Amelia sat in her apartment, getting ready for work. She took her time apply her makeup and choose her outfits carefully. She adored her mourning rituals. It prepared her for the long days filled with tests and paperwork. She wondered if she would come home, sometimes.
Amelia walked out of her apartment and grabbed the keys, hopping in her Volkswagen. She drove to work, listening to the news on the radio. Reports of the EZombs were everywhere. The White House had released a statement, claiming that there was nothing to be alarmed about, and that there was an open investigation at Providence headed by the prestigious and decorated Rebecca Holiday.
As Amelia pulled into work, she heard an odd sound coming from the West Wing where the EZombs had been trapped.
She ignored the sound and made her way to the front entrance, hurrying to the lab. She was greeted by Dr. Holiday.
"Amelia," Holiday seemed upset, and Amelia was worried. "There's been a theft,"

"What was stolen?" Amelia asked, wondering why Holiday was blocking lab door.

"Sensitive files," Holiday answered.

"What?" Amelia asked.

"Personnel files, along with confidential files were stolen by an unknown assailant last night," Holiday said, not knowing what sensitive information those files contained.

"Oh," Amelia felt worried.

"I've given you the day off, and I fully expect you to go on your date with Rex tonight," Holiday ordered.

"Thanks, boss," Amelia turned and walked away, not sure what just happened.

Circe sat in a café off of the east end of Phoenix. It served excellent coffee and desserts, along with delicious sandwiches. She was going through the files she had stolen, wondering why her boss wanted these.
She heard the door open, and looked up to see a familiar face.
Rex Salazar stood there with his arm around a petite blonde wearing black leather pants, heels, a white tank top, and a blue letterman jacket.
Circe quickly put the files back into the folder and locked it up. She quickly hurried out, knowing why she had to steal those files.

A/N: Hey, sorry this wasn't out yesterday! I'm at my dad's, and the wifi sucks, so it wouldn't publish. Well, that's really all I have to say. Until next Saturday!
