Hello again! It's been quite a long time, but I am back! It has been a busy busy year and I hope you'll all forgive me! Amongst the crazy, some new ideas have been brewing so here they are! I don't own anything pertaining to The Sound of Music.
There's just a little bit of sexual mention, but nothing explicit.
10:32.
In less than a half an hour, a car would arrive to take Maria and Georg to the train station, thus bringing their honeymoon to a close. It was bittersweet, really. They missed the children and home terribly, and couldn't wait to begin their daily lives together, but the thought of not having the option of lying in their suite all day was daunting.
Georg was finishing dressing in the bedroom while Maria drank her coffee and checked to make sure her belongings were in order. Her trunk - the colossal piece of luggage stared at Maria. She could not bear the thought of looking through the bulk of her packing once more, which was mainly only clothes and her accessories.
Another small suitcase stood next to it. Maria went over and bent down to open it, making sure the contents were in order. Mainly filled to the rim with souvenirs for the children, Maria smiled down at something going back with them that would belong to someone yet to be known.
"Oh, Georg, I don't think there's much in here for Gretl. Everything is for babies and smaller children." Maria tried to make it seem like she thought they should leave, but she couldn't help but linger around certain teeny shoes and blankets for a few extra moments.
"I suppose that's true. What about an animal or something?"
"She has thousands besides the ones we've already gotten her here!" Maria said with a chuckle while hugging Georg to her. Her laugh faded when she caught sight of a tiny, white pair of satin shoes.
"Hard to believe anyone could ever fit into those, isn't it darling?"
Maria made a little noncommittal noise in agreement and reached out to pick them up. "I find it hard to believe a fine, brave commander of the seas ever fit into these," Maria said, looking up at Georg quizzically.
"Believe it, my darling, these little things are filled and patter around incessantly." Georg examined the shoes in Maria's hands and grasped her hands in his. "They can even match junior Navy uniforms or postulant dresses."
"Oh!" Maria laughed and hit Georg's chest playfully. "We'll have to come back someday for these! Look at the gold on the edge!" Maria was clearly enthralled, for some reason, with them and was dreamily looking at each detail of the shoe in the palm of her hand.
"Why wait?"
"Georg. Surely, we can't. That's jumping way ahead of ourselves. I don't think it's very wise…"
"I won't hear it, Maria. You love them, I can tell you do. And I love you and know we will have a baby someday. So, we'll get them and be on our way."
Tears welled up in Maria's eyes, but she followed suit and walked to the cashier with Georg. Something told her that this was right, and she was excited. Not only to buy them, but to fill them. It humbled her to know that Georg, a man with seven children of his own, felt the same.
Maria sat, holding the shoes for a moment more, before putting them back. She heard Georg shuffling in and saying, "Darling, you left this box in there."
She looked up to see a hat box pointed towards her. "Oh no, Georg, you can leave that here. I could fit a few hats into a compartment of my trunk. But thank you." She lightly kissed his cheek, but he insisted.
"But there's something in it!"
"What? I was positive that I had gotten everything…" As she spoke, she sat and opened the box, which had another smaller jewelry box in it. "Georg!" Maria gasped, smirking at her hopeless romantic's attempts to woo the woman he was married to.
Maria opened the box, revealing a strand of beautiful, shining pearls. "Oh darling."
"These were my mothers," Georg began, as he took them out of the box and walked around Maria's chair to clasp them around her neck. "I had offered them to Agathe after Liesel was born and my mother had died, but she always wore the ones that were given to her as a girl. It would make me so very happy to see you wear them, my love."
Tears welled up in Maria's eyes, not knowing what to say. "Of course I will. They are perfect." She reached up to feel them resting against her collarbone. Georg knelt in front of her and kissed her hands. Maria reached down to cup his cheeks. "I love you, Georg. Thank you for every last thing over these past few weeks, which are over too soon." Her lips tenderly lingered on Georg's forehead until he tilted his head up to capture her lips in a piercing, promising kiss.
Georg pulled Maria up to stand and pressed her hips into his. "Maria?" He whispered.
"One last time," she whispered back, while Georg simultaneously lifted her up to wrap her legs around him and carry her to the bed. Laying her down on the edge, she scooted towards him to unbuckle his pants, slide them off, and fling his jacket towards the wall.
Georg lifted her skirt and slid her panties down her legs. Crawling atop her to join Maria on the bed, she began to unbutton his shirt expertly, and he did the same to her. When he was done, he reached to pleasure his wife momentarily before kneeling over her to join them together.
Their lovemaking was quick, yet savory, and both were determined to reach the peak together. Within minutes, Maria held onto Georg's hips tightly, pulling him into her further. Georg groaned and filled Maria, who clawed at his lower back and cried out, filled with emotion and love for her husband. They both buried their heads into the other's neck, sharing light kisses and promises of love.

Back to where they started.
The same house, the same routine, the path they walked the night he proposed, and the same bed they shared their first night as husband and wife.
Maria and Georg laid on their bed, allowing the afterglow of orgasm ebb away in the dark. What was really ebbing away was the first blissful stage of their marriage. Now, it was being replaced by something even more rare - comfort and pure love. Their lives truly began on this night, in that bed.
"How do you feel?" Georg finally whispered.
"At peace." Maria felt her husband look down at her. "This is where we belong. I couldn't be more comforted knowing that we will be here every day for the rest of our lives. I love you. Thank you for giving me all of this."
"I couldn't have described this feeling any better than that. I need to thank you for everything as well. You've made this home and my heart whole again and I couldn't have asked for a better gift. I love you too."
"Mmm," Maria hugged Georg tighter. "My Captain."
I hope you all liked it! More coming right up! :)
