After watching Lucy for a good day or two, Natsu had come to a conclusion.

He had gotten his fiancé knocked up.

At first he was reallyreally happy at the thought of having a child and starting a family with Lucy but then after a couple of minutes, he realized that having a child now was going to be a bad thing.

He and Lucy were still in college and they have decided to get married when they finish college but having a baby before marriage seemed a bit fast to him. And it felt a bit weird that Lucy wasn't experiencing any morning sickness or anything. And it was weirder that he was the first one to know than the woman herself who was carrying the child.

Natsu had thought about talking about it with her but he thought maybe he should wait for her to speak up before he can.

But waiting for a good week was making Natsu impatient and he almost broke down but he regained his composer for his beautiful fiancé. He didn't want to freak her out and waste lots of money by going to the doctors to do a certain check-up.

And so, that leads to the day where he finally wanted to talk about it.

"Hey, Lucy?"

"Hmm?"

"Can we talk?"

"About what?" Lucy asked as she looked at Natsu who stood on the other side of the counter, looking at her with a serious look that it kind of scared her. Natsu cleared his throat and prepared to talk, wondering how to break it to her.

"Uhm, well, after a week of observing you—"

"What?"

"—I've come to the conclusion that..." Natsu pursed his lips as he tried thinking of a better way to phrase the word, you're pregnant. "That..?" Lucy trailed on making Natsu sigh heavily.

"That... you... might... be... preggers..." He said slowly and softly to make sure she didn't freak out. He watched as her face turned into confusion after she had processed what he has just said to her.

"That I might be what?"

"Pregnant."

"Pregnant?"

"Yes, pregnant."

Natsu watched her face turn into a more confused face as she stared at him as if he was the crazy one. "What? I'm not pregnant."

"But you are!" Natsu suddenly yelled making Lucy flinch and stare at him in bewilderment. She continued to stare at him until she shook her head, making him groan. "Lucy, I know you're pregnant."

"How?"

"Because you're moody and you crave food you usually don't eat—if that doesn't explain your pregnancy than I don't know what does."

Lucy stared at Natsu to see if he was joking but he wasn't and she just started to laugh like a mad woman. Natsu watched her laugh and throw her head back, his eyes widening over the woman he thought he's seen every side to. Once she finished her little fit of laughter, she sighed and looked at Natsu who still kept his horrified face on.

"Natsu, how can I be pregnant if I started my period 2 days ago?"

"It's just a sign that the baby is growing!" Natsu yelled to keep the excuse that he was right and she was wrong. He's been thinking about this for a long time and now it can't backfire on him because of her gift.

Lucy sighed and rolled her eyes, shifting from her right foot to her left. "Alright then, if you're so persistent about me being pregnant—go buy me a pregnancy test and let's see who's right."

"Fine." Natsu spat out before turning his heel and walking out the front door. In matter of minutes, he came back with a straight face on. "Uh, what does a pregnancy test look like and where do they sell them?"

Lucy couldn't help but face-palm, knowing that she was actually going to marry this idiot one day.

"It comes in a little box about this big and has the words, pregnancy test written on it, sweetie." Lucy said as she separated her hands at least 3 inches wide. Natsu nodded and turned back around, making his way out the doors of their house.

"What did Lucy say it looked like?"

After roaming around the pharmacy and asking the woman up front twice, he finally found it and brought it home with a couple of junk food since he was actually pretty hungry.

He entered their lovely adobe and tossed Lucy the pink and white box, unloading the chips and soda he had bought earlier. He ripped open the bag and started to munch on them as he watched Lucy read the instructions and read the box before standing up to go test it out.

"If I'm not pregnant, we're going out to dinner tonight and I get to have whatever I want."

"Fine, but if you are, you're going to buy me dinner tonight."

"Deal." Lucy said before she entered the bathroom and closed the door, leaving Natsu to wait for her to come back out.

After what seemed like hours of sitting around and eating already half the bag of chips, Lucy came back out empty handed. He raised a brow at her to see what she was going to say but she didn't say anything but sit down in front of him, snatching the half-eaten bag from him. "We have to wait a bit while the thing does its thing."

"Oh well—we all know who's right in this situation." Natsu smirked as he snatched the bag back. The two were silent for a moment until they both voiced out, "Me."

The couple looked up and cocked their eyebrows at their respected partner, wondering what they meant by that single word. They continued to stare until the pregnancy test made a sound that made both of them jump in surprise.

Lucy fumbled to get up as she ran into the bathroom to check, Natsu sitting there completely confused over the situation.

He knew he was right—one hundred percent. Why wouldn't she be? They had sex plenty of times without protection and he was sure she could be pregnant. Or maybe it was because it was that time of the month and they were just warning her about it... it could be.

Natsu decided he was right because he can't trust any damn hormones.

After a second of praising himself, he heard a very loud shriek come from the bathroom. His first instinct was to run on over to where the shriek came from but he knew Lucy screamed because she found out she was pregnant. He smirked in victory as he threw his fist in the air, finally winning some kind of argument with Lucy.

He knew he was right! And tonight he was going to feast like a king!

A second later, Lucy came towards Natsu and threw him the pregnancy test that slid across the counter and in front of the dumbfounded Natsu. He looked down to see one stripe, looking back up to see Lucy smirking at him with her arms cross over her chest.

He raised a brow at her and pointed at the pregnancy test. "What does one line mean?"

"I'm not pregnant."

"What?! Then why'd you scream earlier?!"

"Cause I was happy you were going to buy me expensive dinner at an expensive restaurant with expensive food." Lucy smiled sweetly making Natsu look at her in be betrayal. "How could you?! You know I'm broke!"

"No you're not! That's your excuse every time I want to go out for dinner or shopping. We're going out, Dragneel! So go find your finest suit and march your ass down here because we're going out!"

"Lucy!"

"That's final, understood?"

"Lucy—"

"I said, understood?" Lucy hissed through her perfect white teeth as she glared, Natsu's lips immediately closing shut. He bit the inside of his cheek to surpass the feeling to throw a sassy comment back, smiling at his fiancé. "Of course, honey. I'll be down here in 30 minutes tops."

"That's what I thought. I'll go shower,"

Natsu watched Lucy's retreating back disappear around the corner before he practically fell on his chair, exhausted. How in the world was he supposed to buy her expensive food when all he carries is dollar bills in his wallet?

He better use his emergency credit card Igneel gave him—he doesn't know what'll happen tonight with an angry Lucy in his case.

"Hey Luce?"

"Hmm?"

"What would you do if you really were pregnant?"

Lucy looked on over at Natsu who continued to stare up at the dark skies that were decorated with shining stars, the two engaged couple deciding that they'll go star-watching after their fancy dinner—which was actually cheap but really fancy looking to Natsu's dismay. Now there they are, dressed formally while lying on Natsu's car by some hill in the middle of nowhere.

In reality—it wasn't that bad. It was romantic and also a bit cheesy.

"What I would do if I really was pregnant?"

"Mhm."

"I would scream."

Natsu turned his head to look at the blonde who was actually smiling.

"Of terror or happiness?"

"Both."

"Why both?"

"Terror because I'm actually going to be a mother and happiness because I'm going to start my life with the guy I love." Lucy announced as she looked at Natsu whose onyx eyes bore into her chocolate ones. They continued to stare at each other until Natsu leaned in and closed the space between them, their lips connecting for a brief moment.

"I love you, you know that?"

"I know." Lucy giggled before snuggling up against the male's side. She sighed happily and she knew Natsu was also grinning like the fool he was.

"What do you think they would look like?" Lucy asked as she thought about her and Natsu having children. She could see mini Natsu's and Lucy's running and screaming all over the place. And that wasn't a pretty sight in her eyes.

"They'll look like humans. But one will look incredibly super sexy because one of its parents are freaking hot."

Lucy smiled as she thought he was talking about her until he said, "And of course there's the one that looks like you because you're there."

She almost fell off the car.

Natsu chuckled and kissed the top of Lucy's head as he told her he was joking, trying to brighten her mood up again.

"I mean—it's not that hard to see. One of them will have pink hair or yellow hair or maybe orange... but that's not the point—as long as they're healthy and alive, I don't care what they look like."

"You know, you changed." Lucy suddenly announcing making Natsu look down at her. "In a bad way or..?"

"A good way, of course. I wouldn't think we would be in this situation right now if we haven't met in that club 8 months ago."

"Yeah, I know. I would still be sleeping around with girls and probably gotten STD's or something," Natsu mumbled the last part which made Lucy laugh out loud. She sat up and looked over the shoulder with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Before Natsu knew it, she was on top of him and kissing him silly.

"I love you."

"I love you more, future Mrs. Dragneel."

The next morning Natsu woke up all groggily and sore, the sun shining in his eyes making his face burn.

He turned around and covered his face with his hand to block out the sun while he looked for his fiancé who was sleeping next to him. Now it was just empty space making him wondering where that woman went.

After what happened last night—she could still walk? Damn.

Natsu sat up and groaned again as the light blinded the male for a good second or two, the man trying his best to wobble on over to the bathroom.

Once he finished his business, he was out the door with his boxers in his hands.

"Lucy..! Where are you, you sexy goddess?"

Natsu rubbed the sleep off his eyes as he went down the stairs and around the corner, freezing in his spot as he noticed Lucy was holding a child that looked only a couple months old in her arms. His eyes widen as his onyx eyes darted from Lucy to the baby and back at Lucy.

He opened his mouth to say something but Lucy beat him to it. "You're naked!"

"I knew you were pregnant!"

"I can't get pregnant and give birth in one night, you idiot! Hurry and get dressed—we have guest over!"

"Who the fuck is over at 9 in the morning?!"

"Just shut up and come to the living room once you're dressed. Go! Vamos!" Lucy shouted as she adjusted the baby in her arms, the curious child looked back and forth between the adults. "Are you speaking Spanish to me, Miss Heartfillia?"

"Just hurry up and go you idiot." Lucy sighed as she surpassed the urge to face palm. Natsu chuckled and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before running upstairs to go get dressed.

He didn't know he had a friend who had a baby—except Lisanna but she's only in her 3rd month right now—and he didn't know why that baby looked a bit familiar but he was curious.

Lucy also looked very attractive and motherly with that baby in her arms—maybe he should consider starting a family early. If he could see that image of Lucy holding their baby in her arms like that every day, he wouldn't mind.

After getting dressed in his usual attire Natsu went back downstairs to the living room to see Lucy talking to some woman while rocking the baby in her arms, a wide smile on her beautiful face. Natsu slowly walked on over to them as he rounded the couch corner, his eyes widening when he saw the person who was sitting on their couch.

"A—Angel?!"

"Natsu-Kun. It's nice to see you again."

"What the... is that your baby?" Natsu asked in surprise as he pointed at the infant that was in Lucy's arms right now. Angel smiled and nodded making Natsu's jaw drop. "Isn't she beautiful?"

"Natsu, Angel came over to show us her new child, Athena."

"Oh, I see. She's adorable, Angel." Natsu said as he walked on over to take a closer look at the child. Once he did, he noticed she had brown hair and dark purple eyes that were shining brightly.

"So Angel, have you found out the father of Athena?"

"Yes, I have."

"Cool. What's his name so I can go beat the shit out of this guy?"

"His name is Dan Straight." She announced making both Natsu and Lucy stiffen. They looked at Angel with wide eyes as they heard the name fly out of her mouth, the silver-haired woman tilting her head to the side in confusion. "Do you know him?"

"Did you say... Dan Straight?"

"Yes?"

"Oh my god..."

I have completely forgotten my anger and emotions and basically wrote this while watching Grown Ups. (Best movie ever, guys)
