It was one of those days where Lucy felt lightweight and she did whatever she pleased. She ate whatever she wanted—and had to convince her idiot fiance she is not pregnant for the second time—slept as long as she wanted, and just didn't do anything but stay home all day. And since she didn't have to pay for a new dorm to stay for the year, she had extra money lying around for her own desire. But it didn't interest her like it did any other day.

Natsu was out of the house attending classes leaving her all lonely and alone in the large house. He was supposed to be home soon but how long will she have to wait till he gets home? It was his birthday today, too. He was finally twenty-four and Lucy even had a huge surprise birthday party planned out for him at Fairy Tail tonight which she was excited for.

Natsu hated being noticed on his birthday but how could she let the guy silently celebrate it by himself and a couple of friends?

All he asked for was birthday sex but she can also give him other things along with that.

Other than that, she was completely beat and bored out of her mind. It was worse enough she was home alone—she had to wait a while for the birthday party to even start!

The blonde groaned loudly as she plopped herself against the soft sofa, dangling her limbs as she felt softness brush against her hand. She looked down to see Happy, their adoptive cat slash son, purring and asking for attention. She merely scooped him up, put him on her stomach and went back to groaning.

She stayed groaning and moaning for a good ten minutes until she heard her front door open and shut with an urgent slam.

"God, finally! Natsu I've been waiting for you—Gray? What the—? How'd you get in my house? Why are you half-naked?!" She practically screeched as the half-naked male panted and whipped the sweat off his forehead. "N—no time... No time to explain... I—I need you..."

"Whoa there," Lucy said as she took a step back. "You're attractive and all but sorry, I'm going to stick with Natsu."

"What the—? No! Lucy, I need your help..."

"Help? Help with what?" She asked before millions of bad thoughts rushed through her head. Her face paled and her eyes widened in fear. "I—Is it Natsu? Where's Natsu?! Is he hurt?!"

"No! It's... More urgent than that dumbass."

"More urgent..? What is it then?"

"I need you go to the airport with me, please."

"Why? Is Lisanna coming?!" Her eyes started to light up making Gray pale and shake his head. "N—no... It's worse."

"Then what is it?!"

"My... My brother... Is coming to town."

Firstly, Lucy never knew Gray had a brother and secondly, she didn't know why he was freaking out so badly when he had someone to come and see him all the way from wherever he lived. But those questions were all ignored since he took her and Natsu, since he came in right before they left, to the airport. It was weird seeing Gray so caught-up in something and Lucy had to wonder what was the big idea.

Now there they were, sitting in the waiting area as Gray practically sweat buckets of sweat.

"Can someone please explain to me what's going on? I've been abducted from my house to the airport to meet Gray's brother for what reason? Am I emotional support or something?" The blonde cried out as Natsu snickered. "Don't forget physical support too."

"What—?"

"Gray's brother is a big pain in the ass. They're not related by blood—he was adopted when we were just seven and he was four and we grew up together." Natsu explained as he wrapped his arm around Gray's shoulder who seemed too stressed out to notice the physical contact between the boys.

Lucy could only stare in confusion. "Then what is he so worried about?"

"Well," Natsu trailed off, chuckling slightly as the doors opened for the passengers to come out. One by one, families and friends united happily. Crying and screaming, hugging and kissing, and then there was Gray Fullbuster, practically hiding himself behind the couple.

Lucy just couldn't understand why.

"I mean, if I had a sibling coming to see me wherever he or she is, I would be pretty damn happy."

"That's you, Luce. You don't know this kid. He's... yeah."

Lucy could only raise her brow in confusion and brush it off once more since she knew Gray and Natsu were a special kind of odd in everyone's perspective.

"So, how does he look like?"

"Well, he's about this tall, silver hair, dark eyes—"

"Gray! Natsu! Family!" Somebody shouted from afar, stopping Natsu from continuing. His smile instantly dropped along with Gray's lunch as a silver-haired male came running towards them at full-speed. Gray tried running but Natsu grabbed him by the collar, the three smashing against each other to fall against the hard marble floors.

"You guys!"

"L—Lyon..." The two groaned as the weight crushed them against the hard surface. "Happy Birthday, Natsu! I just remembered while sitting in the plane because I remember when we were young, Mirajane would bake cake and I accidently sat on it one night!"

"Y—yeah... you're the best birthday present anyone can ask for..." He said sarcastically as he wheezed, struggling to throw the heavy male off him. The silver-haired college boy didn't notice the look of distress on their faces but he did notice a blonde beauty staring at them in shock.

He instantly shot up, dusted himself off, cleared his throat, and extended his hand out towards Lucy who hesitantly placed her hand on top of his. They were oddly cold against her hands—something similar to Gray, she noticed.

"Hello, I am Lyon Vastia. It is a pleasure meeting such a beautiful young lady—may I ask what your name is?"

"I—I'm Lucy... Lucy Heartfillia."

"Lucy is a very beautiful name. Are you friends with my brother, Gray and Natsu?"

"Hey, I ain't your brother!" Natsu cried out as Lyon ignored and waited for a reply. Lucy could only nod and smile slightly, glancing behind to look at their expressions before looking right back. Lyon just beamed and laced his arm against hers before turning around, walking away. "Gray, get my bag, Lucy and I have some serious talking to do!"

"That little... why'd he come in the first place if he's going to run off with Lucy like that?"

"That bastard better not touch her... I'll burn him!" Natsu growled as he helped grabbed the luggage with Gray.

The two followed the two that talked excitedly as the boys struggled to carry the heavy load which felt like a bag full of rocks.

"So... Lyon was it?" Lucy said as he gave her a look of approval. "Where are you coming from and why did you come on over to visit Gray in the middle of the school-year?"

"Well, I haven't seen Gray since... since he was a senior in High School. And I haven't seen him in a while and..." He glanced on over at the two boys behind them before leaning in close to Lucy. "I heard he's dating someone and is getting pretty serious... is it true?"

"Oh yeah, it seriously is. Her name is Juvia Loxar, I'll introduce you guys if you like."

"Wow, thanks Lucy." He said as he gave her shoulder a pat, walking back to where the boys were to receive an awkward look from Gray and Natsu.

She still didn't know why Gray was so nervous to see him again.

While eating a bowl of oatmeal, Natsu and Gray both watched from the kitchen island as Lucy and Lyon got along relatively well. Surprisingly, he wasn't pulling anything funny and Natsu was keeping a sharp eye out for him. Gray didn't care either way, all he wanted was his brother out and away like it has been for the last three and a half years. He still didn't understood why he suddenly wanted to come meet him after all the years of no contact.

But weirdly enough, he was with Lucy and Lucy looked like she was having fun so why not dump that rascal on her?

"Don't you think Lyon is acting a bit... I don't know, weird? With Lucy, I mean. Like, he's super nice and he's acting like her best friend." Natsu said as he lazily put a spoon-full of oatmeal in his mouth, glancing on over at Gray who just shrugged. "I guess he just wants to get on her good side."

Natsu merely stared as he continuously chewed on his bowl of oatmeal.

"OH! You come from Blue Pegasus University? Isn't that the Uni for—?"

"Yep, you got it. University for modeling."

"You're a model?" Lucy asked, gaping at the male who only smirked. "No, I'm becoming one, soon. I just have to get my degree and some stuff and I'm out to get my model status!"

"Oh! Didn't Hibiki Lates go there? He's in that top 10 models you want as your boyfriend! list!" Lucy pointed out as Lyon nodded, confirming it. The blonde sighed happily as she imagined the hot model, squealing as she just wanted to hug and kiss him. "He is so hot!"

"AHEM." Natsu cleared his throat rather loudly from the kitchen island.

It caught her attention and she only snickered at him, looking at the male who inwardly gave her a glare. She only brushed it off.

"So, is he really that attractive up close as well?"

"Yes." Lyon admitted making Lucy squeal. "I want a picture with him! Or—or can you get me his autograph? Oh please? Please Lyon, please?"

"Why, anything for you, Lucy! Once it get it, I promise I'll send it to you via mail." He promised, smiling at her beaming face as she squeal in happiness. She gave him a big hug as he hugged her back, smiling softly as the blonde practically screamed about how she's going to brag to Erza and Levy and Lisanna about this.

Meanwhile, Natsu only sulked watching his fiance drool about other male models.

After talking and gossiping with Lucy the entire day, Lyon had nothing else to say and he was tired from that plane trip. But he didn't want to go to his hotel so fast—he wanted to stay and hang out some more but what else could they do? He wanted to meet Juvia, also. That, was his main objective anyways.

"Guys, I'm bored. Let's do something," Lyon whined earning nobody's attention but Lucy's who currently was chopping up some vegetable. Natsu and Gray ignored his whine as the two laid on the couch watching sports.

Lyon, from the dinner table, shot Lucy a pleading look making her frown. She glanced on over at the clock to see it was only six, about to turn seven.

She hummed in wonder before throwing the chopped up vegetables in. "How about we head to Fairy Tail after dinner?" She suggested earning the boys attention this time. Lyon looked confused but the boys looked somewhat promising.

"What's Fairy Tail?"

"I agree—we should totally go!"

"Yeah, I'm up for it."

"What's Fairy Tail?" Lyon asked once more making Lucy giggle slightly. "It's a night-cub—it's one of the best around here."

Lyon only nodded as he thought about it, wondering if he should ask her to bring Juvia there.

"Boys, can you help set the table?" Lucy asked nicely towards the boys but the only attention she got was Lyon's. He grabbed the plates and utensils from her as he glanced back at the boys who didn't move an inch, wondering why they're not helping out with dinner.

"Natsu, Gray, that means you too, y'know."

"Lyon can take care of it—right?" Natsu said, turning his head to stare the boy down who only nodded in approval. He didn't lift his head back to look at Natsu who was clearly threatening him, Lucy frowning at his behavior.

She stepped out of the kitchen and stood in front of the television, planting her hand on he hip as she shifted all her weight to one foot.

Gray and Natsu both stared at her, confused.

"Luce, you're blocking the television." He stated making her give him a hard stern look. He looked away immediately after gaining eye-contact and she huffed in annoyance. "You two can't treat Lyon like this. He is our guest."

"I'm your guest too, Lucy, remember?" Gray pointed out making her glare at him. "You come here almost everyday—shirtless, most of the time I must add. You eat my food, you sleep in my house, and you barge in like you're part of this household so I expect you to act like it, Gray Fullbuster." The blonde hissed, now turning to look at her lazy fiance who sat there staring. "And you too, Natsu Dragneel. You know better than letting the guest doing the work!"

"But he's like family! He's like, the in-law of the family basically!"

"You're supposed to respect your in-laws! You're treating him like a maid!"

"He's family, Lucy, it's okay. Push him around as much as you want," He waved it off casually, smiling at the suggestion but when he only got the look of death he groaned. "Luce, it's my birthday!"

"So?"

"So, that means, I'm allowed to do anything I want." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest to stare her down. Lucy growled and never backed down as she stared him back down. "Natsu Dragneel, you are merely just one year older so I expect you to be the responsible adult you are and help Lyon in the kitchen." She stated sternly, pointing at the kitchen where Lyon was quietly watching.

"But Lucy—!"

"I swear, Natsu Dragneel, I won't be giving you any birthday sex till you're thirty if you don't get your ass up now!"

Gray and Lyon made a sound of defeat and Natsu groaned loudly, giving her a look of distress but she only dismissed it, pointing at the kitchen, waiting patiently. Natsu was silent for a while before standing up, grumbling indecent words under his breath as he left to help Lyon.

"You're lucky I just want birthday sex," Natsu muttered towards Lyon who stared while Gray snickered. "He's a sex-crazed, idiot, don't you know?"

"Uhh..." He awkwardly stared making them roll their eyes. "You need to get out of the house more often, kid."

"Lyon, how about you go sit down and watch whatever you like on the television. Gray and Natsu can handle this, right?" She suggested, smiling at the two older males who gawked at her. She gave them the look of death when they tried to protest but stopped when the decided they wanted to live for a few more years.

"Oh, it's okay, Lucy. I will just help—I'm finished anyways."

"Thanks for the help, Lyon!"

"Anytime," He waved it off as he gave the two older boys smirks.

They gawked at him as Gray was about to strangle the child but he quickly went beside Lucy who was too busy chopping something to notice the tension between the males.

"Lucy, Lucy! Gray and Natsu are being mean to me!" He whined as he grabbed the hem of her shirt, smirking at the boys who merely shot him death looks. But they stopped when Lucy gave them a scarier look, holding the knife she used to chop up vegetables up to her face. "Stop." She commanded making them look away in anger and disappointment.

Lyon could only snicker in the process.

He leaned in to whisper something in Lucy's ear, making it look flirtatious in Natsu's eyes. The pink-haired senior wanted to go on over to him and pound him till next week but the only obstacle in the way was his dear fiance whom he knew could kill him in matter of seconds.

"Sure, of course! I'll call her right after dinner!"

"Wah, it feels so nostalgic coming here! Isn't that right, Natsu?" The blonde asked as she held onto the arm of her escort, Natsu Dragneel, who only nodded in response. He was quiet as he glanced on back at the two brothers trailing behind, the two were quiet and it created an awkward tension. It wasn't like the two spoke to each others, anyways.

"Natsu!"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"I was talking to you? Are you ignoring me?" The blonde huffed, crossing her arms over her large chest making him glance down before looking at her. He shook his head and smiled warmly, reaching forward to grasp her hand. "I would never, Luce. I'm just checking up on the boys back there," He said while jabbing his thumb right behind him. He placed his hand on her hip and she looked behind her fiance to glance at the boys, also. She frowned when she noticed the silent tension between them.

"Are they always this quiet when together?"

"No, they were really close. We all were, actually." He said, glancing back at them to look at her again. He smiled at her frowning face as they waited patiently for the boys who were approaching faster and faster. "They're just like that because it;s been almost four years since they've seen each other."

"Then shouldn't they be happy and talking and stuff? They're so quiet and gloomy,"

"Well—"

"And Gray was freaking out over his brother coming to visit him. I don't understand what's going on."

"I'll tell you once I find out, okay?" He winked making her smile. The couple turned and looked at the pair to see they were pretty much the same as they always were. Gray looked a bit awkward while Lyon tried smiling to make it better but it didn't look like it helped.

Lucy only sighed as she reached forward and grabbed Lyon's hand, smiling at his confused face.

"C'mon, Lyon, I bet you haven't gotten drunk before, right?"

"N—No... I'm only twenty... I'm turning twenty-one, soon, though." Lyon said making Lucy smile and laugh a bit. She dragged him up to Elfman and the blonde smiled at the silver-haired guard earning a smile back. "Lucy! Welcome back—I heard you've taken care of my sister quiet well! That's real manly of you!"

"I'm not a man but it was no problem! This is Lyon."

"Hi Elfman," Lyon greeted making the guard stare in surprise. "Lyon? I haven't seen you since you were a high-schooler! You've grown up to become a man!"

"Thanks!"

"So Elfman, can we enter, please?" Lucy asked sweetly making him frown. "Lucy, you do know that Lyon is only twenty, right? He cannot enter unless he is at least twenty-one."

"C'mon! It's just a one year difference!" Lucy whined making him frown and think about it, giving Gray and Natsu who were behind her a look. He silently communicated with them to see what they believed but it seemed like they had no problem corrupting the young male.

Eventually Elfman gave up fighting Lucy who was giving him pleading cute looks, opening the doors for them to enter.

"Fine, but don't let him get caught or else I'll get fired."

"Thank you so much, Elfman!" Lucy cried out in joy as she leaned up and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

His entire face grew red and hot as Lucy entered the club with Lyon, Natsu giving him a smirk as Gray gave him a pat on the shoulder. All four of them disappeared into the dark loud night-club as music blasted through out the large speakers.

Lyon looked quiet fascinated while Lucy squealed excitedly, looking behind herself to make sure the birthday boy and the brother of Lyon was following. When they were, she dragged Lyon all the way to the back to where private parties and events were held in—basically older men with lots of money—and she opened the door to it.

She hushed the crowd in there as she shoved Lyon in and quickly went to go grab Gray who was slowly dragging himself along-side with Natsu.

She stopped the two and smiled, grabbing her fiance to hug his arm. "Hey, Natsu, how about you and I go get a drink together then come back? Gray, you should go find Lyon, hm?" She winked making him nod and leave the pair behind.

Natsu raised his brow and stared in confusion but didn't question it as he followed her to the bar, the blonde ordering two Jack Daniels to wait.

"What's with you all of a sudden? You're so hyper and excited," He commented as he kept a hand on her waist while the other supported his body weight against the bar counter.

Lucy only shook her head as she kissed his chin, smiling sweetly. "I'm just excited for tonight... aren't you?" She purred against his ear making his senses become alert. His grip on her hip tightened slightly and he pressed her against himself even tightly, growling slightly. "Why don't we just head home, now?"

"Because we just got here, silly."

"But can't we—"

"Just hush and listen to me, will you?" She said as he made him quiet down. He frowned but listened as he gave her a light kiss, the blonde smiling happily.

"Two Jack Daniels for the lady and the birthday boy!" Freed said quite loudly as he came and placed the cups down in front of them. Lucy giggled and thanked him as Natsu nodded in his direction, grasping the cool cup to grab Lucy and drag her back to where Gray disappeared off to.

"What do you think they could be doing?"

"I don't know... talking, hopefully?" Lucy giggled making Natsu snicker at her small joke.

He brought her around the corner and opened the door to the private party room as it suddenly exploded in confetti, poppers, and screams of happy birthday!

It scared him badly and he spilled his alcohol everywhere making Lucy laugh out loud along with the rest of his friends and family.

"What the fuck."

"Happy Birthday, Natsu!"

"You're finally twenty-son! I can't believe you're so old now!" Igneel started to bawl as he came rushing towards his son, hugging him tight as the pink-haired man stumbled and awkwardly got hugged by the waist by his father.

He was even more confused when he saw Lisanna and everyone else smiling, holding used poppers and wearing birthday hats until he noticed Lucy laughing right beside him.

"God, please, dear mavis, don't tell me you—"

"Yep! I planned it—you can thank me later!" She grinned before rushing to find Lyon, ignoring the protests that came from the wet male as his voice was drowned out by the talking. She made a bee-line to the silver-haired male who was sitting by himself to grin, standing in front of him to have his attention focused on her. "Lyon!"

"Yes?"

"What are you doing here? What's going on?" She asked making him shrug and look away in silence.

Her smile faltered slightly but she ignored it as she set her drink down and grabbed his hand, trying to pull him off his seat. "C'mon! I'm going to get you mad drunk!"

"No thanks..." He rejected a bit sadly making Lucy frown. She huffed in irritation and looked around to see if she could find Gray. When she did, she found him all the way across the room drinking some liquid all alone in the corner.

She had a feeling something happened between the two but decided to ignore it.

"Lyon! Please, come on, stop sulking. I'm going to give you a huge hangover tomorrow!"

"But Lucy—"

"No buts!" She cried out as she grabbed his hand and pulled his on his feet, dragging him over to the mini bar right next to the sofas to sit him down on the stool. "Let's start you off with something light... can I have two bottles of beer, please?" Lucy asked making the bartender nod and go find some beer bottles. Once he did, he brought it towards them and Lucy handed Lyon one, smiling at the male who eyed the brown glass bottle.

"Lucy, I'm not sure about this..."

"It's okay! I'm an adult and I'm going to supervise you so you better drink up while I'm here," She winked as she took a sip of her drink, sighing happily as the cool drink slid down her hot throat.

She noticed he was still eyeing the bottle quizzically and she sighed, pressing the top to his lips forcefully. "Come on, Lyon! Try it!"

"Wait, Lucy—!" He cried out but stopped when he tasted the alcohol in his mouth.

He had no choice but to swallow, pulling away to cough slightly and smack his lips together, tasting the drink.

He was quiet for a moment before he took another sip, Lucy giggling at his actions. "Pretty nice, huh?"

"It's actually not that bad..."

"Trust me, there's way better ones than old regular beer. Can we get something stronger over here?!" Lucy called out to the bartender who went on blending something while Lyon continued drinking the beer, emptying the thing before Lucy even finished it. Soon, two cups of clear white liquid was slid towards them.

"Ooh! Lyon, this is called Vodka. Originally coming from Russia!"

"Is it strong?"

"I don't think it's that strong... try it!" She urged him as he took a slow and small sip.

It burned his throat a bit but he liked how it tasted and how it felt against his mouth, the silver-haired male drowning the drink before Lucy touched hers.

"Wow, you sure know how to drink, Lyon!" She giggled, already half-drunk as her cheeks flushed pink and her balance swayed.

Lyon merely smirked as he snapped at the bartender, bringing him over to where they were.

"Keep 'em coming!"

X

Screams and chants filled the air as there was a large circle formed around the bar, the sounds of chug chug chug! coming from the crowd.

Gray was isolated in the corner from them but when the chants got louder, he decided he needed to see what in the world was going on. So he left his corner and pushed through the crowd to see his younger brother having shots with Lucy and others, cries of joy coming from the loud crazy crowd.

He was surprised to see his younger brother drowning multiple shot cups.

He was only twenty!

"Lyon! Lyon! Lyon! Lyon!"

"Go Lucy! Show him who's boss!"

"C'mon Luce!"

"Ahhh!"

"What is going on?!" Gray cried out as he watched the two drink and slur, Natsu grinning as he cheered on his fiance. "A drinking contest, what does it look like?"

"I know it's a drinking contest but why is Lyon drinking?! He's under-aged!" Gray said making Natsu shrug. "All I know is that I'm getting laid tonight! Lucy's a fucking monster in bed when she's pissed-drunk!" He cheered excitedly as he watched Lucy drown bottles of alcohol.

Gray stared at the nonsense for a minute more till he walked on over to Lyon, grasping his shoulder to pull him to face him. "Lyon, what the fuck do you think you're doing?!"

"Drinkin'! What else do its look like?" He slurred, looking at Gray to squint then go back to drowning the bottle of tequila. Gray gawked at his brother until he grabbed the bottle and slammed it down, grabbing his shoulders to shake him slightly. "You shouldn't be drinking, you're under-aged!"

"Why do you care?!" He forcefully shoved him back making him stumble slightly.

Suddenly, the crowd became quiet as even Lucy was done drinking, leaning against her fiance who held her and watched.

"You never cared anyways! I was even the one to fly out here and fucking meet you! You're always so cold—so isolated!" He started to scream, spilling his emotions out in front of his brother who stared with wide eyes. "E—ever since high school started, you never had a full-on conversation with me! You never hung out with me anymore and always ditched me for girls or Natsu or friends! Haven't you realized yet that I'm hurting?!"

"Lyon—"

"No! I'm not done!" He cried out making him shut his mouth and listen to the emotions of his brother who now stood up and stumbled slightly. "I waited... I waited every single day for you to talk to me... and to acknowledge me... but all I get was a cold shoulder... It's almost been four years since you've seen me and it's the same! What's it gonna take, huh? HUH?!"

"Lyon, please, you're drunk—"

"You're the worst brother out there! But then again... you're the only one I got now... after mom and dad died years ago, you were who I depended on but all I was just the 'annoying' brother... we're not even blood-related! Do I have to kill myself to get you to notice me? What do I have to do?!"

"Yeah, you tell 'em, Lyon!" Lucy cheered as Natsu chuckled and hushed her, the ink-haired College senior frowning deeply as he realized everything.

"You're my fucking brother and I loved you but I was left alone in this world by myself... and I even tried my best trying to go to a good college but you don't say anything! I'm happy you let me stay... but you're the worst brother in the entire world!" Lyon said before he stumbled to the ground and fell, Gray quickly reaching forward to grab him before he hit the ground.

Gray was silent as he held his sobbing brother, kneeling on the ground as he held him tightly, mumbling apologies.

"I... I'm sorry, Lyon—I never meant... I'm sorry."

"You're the worst! The worst..."

"I swear, I swear on mom and dad's life—I'll pay attention to you from now on..!" Gray vowed as the two cried together, having an entire sob fest on the floor.

And that night, Gray swore he had some kind of epiphany. He swore on his parent's and his life that his brother will be his number one priority.
