Tek: Yeah, that last chapter was pretty short, and ended on an odd cliffhanger, sort of.

Bobby: High School is a busy place. And now that I can update again, expect a chapter or two every week or two. And can someone, anyone, please review on my Pokemon story?

Also, Joan Rivers died today, September 4, 2014, and I learned that just before I watched: Mostly Ghostly: Have you met my ghoulfriend?God Bless her. I hope she finds her way to heaven. (P.S. Don't flame me because I mentioned religion.)

Chapter 5

(Sonic's pov)

Wow. I save a girl from a rapist, get put in a 3 month coma by said rapist, and wake up to find that the girl was cousins with the boy named Bobby?

"So what all happened while I was out? Also, did the doctor say anything about brain damage?" I asked quickly.

"Well, for starters, we built a robot." Tails said, pointing behind him at a blue hedgehog shaped machine.

"We based him after you, and gave him a jet turbine and a bunch of other handy things." Bobby chimed in, seeming proud of their work.

"They even won first prize in the Science Fair: Six summer passes to Kennywood!" Amy said, excitedly.

"Kennywood! Alright! I high-fived Tails and Bobby, then regretted it. The claps were loud, and it hurt my head. "Lets not do that again." I said, holding my head in pain.

"Wait, what are we gonna do with the other two passes?" Amy asked.

Bobby got a devilish smirk. He looked at Tails, then burst into quiet laughter, almost falling on his back.

"What, did Tails get a girlfriend while I was out?" I asked, curiously. Bobby just burst into hysterics again.

"Shut up, Bobby. You like that tribal girl who just moved here." My bro said, trying to bring down Bobby's ship with his.

Bobby stopped laughing. He looked pale. His head spun, slowly, looking at his cousin. Now she had a devilish look on her face. He looked about ready to shit himself.

"It's about time. I was beginning to think you were gay." She said chuckling darkly. "I can't wait to tell your mom. She'll love this!"

He ran out after her, shouting profanities at her. I looked out my window. He was flying after her, and while she was bobbing through traffic, he was flying through them.

"So, who's your girlfriend?" I said, turning to Tails, who turned beat red.

"A girl I met in Science." He said, blushing. "She shoplifts sometimes, though. But other than that, she's cool."

I shook my head, "Tails, you know better than that." I said, sitting up.

"But Sonic, she's the only girl that likes me for who I am, and not just because we were heroes."

I heard a thumping, and Bobby and Amy came in, Bobby holding her above the ground, grinning, while she looked miserable and mumbled.

"Good old family bonding happening everywhere, huh?" I asked.

He set her down, and grabbed Tails' arm. "Come on kitsune, we're gonna get food for all of us." He phased through the floor, probably scaring whoever was below, and Tails.

"Thank you." She said timidly.

"For what?" I asked, my head was foggy.

"Stopping Manic from raping me." She said sadly.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure he gets arrested, and put in jail."

"He already is. Your friends testified, and he has 5 years with parole." She said.

"Well, now that that is out of the way, do you want to hang out?" I said cooly.

"Sure, but I think you have to wait a few days." She said, while frowning.

I got up, picked her up bridal style, and (after getting smacked for accidentally touching her butt,) boosted out the opened window. She screamed the whole way down the four stories.

Aftee another smack, I remembered the best itailian food in Station Square, Mario Mario's Spagetti and Italian Restaurant.

We got there in no time, and greeted Luigi at the door.

"Welcome-a back to the world of the living, Sonic!" Luigi said happily.

"Glad to be back, Green Stache." I said jokingly.

We continued into the resteraunt, seeing Waluigi as a waitor, Peach as the bartender, Wario as the chef, and Mario was... Missing?

We were sat at the best table, one in front of a massive window. Waluigi came over, and said they could have anything on the menu. After all, Sonic has been gone for a while. They ordered, and had small talk, waiting for the food to arrive.

(Meanwhile, back at the hospital. Bobby's pov)

I can't believe they ditched us! Well, at least I had some blackmail for her when she got back.

Tails wasn't too happy either. Chili dogs are expensive, and no one liked them like Sonic.

We got back to the room, only to find it desersted, other than Metal Sonic.

I switched him on, and told him a command to find Sonic, and email us when he found him.

Fifteen minutes later, MS told us to get to 92 Cherrygrove Street. That sounded familiar.

We got there, and sweatdropped, as MS had found a Sonic restaurant. (like the place with all the smoothies and shakes)

I retold the command, this time, being more specific, telling him to find a blue hedgehog and a pink one. They would be hanging out together.

"Well, my kitsune friend, I have a date to go on. Tell Amy to be home by 8, or to at least use protection." I said, jokingly at the second part. Tails thought for a moment, then cringed.

"Gotta fly." I said taking off.

I planned this date with Tikal for a week. Amy wasn't going to ruin it. But I was running late due to Metal Sonic, so walking to the theatre wasn't an option.

I landed at her doorstep, and knocked. A large man that I assumed was her father answered the door.

"Hello, sir, I'm here to see Tikal?" I said in a voice that seemed to not be my own.

He glared down at me, damn was he tall, and called behind him. I tried not to stare past him, to look through his house, but it was hard, as I wanted to see Tikal.

The house was painted a dark orange color, a few shades darker than Tikal.

Speaking of her, the man stepped aside, before smiling at her and telling her to be home before 10.

He stepped behind her and resumed glaring at me. "Have a nice time, honey." He said, then added a slit throught hand symbol to me. I took Tikal's hand, a sign of defiance to him, I think, and walked her around the corner.

"Ever want to fly?" I asked before wrapping my arms around her, and flew into the air, her laughing.

"What do you want to see?" I asked, landing in front of the theatre, getting looks from people.

"Let's watch Joan Rivers' latest part. Mostly Ghostly 2." She said, a hint of sadness in her voice.

"You liked her movies, didn't you?" I asked, rubbing her back. "She was a wonderful person."

We went in, I bought the popcorn, pop, and two boxes of candy, sour for me, nouget for her.

During the movie, our hands touched (cliche I know), and in the dim light, I saw her blush.

After the movie, we went to get a treat, me flying us there, and getting ice cream from Dos Bros Ice Cream and Spicy Meatball Stand.

I got her home 15 minutes before 10.

"Thank you, Bobby. I had a nice time with you." She said, turning redder than her brother, who opened the door suddenly.

"Bobby, great to see you. Heard Sonic's back."

"Yeah, he is." I turned back to Tikal. "You wanna do this again sometime?"

"Sure, how about next Saturday?" She asked.

"Fine for me, Tikal." I said. "See you later." I said, giving her hand a kiss, then flying upwards through the roof, in a dramatic exit fashion.

That was amazing.

Bobby: Sorry, I was busy.

Demon: Doing what?

Tek: Getting sick, seeing ghosts, and self-teaching himself how to lower his body temperature about 20°.

Bobby: This is Bobby the Ghosthog, phasing out.
