10:00 AM, About 30 miles outside of Phoenix, Arizona.
Holiday sat, preparing the test with the silver liquid and Amelia's blood. She was in a calm, almost meditative state. There was nothing that could break her out of her calm. Well, almost nothing.
Six walked in, clearing his throat loudly. Holiday stood, and quickly realized he was slightly intoxicated.
"You and I are going to have a talk, missy," he growled at her.
"Six, you are so drunk. Go sleep it off," Holiday responded.
"No. No way. Because dammit, Calan doesn't deserve you! I do!" Six almost shouted.
"Then why did you leave, Six? Why? Because I would've gladly been with you if you hadn't left. And I watched for you. I waited. And then, one day, I stopped looking," A tear dared roll down her cheek. "Calan loves me. And he can say it without a life or death situation. You can't even do that. We could've been great, Six. But I'm not one to focus on could-be's,"
"Oh..." Even though Six was extremely drunk, he could understand. He turned and tried to stumble out, but ended up running into the door and knocking himself unconscious.
Despite herself, Holiday laughed as she crossed the room, leaning him against the wall. She turned back to her work, and dropped the blood in silver liquid.
It curdled, to Holiday's surprise. It began to bond with the liquid, then bunched up. It began to become stronger, and almost living. Holiday gasped. That was what was causing the muscles to regenerate! She smiled. Maybe she had cracked it.

The Boss sat in his cave, stewing. His agents had lost track of Circe. She had sensitive information. And if he didn't get her back, people where going to pay.
He decided to call out B. B had stayed in the shadows long enough, and if he couldn't find Circe, no one could.
"I want B," he called into the darkness, to no one in particular. After a moment, the coward stepped into the light.
B was a tall, thin young man with dark tan skin and bleached blonde hair. He blended into the masses, making him perfect for recon work. His intelligence, though, was what made him truly valuable. He was a brilliant engineer, coming up with devices useful to the Boss.
"Yes, m'Lord?" B bowed mockingly, knowing that he was irreplaceable.
"You are going to find Circe," the Boss demanded.
"What, she ran away?" B snarled. "Don't worry. She's mine, and she knows it,"
"Don't underestimate her, B. You would be surprise the vindictiveness of a woman scorned," the Boss warned, already fed up with B's attitude.
"How do you want me to get her back?" B asked.
"Show her the power of the Boss at a moment where people feel safe," the Boss decided.
"You might have to wait," B warned.
"For an agent such as Circe, I will be patient,"

Holiday sat in her office at home, making notes on all of the different experiments she had done earlier. The silver liquid bonded with anything organic, and made most of the other things found as byproducts. But mostly, the liquid seemed to control the muscles, even sending signals using the nerves. She felt confident that they were going to figure things out, but it did beg the question who was made by? Why were they doing this? How long would this crisis last?
Holiday looked up to see her captain walking in.
"Hey, Calan," she smiled warmly.
"Rebecca, we have to talk," Calan said firmly. Immediately Holiday was filled with fear. "No, not that. I want to get married soon,"
"Soon? How soon?" Holiday asked, putting down her pen and looking at her beau.
"How about a week?" Calan asked. "I want to have you as my wife through this crisis,"
"Okay," Holiday agreed. "Let's just have a quiet ceremony, then. How about our backyard?" Rebecca proposed.
"What about your dress?" Calan asked.
"Oh, I have one from back when I used to model for dress stores. I think that this will work," Rebecca smiled. "I'll send out e-vites when I'm done here,"
A/N: Sorry, it's short and been forever since I posted, but alas, I've been in hospitals getting prodded by doctors and being harassed by my boyfriend/mother/sister/everyone. The wedding will be Chapter 20, btws. And B is an a-hole. So, my lovelies, I bid you an adeu until next week.
