Chapter 32: Special, Kurara in Wonderland

Huh? Where am I? When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a large garden under a tall tree. Just where am I, the last I remembered, I was reading a book back in class. Then… a white rabbit appeared out of nowhere in front of me. "Whoa! Where did you come from?" I softly asked as I reached out for the ball of fluff. But it darted back and hopped away. Without thinking, I ran after it and then, I don't know where but it took out a small phone and took a picture of me…A RABBIT IS USING A PHONE AND TAKING A PICTURE! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! In a flash it started to hop away again. "Wait! How are you able to use a…."

"Waaaahhh!" I suddenly felt myself being pulled by gravity as I fell into a deep hole. Thud! I soon landed with a loud thud. "Ow, what the heck was that?! But all this seems familiar." As I thought, I saw a small door. Did that rabbit go in there? How am I gonna get in there? I looked around then noticed a table where a vial containing a rainbow colored liquid was placed. There was a paper tag which said 'Drink Me' attached to the cork. Should I? Why not. I then drank all of the liquid, which tasted like strawberry milk and suddenly, I felt the whole place starting to get bigger. That was when I realized, I shrunk. Great now I can get in…One problem…I need a key. I looked up and saw the key suddenly appear on the table. As I was walking to the table legs, attempting to climb all the way up, I spotted a pink cupcake lying beneath the table with the words 'Eat Me' written on the plate with strawberry sauce. What have I got to loose. Besides, I missed breakfast. I took in the whole cupcake and as I expected, I grew. I took the golden key then realized, I was too big to fit into the door. Is this someone's idea of a joke?! I then started crying of frustration and soon, my tears somehow created a flood and I was soon carried off in the flood of my tears. I desperately swam to get to shore and by the time I did, I was soaking wet. As I was trying my best to avoid the cold water all over me, I turned and saw…Rika in a dodo suit?! (If you forgot her, she's from my club) I think we spent ten seconds staring at each other, me in shock. Soon the Dodo raised a wing which I think meant she was greeting me, hard to say since she's always keeping her mouth shut. And then soon it, led to a bathtub, cleaned, dried and ironed my dress, prepared me a fruit drink when I came out and then put my dress on and fixed my hair until I was back to normal again.

"Uh…Thanks." I said, kind off stunned at how prepared she was, like she expected me to drift up here. For some reason, I took out a phone and snapped a photo of Rika in the dodo suit and she soon flew, you heard me 'flew' away. Then I realized that it was the camera the rabbit used. "What's this doing here? Maybe I should give this back to that rabbit. Perhaps it can tell me how to get out of here." After that I started walking through the forest, I saw a very laid back caterpillar lying on the ground and puffing on a hookah. "Urahara sensei?!" Yes, he was wearing a suit with stripes of different shades of green. Getting out of my shock, I took the chance and asked if he knew where the rabbit lives. And he did so I walked off but… "Gah!" That man tripped me with his leg making me drop to the ground. "What was that for?!" I exclaimed.

"Forgive me, but do you remember the drink and cake you took a while earlier. Well I made them and I like your impressions." He asked. When I answered him, he started asking more, my opinions on the color, taste, smell, how it felt going down, how long for the effects to appear, any side effects and how to improve them. I don't really care! Luckily I was able to escape and soon found a cute little house.

"This must be it. Uhm excuse me?" I asked and knocked on the door. In seconds it opened and I was even more shocked. The one who opened the door wasn't a rabbit but a boy. He wore a pearl color tux top and beige pants, a chain wrapped around his shoulders and held a large watch and white rabbit ears appeared on his white hair. I think you guessed who this is. Yes, it's Hitsugaya Toshiro, shockingly.

"Who are you?" he asked. What? He doesn't know who I am?"

"Uhm I'm Kurara. This phone is yours right?" I asked, holding out the phone.

"Oh yeah. Thank you." He took back the phone and for some reason stared at the screen. "I don't remember this." He said as he showed me the picture of the dodo.

"Oh yeah, well I kinda took it by accident." I apologized.

"It doesn't matter. Do you want to come in?" he asked.

"Huh uh, are you sure?" I asked back.

"If I wasn't sure, I wouldn't have asked you." He shot back. Perceptive as always. So I took the invitation and walked in, realizing that there was another person in there.

"Wonderland couple race? Wonderland cake making competition? Wonderland…Wonderland…" that girl in a purple gown, walking to and fro was Kasandora. "Oh you're back Shiro White." Shiro White, that's his name? Wait, doesn't that mean 'white white'? "And who's this?"

"She came to return me back my phone. Her name's Kurara." He answered.

"I see. Then…today's event will be 'Wonderland Kurara appreciation day'!" Kasandora proclaimed excitedly.

"Huh? What?!" I stammered.

"Oh don't be shy!" Suddenly I felt a heavy weight crash behind me. I turned around and saw Ayame in a fluffy pink dress grabbing onto my back. "We'll have a big party, with cake, streamers and giant balloons!" she cried out in glee and she continued to do so until I thought my ears were bleeding. And soon…

BAM! The door suddenly broke and flew off its hinges. There standing there was a girl with her right leg high in the air.

"Excuse me. Chappy Hare has entered." Rukia proclaimed as she stood outside the door. Chappy hare?! Isn't it suppose to be the March hare? But well, this is Rukia. "I've come here because there's someone screaming so loudly." Rukia said angrily and an audible gulp could be heard from Ayame. "So it was you! Well thanks to you, we can't enjoy our tea party. We can practically hear you all the way from the forest. Right dormouse?"

"Uhm, Hana…I mean dormouse?" I asked, looking at Hanataro sleeping on the floor in his giant mouse costume.

"Oh nevermind." Rukia grumbled.

"Redundant." We all turned towards Hitsugaya who all the time was just standing away from us, watching all the commotion going on in his house.

"Huh?" Rukia now turned to Hitsugaya.

"Having two rabbits here." Hitsugaya answered.

"Yeah you're right." Rukia said softly. "This place only has space for one rabbit."

"Yeah you're right. Then why don't you be a hippo?" Hitsugaya snarled.

"I think am ice elf suits you better. After all you're known for being cold and small." Rukia commented. She didn't just say what I think she just said?! I could see tick marks forming one by one on Hitsugaya's forehead.

"Ok, now you've done it. You and me, on the field!" Hitsugaya declared as he brought out a white wooden sword, who knows where he took it from.

"Yeah let's do it." Rukia accepted the challenge and summoned a white snowy staff.

"Ah! You two stop it! Kasandora, do something!" I cried out.

"Alright! The Wonderland rabbit championships will start now! Who will be taking home the title of Wonderland's rabbit?" Kasandora cried out excitedly into a mic.

"Eh?! Doormouse stop them!" But he was still sleeping in the corner. "Ah, Ayame." But she was just sitting on the table, eating popcorn while watching the fight. How did it end up like this?! I started to slowly step back when my back hit something.

"So there's where you were, Chappy Hare." That voice, it can't be. I looked up and saw Kuchiki sensei wearing a red and black top hat.

"Big brother! You came." Rukia stopped in an instant seeing Kuchiki sensei. He was wearing a long black coat with gold on the edges over a white shirt, checkered red and white pants, black shoes, white gloves and holding a long cane.

"Mad hatter, nice to see you here." Kasandora greeted. Mad hatter?! Kuchiki sensei is the last person I would think of who would play this role! Plus, he really isn't playing the part, he's more calm than mad.

"Chappy Hare, didn't you say you would come back immediately once you found the source of the sound. Why is it that I find you here battling Shiro White?" Kuchiki sensei interrogated as Rukia hung her head down in shame. "Gosh, and I thought that moving further in the forest would stop their useless fights." He muttered then looked down at me. "And who are you?"

"My name's Kurara. I kinda came here by accident." I answered.

"I see. I suggest that you leave, it's useless for you to stay here. You can take the path. It'll probably take you to town." He said.

"Uh thank you." I said before leaving the place. Yup, definitely not the mad hatter. Anyways I continued walking then saw two people standing at a T-zone of the path. It was Yuzu and Karin.

"I'm Tweedle Yu and she's Tweedle Ka. Nice to meet you." Yuzu greeted and they both bowed in greeting. Tweedle Yu? Tweedle Ka? Seriously…

"Uhm, do you know how to get out of here?" I asked. Then they pointed at different directions and soon argued about other things, all ending being opposite from each other. Cat vs dog, bottle vs can, skirt vs pants, they even complained about which style of being nak…forget I said that. I soon walked away, but then started feeling hungry and at that moment.

"Why hello there." I then saw Orihime in a pink dress with floppy sleeves which made it look like flippers and Ishida who wore a blue chef outfit with a dark blue cap. "I see your hungry. We have some extra bentos. Will you like some?" I was too hungry and nodded, forgetting the horror of Orihime's food. Then she placed the bento in front of me.

"Uhm…What's that?" I asked, pointing at the black stuff which looked like charcoal.

"Chicken kaarage." Ishida answered.

"I wanted to do it differently, so I used black sugar and lubricant oil." Orihima answered cheerfully. Eh?!

"Then what about this?" I pointed to a bunch of green noodles.

"Yakisoba." Ishida answered again.

"I used mint gum to make them so that they'll taste refreshing and chewy." Orihime answered just as cheerfully as before. What?!

"Then this?" I then pointed to the large brown hemisphere.

"Steak." Ishida said.

"What meat did you use?" Silence… "Say something, PLEASE!" I cried out desperately.

"It's a secret." Orihime answered. I was stunned by the strange and horrific combination. I was too scared to even ask about the gyoza which filling has been moving around since the start.

"Uhm I think I'll pass. You're kindness really filled me so thanks for it. Bye!" I quickly made my escape. Then I heard a loud scream from where I was. I guess she made Ishida eat them on my behalf. Orihime's cooking is still the same, even here.

"Man. I want to go home!" I yelled out in exhaustion.

"Don't worry, I'm sure those shining knights in armor will come for you." I suddenly looked up and saw Grimmjow perched on a tree branch, wearing a suit with blue stripes of different shades, with two blue cat ears and a long tail. Kind of expected. When I was with him, he was usually called a cat. "I swear if you don't get rid of those overprotective boys, even insects won't be interested in you."

"Hey that's mean! Besides they're not that overprotective!" I complained but Grimmjow just ignored me. "Hey Grimmjow, do you know how to get to town?"

"Grimmjow? What kind of name is that? I'm called Chesire Cat. Besides, why not just stay here. Isn't this better than that other world you claim to be from." He retorted.

"Nah. I like my own world better. All my real friends are there after all." I answered.

"Hmph, guess there's no way for you to change your mind. Fine then, you go a little bit more from here and go to the forest behind the Heart Castle. There'll be someone waiting for you there." Those were his last words before disappearing. So I continued my way and reached the town and soon the castle which was made up of heart cards.

"What a cute girl." I saw Rangiku coming forward, wearing a red and white gown with heart patterns and a revealing top and golden crown. I also saw Gin following behind her with a white top and black bottom and black coat with pink hearts on the edges. "I've never seen you before." She said while fanning herself with a heart fan.

"Uhm…Rangiku, could I pass through the castle. I won't cause any trouble." I asked to the point, wanting to go home as soon as possible.

"I'm the Queen of Hearts. And if you want to pass through, you'll have to play a game of croquet with me. If you win, you can pass through, if I win, I'll cut off your head." She said happily with a swipe of her fan. EEEEHHH?! Rangiku how can you be this mean?!

"I'll take the challenge." Suddenly a large eel came towards us and Nel was up there wearing a green dress with a long end and green tiara, and behind her was Haribel in a dress of marine blue and a coral head band.

"The Green Queen!" Rangiku gasped. Seriously…

"I will play against you. In order to allow everyone to play croquet." Nel declared.

"Let everyone play that's preposterous! Croquet is only a game for the nobles." Rangiku argued.

"In that case." Soon, someone appeared out from the shadows and that someone was Ulqiorra.

"The Black King!" Nel exclaimed.

"If this useless feud will continue, I shall end it by taking over the world of croquet." Everyone gasped in horror while…

"Thank goodness. I actually escaped that." I sighed. Thanks to that fight, I was able to get through the castle and into the forest behind.

"Looks like you made it." I looked up and saw Hichigo in red armor on a black horse.

"Hichigo?! You're the one taking me back?" I was a little stunned at that.

"Yes, I've been waiting for a while for you to come. Let us be off, so the fun can start."

"Stop right there!" I turned around and now saw Ichigo in orange armor, riding a white horse towards us. "That Red knight is known for his playboy acts. You'll regret it if you go with him."

"Oh but you're just as annoying Orange knight." Hichigo commented. Orange knight? Ok whoever is making this is seriously changing everything in the original story! "I'm guessing you came here to fight for the lady."

"Yes, I won't let you have her!" Ichigo proclaimed. Ichigo… He then took out a large sword and pointed towards Hichigo.

"Guess I don't have a choice. Looks like you're ready to die." And with that, the sword battle started. It was ten minutes and they were still at it.

"Take this! Zangetsu!" Ichigo cried out and slashed the red knight with one powerful blast.

"No way!" and the impact made Hichigo fly into the sky. That was…so powerful…

"Now, let me bring you back home." Ichigo said as he held out his hand.

"Now hold it." I looked around and found Hitsugaya coming out from the forest. "I don't really think you're suitable for bringing her back. I brought her here so I'll be taking her back." Hitsugaya then reached his hand towards me.

"I don't think so." Now Kuchiki sensei turns up. "You two gave her nothing but trouble. I will take her back." Before I knew it, all three guys were holding out their hands for me. I had to pick one to go back home but which one. The orange kinight, the white rabbit or the calm hatter. I chose….

Somewhere else:

"Hey, how long has she been sleeping?" Ichigo asked as he looked at Kurara resting her head on the table.

"Well it was a long day. I guess she finally gave in." Rangiku commented.

"What's she reading? 'Alice in Wonderland'. Really?" Hitsugaya read the title of the book on the table.

"Well it's a classic. No wonder she slept." Rukia said. "Maybe we should let her rest a little longer." So they left her in her slumber, left her in Wonderland.
