Short first-acoustic-poem-in-forever is disappointingly short. Wait, what did I just say? Oh yes! Guys; this is actually an acoustic poem! (just like "permanent traces"). However, little hint-hint: the substratum is not in English... Well, not exactly. Partially. /span/strongstrong style="line-height: 115%;"span style="font-family: Gabriola;"Indonesian readers who are familiar with the lingo, however, will understand. Translation (to the best of my abilities) is provided at the end of the poem

Come Back

Forever is a long time to be alone.

Give it or take it.

A world of dismal, when your

Love hath faded to dust.

A swallow laments his lost;

Urn defiled, consumed by his host.

Pray my beloved: come back! Come back, I say!

Or I shall waste away.

Eternally cursed

To live life in dismay.

Galau = it literally means something analogous to catastrophe. Apparently it also refers to the somber state one is stereotypically expected to experience after breaking up with one's love.

Poet = ... Poet.
Galau poet = a poet who is experiencing the phenomenon "galau".

Dedicated to my visual arts teacher, who took to asking if I was a "galau poet" when I wrote the poem "roses are red; violets are blue; ... Is that the best you can do? Look-she left you. Boo hoo" on the chalkboard.
