Hello everyone! Good news is I will be continuing this story. Expect to see more chapters in the next few weeks to come! I have been doing a lot of thinking and really want to write more about these kiddo's lives, because re-reading this I realized how much I missed these little guys. Once again, any kind of suggestion you leave for me in a review will be read and very much taken seriously! Thank you for reading! :)

James still felt his mind reeling as he wandered alone throughout the house, his twin brothers had gone who-knows-where. He almost didn't want to believe everything that his parents had explained to him. Henry? Tall, mischievous, big-mouthed, yet gold-hearted Henry had been Lucifer's successor? He felt sick just thinking about it again. He felt his stomach swirl a little bit and his face got a little pale.

Cas and Dean had told him everything- what it took to have Cas's chest have those three thick, jagged scars, and the bare basics behind angelic conception, but the worst part was hearing all about what had happened to them in the alternate timeline they had come from, what Henry had done for him. It scared him.

James moved toward them as he heard voices; he peered into the living room, where Sam and Gabriel were talking with just Henry. The two of them were sitting with him across from them, and James had a clear view of his cousin's face, even though he could only see the backs of Sam and Gabriel's heads.

Henry had an uncharacteristic scowl on his face, as he nodded somberly as the two of his parents talked in low mumbles. Henry looked scared shitless- his cheeks were palid, his eyes kept sliding off to the side and his eyelids would flutter down so that his lashes brushed his cheeks, his head bowing slightly in shame.

"Hey." Jess and her brother JC hissed at James, interrupting his train of thought. They were also eavesdropping just a few feet away from where he was. "Don't give us away, okay?" JC shot him a tricky grin.

James smiled weakly and hid along with them, listening to Henry as he sighed, slouching a little in the chair. Gabriel put his hand on his shoulder. James strained his ears to try and hear what was happening.

"I really...I really did that?" Henry asked in disbelief, he looked scared and confused. He wrung his hands in his lap. "Does that mean that I'm..."

"Not here." Gabriel instantly replied, interupting him. "You and Lucifer are no longer linked."

Henry breathed out a sigh of relief. "Good." He said curtly, clearing not wanting to talk about this anymore. He stood up, shoving his hands deep into his pockets of his coat. "Thanks for telling me. I guess. We're done here, right?" He asked, clearly just wanting to get away.

Sam and Gabriel exchanged glances. Gabriel shrugged. "Yes. Unless you have any questions?"

"Nope." Henry bit his teeth together.

"And JC, Jess, you two can come out now." He said gruffly, peeved, as he went out the front door and slammed it behind him.

The younger sister and brother exchanged guilty glances, Jess put a finger over her mouth as her and the redhead scurried away. James ran as fast as he could through the living room, squeaking out a quick 'sorry!' as he interrupted Gabriel and Sam who has started to make out. He quickly wrenched the door open and went to follow his cousin.

"Henry!" He called out to his cousin's broad-shouldered back as his cousin took long, angry strides down their gravel and dirt driveway. He showed no signs of slowing down.

James sprinted after him, letting the cold air pinch his cheeks as he stretched his legs and tried to catch up as fast as he could. "Henry, dammit, wait!"

The figure finally stopped. Henry spun around, a defeated sagging in his shoulders as he faced James with a weary expression on his usually lively face. His brunette hair had wild, slightly curly flyaways around his cheeks, and his lips were set in an angry line.

James puffed and came to a stop in front of him, frowning too and shoving his hands in his pockets. He tried to make himself look big and defiant, planting his feet firmly shoulder width apart and shoving his hands in the pockets of his jeans.

"What." Henry barked.

"Well? Are you okay?" James demanded, scolding himself for sounding like a mother.

Henry scoffed, a kind of pathetic laugh, and turned partly away. "Leave me alone, Jamie."

James redenned and reached out to grab Henry's arm. "Dude, you don't think this scares me too? They told me...they said it was because of me. Because I would have died if it weren't for Gabriel and he wasn't there, so you made that deal to save my life. Don't you think that fucking scares me too?" He demanded.

Next thing James knew he had his face pressed to soft, pungent flannel and his cousin's big arms were wrapped around his shoulders. James pressed his palms to Henry's back too, sighing as he finally let go.

"Thank Gramps it didn't happen like that this time around." Henry still looked anxious, shoving his hands in his pockets once again. He bit his lower lip. "I'm sorry, I'm just...this is just damn terrifying to me."

"Yeah, I know. Me too," James scrubbed the back of his head with his palm. "Just don't shut me out, Henry. Please."

Henry shrugged and his hands fell with a slight smack at his sides. "Sorry, kiddo." He blinked sadly and lowered his eyes to his shoes. "Do the twins know, too?"

James pressed his lips together and nodded, shoving his hands back into his pockets. "I mean, we're a family. Once the secret's out it's out for everyone."

"Yeah. Ain't many secrets around here." Henry smiled sadly at James. "You know, I can't believe we did all that. Killed two knights of hell all on our own."

James's lips finally quirked upward into a grin. "Badass, right?"

Henry seemed to relax as he smiled back. "Exactly what I was thinking. I mean, hell, even if it was us from an obsolete dimension it was still us, right?"

"Yeah." James agreed. "We are a couple of badasses."

"Hell yeah we are," Henry huffed out a laugh. "And there's nothing more badass than being satanic."

James tried very hard to hold back his grin as he punched Henry hard on the shoulder. "Dude, that's not funny, okay?!"

"C'mon, you thought it was funny." Henry taunted. "Anyway, all this talk of Lucifer is making me hungry. And I gotta get away from the 'rents for a little while and just... get my mind off of things. Want to come hit up the candy shop with me?"

"Only it's the one with that pie bakery next door." James grinned.

"You are your father's kid." Henry nudged his shoulder with his as they two began walking side-by-side down the driveway.

"Look who's talking!"

"Alright, alright." Henry then stopped and offered his slightly bent arm out for James to latch his arm around. "And no turbulence when we fly out this time, okay?"

"You're always the one who's causing it and you know it!" James rolled his laughing blue eyes.

"I have six wings and you have two. It's not rocket science to figure out who the better flier is here, Jimmy."

"Oh, you can take those six wings of yours and shove them up your a-!"

The two of them disappeared with a quick whirlwind that rustled a few of the dead brown leaves that were littering the driveway.

And James found out the hard way that yelling "ass!" into a candy store full of small children and their parents was not exactly the best way to go.
