A/N: Hello! I have a new story for you. Might be a little more on the humorous Beast Boy side than anything else, but it should be fun. Hopefully. Also, feel free to review this story. I take good reviews, bad… ugly. Though I hope they aren't ugly. Anyway, on with the story.

Chapter 11
Arrows
ZING! "Beast Boy!" The man in question cracked an eye, and his green face paled as he beheld the horror he had just wrought. No manner of mercy could save him now. Raven glared at him, an arrow impaled an inch from her face. She turned to the left a little to examine the dark, green fletched arrow, with a very sharp and very deadly broad-head point affixed to the tip. She returned her angry glare to Beast Boy, who had lowered the simple long bow to his side and continued to watch her in horror, stumbling over his words, "I-I-I'm so sorry Raven. R-Really. I had no idea you were even coming up here."
The two were staring at each other from either side of the tower roof. A quiver of arrows lay on the tan tarmac beside him, and the long bow he clutched tightly in his left hand was engraved with very simple but ornate Oriental design. It had been a gift, from the Green Arrow. Beast Boy had mentioned wanting to try out some of his techniques, and after a few days of attempted training, the Arrow was called away on a mission, but not before giving Beast Boy a tool to continue his training.
That tool now seemed to be his downfall. Raven stepped cautiously away from the still quivering arrow and threw him a glance, "What are you doing?" He looked around, weighing his chances of diving off the roof, but the slight ahem from Raven brought his attention back to her, "Don't even think about it. A three hundred foot fall to the ocean below will not save you." Beast Boy swallowed heavily, "L-Look… Rae… I was just practicing! See, the Arrow got me this gift to use and practice while he was away! I just… didn't know you were coming up here." He looked at her sheepishly, "But I missed!" He pointed emphatically at the arrow, and she fixed a look back to the offending piece of weaponry, mumbling in a deadpan, "Barely." She turned back to him with a mischievous smirk, "It's probably good of you to be up here doing something other than wasting away your brain on the game-station."
Beast Boy grinned, "I know! See! I knew there was a positive side to this… incident." Raven nodded, smirking at his choice of words and the adorable look he was giving her, "Perhaps a little more training would be helpful. I know a few things about archery." Beast Boy's grin widened as she glided over to him, using her powers to extract the arrow from the brick and bring it back over.
Three hours later
"Yo! BB! Raven! Y'all up he- ZING! - What the hell was that?!" Beast Boy and Raven fixed their cybernetic friend with apologetic and sheepish glances, though Beast Boy's quickly turned to one of frustration, "Why can't anyone just announce they're coming up before they get to the door? Seriously!" Cyborg reached up and plucked the arrow from the wall above his head, "BB! After all we've been through together? You're gonna write me off just like that, man?" He turned to his green friend, his face incredulous, "And I made your stinkin' tofu this morning to think of it!" Raven rolled her eyes and wandered past Cyborg, dragging Beast Boy with her, "You'll get over it. Come on Beast Boy… the training room is probably safer… and we can be alone there." Beast Boy smirked at his robotic friend as they wandered past, "Catch ya' later Cy!"
Cyborg was left standing alone on the roof, before a thought made him pause as he half turned back to the now empty stairwell, "Wait… did she just… alone?"
A/N: Well, that was interesting wasn't it? I sometimes wonder where these ideas come from. I've been wanting to integrate more characters into these little shorts, but I don't feel as enough of the information I have on them is accurate. Which just means it's now research time. I'll get back to that later. Also, I'd love to thank all of you that have subscribed and favorited this little endeavor of mine. It really means a lot to me that you're supporting me and this story. I'm working hard to come up with new ideas and new plots. For now, enjoy this little chapter and hopefully I'll be back with more! :D
