Chapter Thirty – Epilogue, Part 4
Mystic Falls…
Amanda jumped around on the bed over her husband, giggling when he tried to get her to sit down. "Nope, nope, I'm too energetic!"
Brady sighed. "Amanda please, just sit still. You're making me nervous." He gently grabbed her arms. "Will you sit still for this?"
He then kissed her passionately. Amanda moaned and wrapped her arms around his neck as she settled down into his lap, her legs straddling either side of his muscled waist.
Brady growled playfully against her lips as he returned her kiss, running his hands all over her body. "You're so beautiful, Amanda. I'm so glad we're together again."
"I am too, my love," Amanda said as she parted her lips from his.
Brady kissed her neck, nibbling the skin with his teeth as he whispered, "So very beautiful."
Amanda moaned as her hands stroked over his sun-kissed shoulders and arms. "You're still the sexy man I fell in love with all those years ago," she said on a ragged breath.
Brady groaned as he felt her hands on his arms. He was falling more and more in love with her with every breath she drew. "I'm going to make love to you, Mandy," was the only thing he whispered before rolling them until she was on her back and he hovered above her.
Amanda panted as she felt Brady's hands on her body. Each caress only heightened her desire for him and she was glad that she'd done the cheer squad during high school as well as going to dance classes between that.
2 HOURS LATER…
Brady held Amanda close under the sheets as their bodies cooled down from the heat that had circulated between them. "That was amazing, Mandy."
Amanda smiled and kissed his chest, tasting the perspiration. "It was, wasn't it?"
"Do you remember the first time we kissed?" Brady asked as he kissed her forehead softly while letting a gentle caress to go up and down her arm.
Amanda smiled. "How could I forget? That was definitely the best day of my life."
"Mine too, Mandy," he said with a smile. "Let's see if I remember what happened before that took place…"
21 Years Earlier…
"Garrison, have you decided if you're actually going to make a move on the lovely cheer captain yet?" one of Brady's teammates asked him as they practiced.
Brady smiled at his teammate. "I have, but I'm biding my time. After all, I don't know if she's spoken for."
"She's not, trust me," his teammate replied. "She hasn't been spoken for since the Freshman Dance. At the time, she was dating Josh Tomlinson, the captain of the basketball team. Word is, he cheated on her the night of the dance and there was this big scene where she slapped the girl that he was cheating on her with. So, yeah, she's single."
Just then, the cheer squad came out of the high school gymnasium and gathered on the bleachers. Amanda was in the middle of their little crowd and Brady took immediate notice of how beautiful she was.
Amanda saw that someone was looking at her and when she looked in the direction of the field, she saw that it was Brady. She didn't have to guess why he was looking at her, because she already knew he had a crush on her. Although she didn't want to admit it out loud, she had a crush on him too.
She was thrown free of her impure thoughts when her co-captain nudged her. "Earth to Amanda…you're drooling again," Olivia James said with a giggle and a smirk.
Amanda looked at Olivia. "Oh, sorry about that, Olivia, I didn't realize I was drooling."
Olivia giggled again. "Go over there before I put a spark in your behind, Grant," she ordered, pushing Amanda in the direction of where Brady sat on the bench.
Amanda sighed and approached Brady. Taking a deep breath, she said to him, "Hey, sexy. I saw you looking at me before."
Brady looked up and gave her that heartbreaker's smile she loved so much. "Hey there, princess," he said as he stood up to his full height. "Yeah, I'd heard that you and Josh didn't last. What happened there? I thought you would have made it all the way through high school."
Amanda frowned and looked away. "So had I, Brady. But, things change," she whispered.
Brady gently took her chin and turned her face toward him. "Amanda, I promise that you'll never be hurt like that again. I won't do to you what Josh did to you."
She nodded as she looked up into his eyes while her hand came up to rest over his on her chin. "Do you know how important you are to me, Brady Garrison? You have become so, so very important to me over these past few years and I am proud to call you a friend and confidant," she whispered again.
Brady smiled at Amanda. "Just a friend, Amanda? I was hoping to be more than that."
Amanda was about to answer when Brady leaned in and kissed her softly but passionately. The cheer squad captain moaned quietly into the kiss before standing up on her tiptoes and wreathing her arms around his neck as he deepened the kiss.
After a few minutes, Amanda stepped back and looked into Brady's eyes. "That was even better than all of my fantasies."
Brady smiled. "I've fantasized about kissing you too."
She smiled back at him. "Well then, we're both even, aren't we?"
Brady nodded. "Yeah, I guess we are." He pulled her to him again and kissed her again.
Later…
During the final football game of the season at Mystic Falls High School, Amanda grinned as she waved her pom-poms to cheer Brady on, her grin growing when he lifted a fist in victory to her.
After the game was over, Amanda met Brady by his car, a smile on her face. "You did awesome out there, Brady. The Timber-wolves definitely deserved their victory."
"Well, I had my good luck charm standing on the sidelines cheering me on, so that was all the win I could ever want or need," Brady said with a grin as he pulled her to him and kissed her softly and passionately.
Amanda giggled. "Well, I'm honored to be your good luck charm."
Brady gave her another grin. "Well, that means a lot," he said, holding her close before letting her go so she could climb into his Mustang.
Amanda watched him get into the car. "So, where are we going to celebrate the victory?"
Brady smiled then replied, "Somewhere very special. You'll love it, I promise."
She grinned at him then snuggled close as he pulled out of the parking lot close to the football field.
Present Day…
Amanda smiled. "That night stood out as the best night of my life."
"Mine too," Brady said. "I wasn't lying when I said that you were my good luck charm, Mandy. I achieved a victory that night because you were on the sidelines, sending good vibes in my direction."
"Am I still your good luck charm, Mr. Garrison?" Amanda asked after sitting up and bringing part of the sheet with her to cover up.
Brady smiled at her. "You are definitely my good luck charm, Mrs. Garrison. I couldn't ask for a better good luck charm than you."
"Well, since I'm still your good luck charm, how would you feel if I gave you a son to finally complete our family?" Amanda asked as she brought his hand to her still flat stomach.
Brady smiled at her as he felt her belly with his hand and kissed her. "I would think that would be the greatest gift you could ever give me, Amanda."
Amanda giggled and returned his kiss. "I love you, Brady."
Meanwhile…
Nichole was working on some things for Savannah and Xavier's scrapbook that she planned to give to them once they returned to their honeymoon.
As she looked through some old photos, Nichole felt tears welling up in her eyes when she saw a picture of and Savannah when they were younger. Those were such wonderful times and Nichole could hardly believe that time went by so fast.
T.J. came in from the practice he'd been at and noticed his fiancé crying. "Nikki, what's the matter?" he asked with a gentle smile at her as he knelt beside her.
Nichole looked at T.J. "I'm okay, T.J. I'm just going through some old photos so that I can put them in a scrap book for Savannah and Xavier. I came upon this picture of us when we were children and I just got sentimental."
He leaned up to look at the picture, smiling when he saw which one she'd been referring to. "That was the day we all first started spending time together. So much fun," he said as he reached out and stroked Nichole's cheek softly.
Nichole nodded. "Yes, that was the best day of my life."
"It was mine too." Easing Nichole to her feet, T.J. leaned down to kiss her softly. "I love you, Nichole Philadelphia Garrison."
Nichole smiled and returned his kiss. "I love you too, T.J. Lockwood."
Elsewhere…
Savannah squealed with laughter as Xavier chased her into the surf at the beach where they were on their honeymoon.
Xavier laughed as he continued to chase his new wife, catching up to her and grabbing her from behind, spinning her around as the waves crashed around them, enjoying the moment between them. He couldn't have been happier knowing that he had her as his wife.
"What's that smile for, Mr. Mikaelson?" she asked, plopping down next to him on the sand.
Xavier kissed her passionately. "I'm just happy knowing that you're my wife, Mrs. Mikaelson."
"I'm happy to be your wife too!" she said as she returned his kiss.
Xavier smiled and kissed her again, placing his hand on her belly, leaning down to kiss it. "I'm also happy that you're having my child."
"I'm happy too," Savannah said with a smile.
Xavier looked up at her and kissed her again. "I love you both so much. You're the most important things in my life and I will never abandon you."
Savannah smiled and returned the kiss. "Good, because we don't want you to go anywhere. And we love you too, Daddy," Savannah said with a warm smile.
Xavier smiled and kissed her again before standing and holding his hand out for her. "Come, Mrs. Mikaelson, let's go get some ice cream."
"I think you have ESP, because I was just thinking about that."
Her husband chuckled then swept her into his arms and carried her toward the beach house they were renting while on their honeymoon.
Savannah giggled as she was swept up into her husband's arms. She found that she liked when he did this and would definitely get used to being carried by the man she loved.
Meanwhile…
Sabrina lovingly rubbed her hands over her expanding belly then smiled up at her fiancé when he leaned to kiss her. "I love you, Wyatt Griffith," she told him.
Wyatt smiled and returned her kiss. "I love you too, Sabrina Mikaelson." He kissed her belly. "I love you too, little Griffith."
"He or she loves you too, Daddy," she said with another smile.
Wyatt kissed her again. "I'm so happy that you're marrying me, Sabrina. There's no one else I'd rather spend the rest of my life with than you."
"I know what you mean. I feel the same way. And with our baby on the way, we'll be blessed," Sabrina said as her hands framed his cheeks between them.
Wyatt nodded. "Yes, we will. It's just a shame that your parents won't get to meet their grandchild."
Sabrina nodded as well. "I know, but they're watching over us as I speak."
Later…
Sabrina gave a sigh when Wyatt's daughter Zoë threw her foot down in the start of a temper tantrum. "Zoë, I don't have time to deal with this. I have an appointment in an hour!"
Zoë wouldn't listen and continued having her tantrum, which made Sabrina sigh even more. "Zoë, please don't do this to Mommy Sabrina, okay?"
Finally, when she was just about to give in, Sabrina's cell phone rang.
Sabrina checked the ID and when she saw Elijah's number, she smiled. It had a while since she heard from her big brother and pressed the SEND button, placing the phone by her ear. "Eli, how are you, brother?"
Elijah smiled on his end. "Oh, can't complain. I wasn't interrupting anything, was I?"
"No, you weren't," Sabrina said. "In fact, I was thinking about you, Katerina, and the others."
"How would you feel if Katerina took you shopping, and you could bring Zoë along?" Elijah suggested.
Sabrina turned when she heard the doorbell ring and waddled over to answer it.
Katherine smiled at her sister-in-law when she answered the door. "Hey, Sabrina, want to have a girls' day out?"
Sabrina returned her smile and said to Elijah, "Katerina just arrived, Eli. I'll call you later." She hung up and said to Katherine, "Sounds good to me."
"Okay, gather up my future step-niece and we'll get going?" Katherine said with a smile.
Sabrina nodded and carefully picked Zoë up in her arms. "Come on, little one, we're going shopping with Aunt Kitty Kat. Wouldn't that be fun?"
Her future stepdaughter grinned and nodded, latching onto Sabrina's neck so the pregnant Mikaelson Co. executive could carry her easily out the front door.
Katherine smiled at Sabrina as they headed to the car. Sabrina then placed Zoë in the car seat and once she was securely buckled in, she gave her the stuffed rabbit she liked to play with and climbed into the front. Katherine started the engine and they pulled out of the driveway. Once they were on the road, Sabrina looked at her, noticing that the brunette's pregnancy was starting to show. "How are you feeling?"
"The morning sickness has stopped, thank God," she replied. "Though, the cravings are still there."
"Tell me about it," Sabrina said. "I'm always craving something. In fact, I'm surprised I haven't driven Wyatt crazy with them yet."
"How is the wedding planning coming?" Katherine asked as she drove away from Wyatt's mansion.
Sabrina smiled. "Oh, it's coming along great. We've got the hall for the reception booked and I just had my dress let out to accommodate my belly. We're postponing the honeymoon until after the baby is born. That way, I don't have to worry about going into labor."
"That would be a complete disaster," Katherine said with a laugh as the car headed further into town.
The car finally stopped at a baby store and Katherine smiled at Sabrina. "I think we should start here. I want to get some clothes and toys for your baby and mine. Most of the stuff left over from Colin and Maria are kind of old and broken because they weren't exactly gentle with their toys."
Sabrina chuckles as she gets her stepdaughter-to-be out of her car seat. "I know what you mean. I still have a lot of my old toys because I couldn't stand to part with them," she told Katherine.
Katherine smiled. "Yeah, that's kind of why I held on to Colin and Maria's things. There's also memories attached to them."
Sabrina smiles once more as she shifts Zoë on her hip before finally setting her down once they're in the store.
Katherine couldn't help but feel somewhat sentimental as she walked through the store, placing a hand on her belly, rubbing it gently and singing softly to herself. The song she was singing was the same song she sang to Maria and Colin when they were babies and she wanted to sing it to the new baby as well.
