His name is Ron."
"Ron? As Ron stoppable?" he saw her nod. "Corporate sent out a memo. There are some special procedures I'm supposed to implement this point."
"He's actually harmless." Kim said.
"Well, in honor of the Grand opening, I'll look the other way." he smiled. "By the way, my shift is over in an hour, so i can give you a lift."
"That would be great." Kim agreed.
Shena and Kim found themselves a table and waited for Ron. He joined them ten minutes later, with three food trays: one in left hand, one in right, and one balanced on his head.
"The best i could find in the menu." he put trays on the table. "I couldn't find naco, though. That was weird."
"You can ask my brother about it if you want." Shena swiftly grabbed burrito.
"Your brother?"
"Shena's brother is manager here." Kim explained. "We met him at the entrance after you ran away."
"You'll meet him later anyway." Shena finished her burrito at took another one. "He will give us a ride."
"Oh, ok." Ron felt a bit nervous.
After all food disappeared from all three trays, Ron brought one more, with a big plate full of salsa and another plate filled with nachos. Kim couldn't take another bite. She watched as her friends continued to stuff their mouths and smiled. No matter how awkward might her relationship with Ron can be, moments like this always makes her a little happier. Sometimes simple moments are the best. And she really felt that way right now.
"My shift is over now." Herald approached the table, and looked at Ron. "I don't think we have been introduced. My name is Herald Go, i'm Shena's older brother."
Hego extended his hand for a handshake.
"Ron…" boy quickly cleaned salsa from his finger with a napkin nearby and grasped tall man's palm. "Ron Stoppable."
"Nice to see you two in person." he smiled and released his hand.
"Nice to see you too." Ron said made serious look. "And i have a VERY important question! Where is naco? I can't find it in the menu!"
"Sorry, but we don't serve Naco."
"WHAT?"
"All our menu items were taste-tested by ten random customers before being finalized. The Naco did not test well, hence it was not added to the menu."
"How can that be?" Ron grabbed his head.
"Sorry." Kim told to Herald. "He is taking naco very serious."
"I can see that." he looked at the distressed teen.
"Naco, why?" Ron was crushed.
"Well, this became depressing really fast." Shena stood from the table. "Come on! Lead us to your car. I want to see my little twerps again."
As soon as she saw the vehicle, a burst of laughter came from her mouth.
"R-red m-m-minivan? Bwahaha." she couldn't stop. "Since when you became a soccer mom?"
Kim actually snickered at this, covering her mouth to not be impolite.
"What?" he felt a bit perplexed "It is save and capacious vehicle."
"Whatever." Shena still snickered. "Just take us home, Mom."
After Shego put a present into minivan's trunk, she and her friends got inside the car and her brother started it.
Herald missed his little sister, even her snarky attitude. Seeing her, in person, nearby, brought happiness to his heart. For the last six years he dreamed about this moment. Many things changed since her disappearance and probably even more changed after she reappeared. For the last month Hego felt himself like a totally new man, and he could thank Shena for that.
He drove them to a white apartment building and turned the car towards the underground garage.
"We're arrived." Hego stopped the engine and went out of the car.
"Wait." Shena followed him. "This isn't Go Tower. Did you change the base while i was out?"
"No, our base is still Go Tower. I just moved out with boys, for them to have more normal atmosphere."
"Moved out? To this building?"
"To an apartment." Hego explained. "It's on the seventh floor."
After she retrieved the present from the trunk, they all took a ride on the elevator and arrived to the doorstep of the apartment № 705. As soon as they stepped inside, Shena hid the box behind her friends. Two visually identical pre-teen boys appeared in a hallway to meet them.
"SIS!" they both ran towards and hugged Shena.
"I missed you too, you rascals!" she smiled rightly and tousled their hair. "Dang! You've grown so much!"
"Stop it sis!" Wendell pleaded, trying to escape her grasp.
"Yeah, stop it!" Wesley said, while giggling a little.
But Shena just tousled it harder.
"Still abusing younger ones i see." tall skinny guy appeared before them.
"What, you want some sister love too, Melvin?" she smirked.
"Nah. I still want to live."
"By the way." Shego stepped to the side. "Boys, this is Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, my teammates and friends."
"Nice to meet you all." Kim nodded.
"Hiya!" Ron waved energetically.
"And this is Wendell and Wesley. Oh, and the moody one is Melvin."
"Yeah yeah, nice to meet you all." Melvin said without enthusiasm and walked towards the door. "I would like to know you all better, but i have things to do. Ciao!"
He saluted, sloppily, and left the apartment.
"Did we say something wrong?" Kim felt herself awkward.
"No, not at all." Herald reassured her. "He is always like that."
"Told ya he was moody." Shena added.
"Oh, ok then." Kim sighed from a relief.
"Since the party-pooper is gone." she went toward her friends and pulled up a big rectangular box, wrapped in gift paper. "Happy birthday!"
Eyes of the twins sparkled with glee. They took the box from her hands and immediately tore up the wrapping paper.
"WOW!" they said in sync as soon as they saw a box-art of the game.
"Now boys, can you keep our guest a company, i want to talk to your sister alone."
"Yes!" Wendell nodded.
"Of course, follow us!" Wesley said.
Hego lead his sister to his study room. It looked like it wasn't complete yet, most of the shelves were only half-way full. Shena saw an armchair and dropped her bottom on it, while Herald sat behind the desk.
"Awesome place you have here." she said, leaning on the back of the armchair.
"Yes, i like it too." he smiled. "It pretty close to school, so boys can go there and back by themselves instead of relying on me driving them, and it's not really far from Melvin's apartment too…"
"Wait…wait. Melvin's apartment? He isn't living with you?" she saw him nod. "Wow, things really have changed while i was out."
"More than you know."
"So, what do you want to talk about?"
Hego opened a drawer in the desk and pulled out a folder. He opened it slowly, pulled out a document with local bank insignia on it and handed it to Shena.
"This is yours."
Shena looked at the paper. It was an account under her name, with a quite amount of money in it.
"Twen…" Shena gulped. "Twenty millions? Mine?"
"Yes."
"What? How? …."
"How do you thing i was able to afford our hero equipment and Go Tower?"
"I always thought it was given to us by Mayor as a gratitude for saving the city after first couple times. You told us that!"
"I…lied…"
Shena's eye twitched.
"You better to start explaining this, before i fried your ass on green fire." she said sternly.
"Yeah, yeah i should." Herald sighed. "You already know that our great-patents died before even you were even born, right?"
"Yes, i only saw them on pictures that Mom kept."
"Apparently, both Mom and Dad come from a wealthy background, and our grandparents death wasn't accident or health issue. It was planned murder. Our parents knew that the motive was money, so they decided to disappear from the public eye and live a more humble life in Go city. Most of the wealth was reaped apart by the vultures that our grand-parents called friends and partners, but there was also money that Mom and Dad manage to salvage, 100 million dollars. They put it all on my name at first, to make an appearance that they don't have a penny, i was only two-years-old at that moment. And they never touched a cent from that account, instead they split them every time one of us was born. In the end, each of us had its own account with 20 million dollars on it."
Herald made a small pause to clear his throat and continued.
"Shortly after Mom and Dad passed away i found this folder with all our documents in it, including bank account data, and a letter that explained this all to me. I tried to follow their example and kept it in secret. I used money from my account only to pay the bills, at least until we started our Hero duties. Most of the money went on buying a land and building Go Tower and all equipment we needed. I allowed it to myself because our civilian identities were hidden under our masks."
Shena was shocked by all information that was thrown on her.
"Shena." he continued. "I wasn't going to tell you about it until you are 18, i told Melvin about it on his birthday last year. But i think i can trust you with it. You can access this account anytime you want. Your credit card is in this folder."
Shena stood from the armchair, put the paper on the desk and grabbed his collar.
"And you are telling me ALL THIS now?" her other fist engulfed itself in green flame. "SERIOUSLY? Why didn't you tell us earlier?"
"Our parents did all this to protect us and secure our future, i thought i was doing the same. And i don't think i did wrong by not telling you this when i first discovered it. Though i admit, it was wrong for me to hide it from you even after we got more or less stable life. I'm sorry Shena."
He was ready to take a punch full of burning green glow, but, to his surprise, the grasp on his collar weekend, letting him free.
"Shit!" Shena un-flamed her fist. "Where is the bathroom?"
"Second door to the left in a hallway."
With a speed of a bullet Shena followed the directions, and entered the bathroom. She turned on water in the sink, and started to clear up her face. Tears were appearing from the anger, her whole body shivered. She wanted to beat the hell out of her brother. But she couldn't.
'Come on. It's twins birthday. Calm down, for their sake. That's why he told me about it today, that…..! Argh! Calm…calm…i'm calm…'
Five minutes later she found her way back to the study room.
"The letter." she approached the desk. "Give it to me."
Herald handed her the letter quietly, watching as she read it. Shena recognized her Father's handwriting. In it, he described the events that Herald told her about, though they were more detailed in the letter and had several cuss words. After reading it, she sighed and gave it back to her brother.
"How much did you spend on us already?" she asked him.
"After buying this apartment. Approximately 19 million. 1 million left"
"Can you manage my account?"
"Yes, i have the rights…"
"Take 5 million from it, and transfer it to yours."
"I will not…"
"Just shut up and do it, understand?" she looked at him sternly.
"Yes." he answered shortly.
"Good, now let's get back to the twins. It's their day after all."
"Shena, wait." he took a plastic card from the folder and handed to her. "Take this, it's yours."
Shena took the credit card and left the room silently. Several seconds later she found her way to the twins' room. Unsurprisingly the game was already set, with Wegos on one side and Kim and Ron on the other.
"Hey!" Kim noticed her. "You finished talking?"
"Yeah." she shrugged her shoulders. "So, how is the game?"
"AWESOME!" twins shouted happily.
"They are kicking our bums." Ron commented. "We need your help!"
"Really?"
"Don't underestimate these rascals." Herald appeared behind his sister. "They are pretty smart for their age, needless to say the teamwork between them is remarkable."
"Oh, in that case." she cracked her fingers. "Let's play!"
After a quick explanation of basic rules, and creation of her own in-game piece, green camouflage robot, she entered the game. Boys were unarguably strong, but Team Possible wasn't going to give up so easily. Each one has its own style: twins had a strong teamwork, Shena chose aggressive way by constantly attacking Wegos' field, Kim on other hand wasn't so eager to engage in battles and kept building up their little base, and Ron did chaotic and unpredictable turns, which for the most of the time only hurt his character model, but the one that managed to work made a decent amount of damage.
They all made a little break when Hego brought them sliced cake and soda, but after that the game continued until late evening. Twins ended up victorious in the end.
In the Middle of the night Ron was wide awake. He was lying on a futon in the living room, while girls occupied guest room for night. And though he felt quite comfortable on it, he kept waking up every half hour. One little thing kept bothering him in a dream and in reality. How could it happen that ten random people didn't like his naco? After another failed attempted to get a good sleep, he stood up from the futon in order to find a kitchen, and get a glass of water.
To his surprise, somebody was already there. He entered lit kitchen quietly. Shena sat at the table with a glass of warm milk in her hands.
"Hey!" she noticed him. "Can't catch a sleep?"
"Yeah." he sat nearby. "I can't stop thinking about naco."
"Really?" Shena raised a brow.
"Yeah. I mean, why they didn't like it?"
"Well, not everyone has the same tastes."
"Yeah…maybe…" Ron sighed. "Anyway, why are you still up? It's like 4 a.m."
"Just some recent news bothering the hell out of me." she drank some milk. "You know what, i would not mind for some naco right now, or burrito."
"Well, i could make a naco if i had ingredients."
"Seriously?"
"Yes, i invented it after all." he shrugged off.
"Ok…wait what?"
"I created original recipe of naco."
"Get dressed, now!"
Shena smirked and went to the guest room. Trying not to wake sleeping Kim, she slowly dressed herself and went to the living room, where Ron waited her.
"Let's go."
"Wait where are we…woah…"
She dragged him out of the apartment, taking the keys from the bowl on the way.
"We in the center of the city, there must be a 24/7 nearby." she told him while they were waiting for elevator. "Let's try to find the ingredients there."
"But, what about money? I didn't take any with me."
"Don't worry, i have a credit card."
Even in the middle of the night streets of Go City were well lit from the streetlights and neon signs. Ron wasn't comfortable with idea of wandering around an unknown city at 4 a.m., but the fact that he can make some naco and that beside him walked the girl he liked made it much more tolerable.
"Say." Ron started the conversation again, while they were looking for a store. "What are those news that bothered you? I mean, you don't need to tell me if you don't want but…"
"Nah, i would like to, actually." she found it cute for some reason. "In short, i just learned that my grand-parents were rich, my brother kept the truth away from me, and that i have an account with tons of money on it."
"I know the feeling." Ron told without second thought.
"You do?" she smirked again.
"Not about your great-parents or brother obviously." he quickly corrected himself. "But about the money."
"Oh, really? How much?" she asked out of curiosity.
"Currently, 25 million."
"You're kidding?"
"Nah, seriously! I got royalties for every naco sold."
"Holy shit! So that's why you are so upset about all naco thing."
"No!" Ron gained unexpected confidence in his voice. "Even if i won't get anything from it, i would still be as mad about it! It's not money that important, but a marvelous taste of synthesis of nachos and taco!"
"Sorry, i didn't think you take them That serious."
"Well, i am!"
"Sorry. My account has 20 million on it at the moment, by the way."
"Pretty close, huh."
"Strange, i would never tell that you are rich by your looks."
"Yeah, my folks and i decided to keep our life on a more modest level."
"Why?" Shena asked immediately.
"Well, this is embracing to tell…" Ron sighed. "Initially the sum was 99 million dollars."
Shena's jaw dropped.
"It's gone now though." Ron continued. "When i first got the check with my number on it, i abused it, hard. Luxury, cars, peeps, blinks, i spend them without counting. But then, Drakken kidnapped me and stole it all. Looking back on myself, i was a total prick! After that me and My parents decided to not to risk again, and keep it humble."
'Kind of like my family' Shena thought.
"Thanks for sharing with me." she smiled to him.
"Always welcome, you have no idea how many more embracing stories i have."
Suddenly a bright neon sign caught Shena's eyes.
"Hey! It's 24/7!" she took his hand and dragged him towards the store.
7:30 am. Herald Go, lazily moving his feet towards the kitchen to get some coffee. As soon as he entered the room a very peculiar image caught his eye. Two teenagers were asleep, with their heads on the table.
"Kh-khm!" He cleared his throat loudly.
Both of them woke up from the sound. Ron felt the fear rising in his stomach as he noticed a big man looking at him sternly, Shena just felt annoyed.
"Care to explain?" Herald asked.
"Chill Herald." Shena said, yawning. "We just couldn't fall asleep, and decided to make some naco."
"What? Naco?" he was confused.
"Yeah, sir." Ron said with slight shiver in his voice. "I left you some in a fridge if you want."
"See, nothing criminal. Now get out of the way, i need bathroom."
Kim was up about a half-hour late. Hour after that, their ride appeared near the apartment. Herald and twins went outside to see her off. Shena hugged twins once again, and went inside the vehicle. When bus disappeared around the corner, Go family was going to get back to their apartment, but was stopped by a sound of a sports car, that stopped near them. A woman with a dark, shoulder-length, hair got out of the car, and went toward them, with a wide smile on her face.
"Hey boys! Is Shena still here?"
"Sorry Pam." Herald answered. "She already went back. She was here 5 minutes ago."
"Dang, i really wanted to meet her!" she sighed deeply. "You did at least told her about me, right?"
"Ehm…"
"No." Wendell said.
"He didn't." Wesley added.
"Oh boy." Pam shook her head. "What do you have to say in your defense, mister?"
"Uhm…" he desperately looked for an answer inside his head. "I have some naco, want some?"
