AN: Hey people! I know that this is pretty short and I apologize, but more shall be coming. Thank you to my bestie THENinjaHippie! If it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be back on track. Thanks to everyone who has reviewed and/or read my story so far. You guys rock & totally make my day! Also thank to Imagine Dragons for music that I write to.

A rain-like sound filled the girl's ears as she struggled to wake up. The murky, peaceful darkness didn't want to relinquish its hold on her just yet. Finally winning the battle, the girl's eyelids tentatively twitched before starting to open.

Superboy paced up and down the kitchen. Robin had disappeared into the air vents. Meghan was absentmindedly flipping through a cookbook while avoiding Superboy's path. Wally had started to vibrate in his chair next to Artemis, who was currently giving him her patented death glare. Kaldur was also perched on a chair, by far the most composed of them. All were wondering who the mystery girl was, what she was doing in that field, and if she was going to survive.

As she jerked upright, the girl's large green eyes showed a flash of panic and fear before shutting off. Her face was composed and looked calm enough to any possible observers. The inside of the girl's mind was filled with questions. Where am I? Did THEY catch me? If THEY captured me, then why am I being cared for? Maybe it's another test or trick or sick game to play with my mind. Time will tell. Looking down, the girl realized that there was an IV line leading into her arm. She carefully extracted the needle and cast the offending object aside. With that disturbance taken care of, the girl continued to survey her surroundings.

Alarms blared, cutting through the silence and alerting the team that their "mystery girl" had awoken.

All the girl could see was sterile hospital white with a few pieces of contrasting shining grey metal. The room smelled strongly of antiseptics, the girl thought, wrinkling up her dainty nose. Her lithe body tensed. People were coming. The time had come to determine whether she was among friend or foe.

AN: I believe that I have an obsession with cliffhangers. Maybe I need an intervention...Nah! I like being slightly evil. You know my older sister wanted to join the angry mob when she found out about it. There were threats of getting pointy sticks! I had to use my forget-me stick...I mean I calmly talked her down! Also, I'm going on a vacation so sometime next week is probably the earliest you'll hear from me.
