AU. Myka and Pete work for the government as zombie hunters, trying to keep the outbreak in the country under control. When Helena Wells is thrown into the mix, tensions are high between her and Myka. But who knows? Maybe they would make a pretty good team.

15. Announcement

Hey guys! I apologize, but this is not a new chapter. First I wanted to thank everyone for reading and commenting and following. It means a lot that you guys like the story this much! So thank you for sticking with me.

But I mostly wanted to announce that I'm officially putting this story on hiatus for a bit. I know I haven't been updating much (or at all) and I feel terrible about it. I've been having major writer's block and I have a few other ideas that I want to work on, plus my busy schedule IRL leaves me hardly any time to write. So instead of trying to force something out that won't be as good as it could be, I'm going to take a little break from this story and try working on some other ones (maybe another AU or two! I like AUs and I want to get started on them with AU week coming up!)

This story is in fact nearing the end (but there's still a few more chapters to go!) and I want to write the end well which is probably why I'm having such difficulty. But I promise that I will start posting regular updates again before the year ends! And if I don't, you have permission to harass me on here and on Tumblr (feliciadayismypatronus) until I do.

So, just to reiterate, THANK YOU for your support of this story and it is NOT over! I will be back with this story soon, but also keep your eyes open for new stuff I'll be working on.

Again, I'm really sorry about the hiatus, but I feel like it's the best thing for the story. Thanks again! You guys are awesome.
