Disclaimer & Authors note: I don't own anything Harry Potter related other than a shirt I bought. I'm really sorry I haven't been updating. Life has gotten really busy. This summer I had a job and it took up most of my time. And I started college this year and its pretty hard.

Chapter 7:

Rose was sitting on Dr. King's couch. Since being discharged from St. Mungo's, Rose was required to see a psychologist once a week. She didn't particularly enjoy seeing Dr. King. She felt like it was a waste of time and that he didn't help very much. She didn't want to die anymore but she didn't want to solve her family problems either. Rose felt that it wasn't her responsibility to solve the relationships with her family, after all Rose didn't do anything to deserve it.

"Now Rose, how are you feeling? Has there been anything new with your family or anything of that nature?" Dr. King asked.

Rose thought for a second. "I'm feeling okay. I've been living with the Zabini's. I felt that it would be a better option since I know they actually care." Rose replied.

Dr. King made a sound while jotting down notes in his notebook. "That's interesting. What was your family's thoughts on your living situation? Do they visit or send owls?" He asked.

Rose thought back to her family's thoughts on where she was living. They were pretty mad when she told them at the hospital. Especially her father.

Flashback:

"Rose I am not letting you live with the Zabini's! I do not approve of them—" Ron said before Rose interrupted him.

Rose was fuming. "Why dad, because they were in Slytherin? Well I'm a Slytherin and I know you don't approve of me. And I don't care if you don't approve. I'm of age and I don't have to listen to you!" Rose yelled. She was getting discharged from St. Mungo's and she was leaving with the Zabini's. In fact they where arriving momentarily.

Hermione was about to say something when the door burst open. There stood Pandora and Mr. and Mrs. Zabini. All three of them walked past Rose's parents and embraced Rose in a tight hug.

"Rosie sweetheart, we're here now. Don't worry." Mrs. Zabini said lovingly. Rose felt herself tearing up. She looked up and saw her parent's faces. It was a mixture of shock, anger, and sadness.

"Zabini get away from my daughter." Ron said. He was mad.

"All due respect Mr. Weasley, I don't give a rats ass what you say. We are taking Rosie home. She needs a loving and safe home. Rose has been coming to my house for years and we have been more of a family to her than you and your wife have been. My wife and I have supported her and loved her as if she was our own." Mr. Zabini replied with anger and passion in his voice.

Rose looked at Mr. Zabini. She felt very emotional at the moment and what he just said tugged at her heartstrings. She looked at her parents. Her dad's face was full of anger but now mostly shock and a mix of intense sadness. Her mother was crying. Rose almost felt bad. Almost.

"Ron, lets just let her go. She needs them." Her mother said with a cracked voice. Rose looked shocked and thankful.

"Fine." Ron replied and walked out the door. Hermione looked at Rose and mouthed an apology and followed her husband.

End of Flashback

Rose snapped back to the present. "They were mad but they let me do it. I've been happier because of it. They haven't visited but they send me letters a lot. My other family members send me letters too. I don't reply though." Rose replied to Dr. King's question.

"I see. Do you not reply because your hurt or because you want to hurt them like they hurt you?" He asked.

"I ignore their letters because I don't really have anything to say. And maybe I might want them to see how it was like for me for all those years." Rose said.

"Hmm. Interesting. Well Rose that was good. I will see you next week." Dr. King said.

Rose nodded and picked up her purse and left. She entered the waiting room and saw that Pandora was there. Rose instantly smiled.

"Hey Rose. Lets go home." Pandora said. Rose nodded and they appariated to the Zabini's estate. The feeling always made Rose felt like she was being squeezed very tightly but it was the fastest way to travel. They landed in the Zabini's family room. But what really surprised Rose was the appearance of a boy.

It was Leo Zabini. He was Pandora's older brother. Rose always had a small crush on him. He looked older but what got her was that his face looked worried and sad.

"Rosie. My god, I just heard about the accident. I'm so sorry!" Leo said. He embraced her right away. She was instantly comforted by his warm and strong body.

"Thanks Leo. I didn't know you were going to be here." Rose said. Leo looked at her.

"Rosie, I had to come. You are one of the best people I know. I didn't know you were hurting that much. If I knew, I would have stopped it." Leo said. Rose blushed and stepped away.

"Thanks Leo. But you couldn't have stopped it. It was a cry for help and I got some." Rose said. Pandora put her arms around Rose and was about to speak when the sound of a doorbell went off.

"I wonder who it is. Lets go and see." Pandora said. Leo and Rose nodded. They all walked towards the front door. But what stood in front of them was surprising.

It was Scorpius. And suddenly, Leo walked up to him and punched him in the face.
