Chapter 24
I awaken with ease to the brightness of the hospital wing with my eyelids firmly closed, I can feel the warmth of a familiar figure by my side. As my eyes flutter open I look into his beautiful blue eyes, those eyes I have longed to see for so long, that I somehow thought I might never see again. "Remus." I say his full name is a soft, gentle voice as if I have a very sore throat. I make the fullest smile I have done for a long while and attempt to stretch out my arms to embrace him despite the shooting pain.
I close my eyes and stay there for a long while, the warmth of him makes me feel so comfortable and helps to ease the sorrow of the things I had experienced. "I will never leave you." he tells me in a sincere voice which I cherish, as I pull away and sit up carefully a single delicate tears falls down my cheek and he wipes it away slowly and carefully and kisses my forehead. "It's all ok now." He reminds me.
After a while of sitting there, I tell him everything that happened about the beating, the rape and the torture. He listens intently to every word. Yet, even when I finish talking there is still one burning question on my mind. "Moony?" I ask quietly.
"Yes, Caty?" He replies sensing my tone.
"You know when You, Lolly and.. and well to be honest I couldn't make out the third voice were here. What happened to me?" I question.
"Well, I think Sirius should tell you that." He spat through his teeth looking at my arm which now I look actually had small scars dotting everywhere. "I thought you called him Padfoot?" I tell him.
"Not anymore." He informs me.
