Brenna couldn't keep the smile off of her face as she watched Greer walking down the aisle toward her. She never would have guessed when she met the girl that they would be standing here nearly 20 years later. When Greer finally was standing in front of her she took the girl's hands in her own. Greer's father stepped up and hugged Brenna.
"You take care of her from now on you hear?" He said his voice cracking with emotion and Brenna hugged him back tightly.
"Thank you." She whispered back and the man nodded. Turning back to Greer, Brenna took her hands and grinned at her as they finally met each other's eyes. "You are gorgeous."
"Not half as gorgeous as you are." Greer said and Brenna blushed.
"You know that is impossible right?"
"Liar." Greer smiled.
"You chose to marry it."
"If you two don't stop you could end up talking through the whole thing." April said leaning into them and Brenna smiled at her sister.
"It is our day, we should be able to do whatever we want." Brenna said back.
"Well you better pay attention to this part." April said back.
"Brenna, repeat after me." The justice said,
"Actually…" Brenna said looking at the man for permission to go on.
"Go ahead."
"Greer, we have been through so much together. Your parents banned us from seeing one another, you were there the whole time April was battling cancer for me, you made me do my stupid history homework even though I won that bet fair and square. You became the most important person in my life that wasn't already considered family, when I finally realized that I couldn't go another day without having you as part of my family. The day I asked you to be part of my family, to have a family with me one day and you said yes, I thought for sure I was going to pass out. Now here standing right here, in front of you, I just might again. I promise I won't though. I also promise forever you will be my only one, you will never be alone, we might fight but we can always agree to disagree. Today is the day that I become yours forever and I promise the world to you, because you are my world and I am honored you are marrying me." Brenna said causing tears to fall down Greer's face, she leaned forward and brushed them away with her thumbs.
"Brenna… Never have I met someone so stubborn." She said causing the room to laugh. "And the first time you said you loved me I realized that I would be it for you. That scared the hell out of me at first, then I remembered that there wasn't anything I didn't adore about you. That everything we had been through had made us so much stronger together and I was proud to say you were mine. Now I will always get to say that."
"Well that is much better than this." The man smiled, he looked between the two and smiled. "Unless anyone has any reason that these two should not be married?" He paused for a moment.
"Ah…" Beth chimed in, raising a finger and everyone looked at her, Greer looked worried, while Brenna looked like she was going to kill Beth. "Ha, just kidding." She smirked as everyone relaxed and the man chuckled.
"Then I am very happy to say, you may kiss the bride." He grinned and Brenna stepped up, wrapping a hand around the back of Greer's neck, pulling her down into a kiss. After was a tornado of photos being taken, people leaving and congratulating them. Once everything calmed down and Greer and Brenna along with their wedding party where in the limo heading over to the reception did Brenna actually breath and relax. Greer smiled at her, pulling their hands up she kisses the back of Brenna's hand.
"I am so happy." Greer said softly, the look Brenna gave her in return was clear, Brenna was just as happy, this feeling they shared would always be there.
