In Times of Trouble
A Supernatural, Thor, Star Trek Crossover
"Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you aren't."
-Margaret Thatcher
The fighting had stopped; not instantaneously, but there was only so long Surtur could make the same short chopping motion before his army took notice. Loki ignored the cry of offense as he climbed out of the other Trickster's hold to perch on the winged man's shoulders. "What did you do?!"
The Fire Giant King stood towering, sword arm rising and lowering, an endless repeat. His face was twisted into pure rage and hate, but his eyes... fear. Confusion in ranks of ally and enemy alike, but with the Surtur disabled the... fire... seemed to go out of their would-be conquerors.
The man just shrugged, nearly topping Loki from his seat. "What? You act like you've never seen a fold in space-time before. They're my specialty." At Loki's expression of incredulity the short man grinned and buffed his nails against his flannel, preening as his wings fluffed. "Granted, I haven't made one with such a restricted time slot before - only 2.3 seconds - and in a such contained pocket of sub-space."
"Loki!" A big blond brother shouted, causing the two of them to turn and in odd synchronicity say, "Yeeeees?"
