Dani stepped out of her car, getting Abel out of the back. It was going to be Elijah's first day of work and she wanted to be there in the morning to help him get started. It felt good getting some more help. This way she could focus on raising Abel properly.

She had parked her car a little further away than normally, seeing as her usual parking spot had already been taking by a flashy Mercedes.

When she focused her eyes in front of her, Dani noticed that there was a different store in one of the units on the street. It looked like it was ready to open soon. She shook her head. How could she have missed a new store opening on her street? Usually she would be the first one to find out about any changes, yet she had completely missed this.

Dani raised her gaze to read the sign. A cigar shop? She wasn't an expert on running a business, but even Dani could see that Charming wasn't exactly the right target audience for a specialist store like this.

There seemed to be no one inside the store, so Dani focused on the pavement ahead of her and continued making her way over to her own café. She figured the person owning the shop would introduce themselves to her sooner or later.

Elijah was already waiting for her in front of the café.

"You're early!" Dani smiled. She was glad he was early, as it was often an indication of a good work ethic.

"Yeah," Elijah nodded. "Better early than late, right?"

Dani nodded. "Definitely. Can you hold Abel for a moment? I'll get you a fresh apron from the back."

She handed Elijah the baby once they were inside and quickly shuffled to the back to fetch him some company clothing he was going to need.

"Darren will be here soon to help you out," she spoke once she got back. Dani took over Abel again and handed him the clothes.

"Great," Elijah said, looking around the café, a soft smile on his lips.

Dani was expected to make an appearance at the clubhouse that same night. It was finally the day Bobby got out of jail, and of course that couldn't go without a large party to celebrate him being back. She wondered what the atmosphere was going to be like, the funeral still fresh in her mind, but she decided to not let her own mood affect it. Beside, the guys deserved some positivity for once.

Jax was going to meet her there, so Gemma had offered her to give her a lift, which she gladly accepted as she was lusting for a pint of beer. Neeta, her baby sitter, had come in to take care of Abel. It would be the first night since forever that Jax and her had the night to themselves, and Dani almost felt guilty to think that she was looking forward to it.

There was no question that she loved the baby to death, yet a night off sometimes wouldn't go amiss. Raising a baby was harder work than the café had ever been, but she was adjusting well.

"You ready sweetheart?" Gemma spoke. She was still seated in the car as Dani was coming outside. "Neeta got the baby?"

Dani nodded. "Yeah, everything should be fine."

She opened the car door and slid down on the seat next to Gemma, placing her bag on her lap.

"I saw you hired a new employee?" Gemma spoke. She turned the steering wheel and drove off.

"Yeah, Elijah. Needed someone else after the Lana thing," Dani replied. She still found it difficult to talk about Lana after finding out Clay blackmailed her. There were so many secrets lately and she hoped she didn't need to keep any more of them.

"You better keep an eye out on him," Gemma spoke. "I heard him talking about you to Darren."

"What did you he say?" Dani said, turning her head to Gemma. This was definitely interesting.

"He said you were hot," she replied.

"That's all?" Dani laughed. "I thought he said something bad."

"You're not mad?" Gemma replied. "You're not afraid he'll make a move on you?"

"Jesus Christ, Gem. He said I was hot, he's not obsessed with me. Besides, he knows I'm with Jax, if he's smart he wouldn't dare to make a move."

When she spotted Jax smoking a cigarette outside, Dani quickly got out of the car, ignored Gemma, and made her way over to him.

"Hey babe," Jax said, when he laid his eyes on her. He put out his cigarette and stood up to embrace her in a hug before giving her a kiss.

"I missed you so much," Dani whispered. Lately they were spending more time apart than together. Some stuff with the club was taking much of Jax's time and it was only now that she realized how much she was longing for him.

"Missed you too, babe," Jax replied, a soft smile playing on his lips.

A car appeared at the end of the lot. A large uproar followed and Dani figured that it had to be Bobby. A smile appeared on her face as she couldn't help but feel really happy to see the guys all come together like this.

"There he is," Jax spoke. He removed his hands from her waist and moved towards the car which came to a halt in front of them.

Dani remained behind, Gemma standing next to her. Her eyes followed the guys closely as they all embraced Bobby in a hug, telling him how glad they were he was back.

"Welcome back, Bobby," Dani said with a smile, when it was finally her turn to talk to him. She gave him a hug before he was shipped off inside by Chibs and Tig.

"Come on, let's enjoy this party," Jax said with a mischievous smile on his face, as he softly pressed his hand on the small of her back to lead her inside.

Dani couldn't remember the last time she had enjoyed herself so much. Even though the CaraCara girls were also present, they didn't pay any attention to her but most of all, they kept their hands off Jax.

"When are you going to patch Half-Sack in?" Dani asked. She was seated on Jax's lap, enjoying maybe one beer too many. Her eyes were focused on the prospect working the bar. It had been some time since he first started prospecting. She didn't exactly know what the requirements of patching in were, but she trusted him, plus he had certainly paid his dues.

"Why?" Jax laughed. "You feel sorry for him?"

"Yeah!" Dani said. "Look at him! He's working his ass off."

Jax turned his head to see. Dani looked too, but her eyes fell on a spot on the side of his neck. It look like dirt, but when her eyes focused, she noticed it was definitely not dirt. Was that blood?

Her heart started to pound. Jax had been gone the entire day today. Something had happened, something bad.

"He is working hard, maybe we'll consider it," Jax told her, looking her in her eyes again.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" Dani whispered softly. "In the apartment?"

Jax frowned. "Yeah, sure."

Dani raised from his lap and waited until he too was standing to head over to the apartment, hoping it wouldn't be taken yet by two lovers.

"What's up?" Jax asked when they were inside, he sat down on the bed.

Dani softly closed the door behind her and locked it so no one could come in.

"There is dried up blood in your neck," she spoke, cutting right to the chase.

His hand shot up to the exact spot where she had seen the blood, trying to rub it off.

"What happened today, Jax?" Dani asked, slightly concerned. "I hope that isn't your blood?"

"It's not mine, babe," he replied. Jax patted next to him on the bed, asking her to sit down. Dani slowly sat down next to him. He took her hands into his, looking straight at her.

"You really wanna know?"

She nodded. "Tell me everything."

"Opie killed a Niner today," Jax started. "Retaliation for Donna."

Dani's heart stopped in her chest. A Niner? They killed a Niner for a murder they were not even involved in? She didn't know what to do. Opie killed someone innocent, someone who was there at the wrong place at the wrong time, like Donna. Did Clay really pick a random Niner as the murderer?

Her mind was running overtime. Was she supposed to tell him? Should she remain quiet? What was Clay going to do if she told him?

"Babe, you okay?" Jax asked concerned, his hand on her arm.

Dani shook her head, trying to get rid of her thoughts. "Yeah," she said, faking a smile. "Just trying to process this."

"I'm sorry," he said.

Dani sighed. "You don't have to be sorry, Jax. This had to happen. You did what was necessary."

She couldn't believe the lies coming out of her own mouth. The only upside to the whole story was that Opie was finally be able to close this chapter of his life, find some closure.

Jax nodded, leaning forward to give her a kiss.

"You gotta be more careful, though," Dani continued. "What if someone else saw the blood? What if Unser saw it? You're a father now, Jax."

"I know, babe. I know. I'll make sure it won't ever happen again."

"You better," she replied with a half smile, giving him another kiss.

"I need to tell you something as well."

Jax raised his eyebrows, indicting he was listening.

"Did you know about a new shop being opened up on Main Street?"

He shook his head. "No, why? You run into any problems?"

"No, not yet. It's just that the guys having around that place seem… interesting."

She wasn't sure how to put it. Dani had seen the guys heading in and out of the store, and her eyes were immediately drawn to the tattoos they were sporting. She had seen multiple swastika's and that was when she knew these were no ordinary citizens opening up a new business.

"I think they are part of the Nords. That's what they were called, right?" she continued. Jax had told her about this group of white supremacists before. "I saw their tattoos."

"I'll look into it tomorrow, this can't be good. Thanks for telling me, babe."

"You're welcome," Dani replied with a smile.

A/N: Part 2 of 7! Updating every day is going to be harder than I thought, lol. Anyway, I think it's clear we are now in season 2 with the Nords and stuff. I've been thinking about all the seasons and how I'm gonna follow them and I think I'm gonna follow the series storyline up and until season 4... After that Tara gets too heavily involved in the story to leave her out. Like for instance, I know season 7 is gonna be revenge Jax for what happened, so I can't really do that with Dani instead of Tara, unless... you know.

But anyway let's not go there! Please review and I'll see you tomorrow!
