Hello all! I am terribly sorry about the lack of updating. Just been really busy with a few things, I hope to keep writing and updating this story seeing how everyone is loving it! I appreciate all the reviews and messages from you guys! I'll try and keep it juicy ;)


Ash walked back into the suite to phone his mom when he got a soft knock on the door. Putting down the phone he walked over and peeped through the eye hole to see a bell boy standing there. Curious as to why he was here, he opened the door

"Can I help you?" He asked

"Mr. Ketchum?" The bell boy nervously asked

Ash simply just nodded.

"Um. . . I regret. . Well not regret. . . Um. . .The chairman has sent a message, explaining that your first battle will be tonight"

"TONIGHT?!" Ash said with confusion.

"But I haven't had time to train. Fuck. Just great timing for all this"

"I do apologize sir. But you have 8 hours until your match. Here are the directions to the stadium, the chairman will be waiting. Again he apologizes for the sudden change"

Ash just sighed as he took the letter and walked back into the suite, he wanted to call all his friends to tell them the good news, but with his first match was in a few short hours. He needed to mentally prepare himself and his pokemon

"Misty . ." He said, coming out onto the balcony to see her crying into her hands

He quickly sat next to her and consoled her

"What's wrong babe?" He said rubbing her back, trying to get her to speak

"My stupid fucking sisters think they are so much more better than everyone else. GAH!"

Ah. So now we know what the problem is.

Misty's sister were...how to put this politely...

Bitches.

Ash knew fully that Misty's siblings were mean spirited and had almost nothing good to say at times.

"Ahh babe i'm sorry, just. . . forget them ok? We don't need them. We have out own family to think of right now" He takes her hands into his

"I love you, and I promise to always be there for you and our baby"

Misty could only blush as she wiped away her tears

"Thanks Ash" She said lightly, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek

"Who was at the door?"

"Well, it looks like my first match is tonight. . "

"What?!" Exclaimed Misty

"I know right? I was gonna go train but if you're not. . ."

"No Ash, you should go train, i'm fine. I swear"

Ash knew he wouldn't win this fight.
All these emotions were rising up in him, it was all so alien to him. In one day he found out he was going to be a father and take on the Elite 4.
He was happy, nervous, anxious, sad, the list could go on.

All he knew is that he had to get ready

He simply nodded his head as he dashed back inside to get everything ready

"I'll meet you in the locker rooms before your battle hun" She said as he was rushing out the door

"Thanks, love you, bye!"

He said, slamming the door.

A few minutes later his phone began to ring, Misty picked it up to see who it was. It was his mom

Should she tell her or wait until he does?

She decided to answer it

"Hi Mrs. Ketchum!" She said gleefully

"Misty? Hi there! Is Ash around?"

"No, he just left to go train, his match was moved to tonight!"

"Oh good heavens. Good thing I arrived a day early"

Misty couldn't help herself.

"Mrs. Ketchum, would you like to go get something to eat? I'm sure we can entertain ourselves until Ash's battle tonight"

"Sure thing honey! Where are you guys staying?"

At the gym

"Damn. I don't know what I was worried about. Everybody is in peak physical condition and ready to fight. Lorelei is gonna have some trouble trying to beat us down!" He said confidently

Getting a cheerful response from all his pokemon

Ash decided to go with Pikachu, Charizard, Venasaur, Snorlax, Muk and Kingler.

Switching up his battle tactics would surely give the Elite 4 a run for their money. Who knows how long they've been watching him

He could only smile in the fact that all his pokemon were ready to battle and wanting to win just as much as he did

"Alright you guys, let's head back, we only have 2 hours"

Ash returned his Pokémon and headed back to his suite

4 hours earlier

"Hi Misty!" Delia said as she walked in and hugged her

"Hi Mrs. Ketchum" Misty said, letting her in and embracing the hug

"I'm so excited! I always love watching Ash battle" Delia said as she walked around the suite

"Oh my, such a big place!"

"Yeah. ." Misty said, wondering how all of this would go down

"Would you like something to drink Delia?"

"Oh no thanks sweetie, would you like to get going? I spotted a quaint little restaurant as I was driving in"

"Sure! Let me just grab a few things"

Misty quickly walked to the bathroom and shut the door as well as the master bedroom, can't be to careful

"Ready!" She said hurrying her soon to be mother in law out the door

It only took them a few minutes to reach the little restaurant

"So Mrs. Ketchum, how was the drive in?"

"Oh it was magnificent, the scenery was beautiful! How are you and Ash getting along?"

Damn. I don't think I ca-

"How are you folks doing today? My name is Dave and I will be your server this afternoon, can I get your ladies some beverages?"

Misty was relieved. Saved by Dave.

"Yes can I just get a water?"

"Same here please"

Dave wrote it down and handed them two menus

"If you decide before I come back, just give me a holler"

And with that he departed

It was quiet for a little bit, both of them sipping on their water and looking over the menu

"Oh now this looks delicious" Delia said pointing to a little picture of a Sandwich meal

"Yeah. ." Misty said with a blank tone

"Misty, is something the matter?"

"We Mrs. Ketchum. . ."

"Misty?" Ash yelled as he walked into their suite

"Babe, are ya here?"

Still no response

"Well, I guess I better let my Pokémon heal and take a shower"

He then called a bell boy to have his Pokémon healed in the Pokémon center downstairs

After giving his Pokémon to the bell boy he sat on the couch for a little bit and leaned his head back, trying to relax as best he could. As he did so, he noticed his phone on the ledge of the couch, blinking a dull green.

"Must have gotten a text" He mumbled to himself

His Mom and Misty had both texted him, telling him they went out.

"Hm. I wonder how that's going"

"Delia. Oh crap, how should I put this?. . .

Ash's mom just sat their with a confused look on her face

"I'm pregnant"

"WHAT?!" She screamed, covering her mouth instantly, her eyes widening to the size of dinner plates

"Mr.s Ketchum, I know this sounds bad with me and Ash only dating for such a short time, but our love is. . .

I can't even explain it. Every time I see him I just melt in his presence, I feel safe and secure with him and never want to leave him. I want to spend the rest of my life with him and raise this baby as a family."

And with that she showed her the ring that Ash proposed to her with

Delia was stunned, it was like she was struck by Pikachu's Thundershock attack.

"I can understand if you're mad, but please, understand that me and Ash know what we are doing"

"Misty, i'm not mad. I can tell you that" Her eyes beginning to water

"I just never expected my little Ashy boy to grow up so fast" She said through her sniffles, wiping away her tears with a napkin

"Misty, I fully support you two, and I am happy that Ash has a wonderful woman such as yourself"

Misty could only start crying at the fact that Ash's mom said such words

Just then Misty's phone began to ring

"Hey babe, just wanted to let you know that i'm heading to the arena. Do you wanna meet me there?"

She quickly wiped her tears away and composed herself

"Yeah babe, me and your mom will head over there in a bit"

"Mk. Love you"

"Love you too"

"You ready to go Mr.s Ketchum?"
