Chapter 11: Neverland
Hey everyone! It's me, sakuraphoenix, and I'm back with a new chapter! I know, what's with the update issue? I've been busy! Anyways, before I get tortured to death during my last few days of school, disclaimer time.
Disclaimer: I do not own Kingdom Hearts. I also do not own Rita, Reina, and Yukie. They belong to D.J. Scales. I also do not own Luz. She belongs to Keybladeauraofpie.

We were in the Gummi ship. We had every intention to head back to Traverse Town, until I saw a pirate ship behind us. Wait; hit the pause button, a pirate ship?! That ain't no ordinary ship! That's Hook's ship!
"Uh, a big ship is catching up with us." Said Goofy
"Quit gawking! That's a pirate ship!" exclaimed Donald
Then Captain Codfish turned his ship towards us. My eyes widened in both surprise and fear. I quickly grabbed onto something, and for once, Sora got the hint.
"It's going to ram us! Hold on tight!" exclaimed Sora
After our crash, we found ourselves on Hook's ship, and I was having a very bad feeling. Even with the pigtails, I doubt Hook's stupid. But forget him, where are Rita, Reina, Yukie, Donald and Goofy?
"I'd didn't think you'd come, Sora, Luz, and Lumen." Said a male voice
We all turned to the source of the voice, and it was Riku!
"Good to see you again." Said Riku
"Where are Rita, Reina, Yukie, Donald and Goofy?" asked Lumen
"Are they that important to you? More important than old friends? Instead of worrying about them, you should be asking… about her." Riku said as he step-sided to reveal Kairi
"Kairi!" exclaimed Sora
"That's right. While you three were off goofing around, I finally found her." Said Riku
We were about to run to her, when Hooky showed up and stuck his hook in front of us.
"Not so fast. No shenanigans aboard my vessel, boys and girls." Said Hook
"Riku, why are you siding with the Heartless?!" exclaimed Luz
"The Heartless obey me now, Luz. Now I have nothing to fear." Said Riku
"Don't you see?! This was what I was trying to warn you about! You're so stupid Riku! He was smarter than you on a whole different level! He was almost a Keyblade Master too! Sooner or later, the Heartless will swallow your heart, and you'll be cast into the darkest abyss! You need to wake up before it's too late Riku! Don't you see that you're hurting Luz?!" I exclaimed
Riku looked over at Luz, whom was shaking and on the verge of crying, seeing what Riku has become.
"My heart's too strong. It won't be swallowed by the darkness." Said Riku
"Riku…" Luz said as I saw tears begin to form
"I've picked up a few other tricks as well. Like this, for instance." Said Riku
Riku held out his hand, and a Heartless version of Sora, Lumen, Luz, and… me appeared. But the Heartless me looked more like how I looked ten years ago rather than right now. How does he know what I looked like back then… when I didn't even meet him as a child?
"You can go see your friends now, but your friend with the blond hair stays." Said Riku
Hook restrained me as I saw Sora, Lumen, and Luz fall down a trapdoor.
"Sora! Luz! Lumen!" I cried
"You won't be going anywhere Hikari." Hook said as he stuck his hook under my chin
"Hikari, eh? So that's your name. Even the smartest of people wouldn't have guessed that. You've chosen a name that's similar to your own, but isn't. Hikaru, was it? That alias means 'shine' while your real name means 'light.' I must say I'm impressed." Said Riku
"Since we're talking names, why not talk about you and Terra. His name meant 'Earth' while your name means 'land.' Quite a coincidence for the earth to choose the land, while the water chose the sea, and as the wind chose the sky." I said while glaring at Riku
"For a Keyblade Master, you sure don't make a lot of sense. Let's get under way, already. And keep them away from Kairi until we're ready to land." Riku said before walking to the captain's cabin
As Hook was leading me there, he turned to an elderly man next to him. But still, why did I say those words? Even THAT didn't make sense to me.
"That scurvy brat thinks he can order me around!" exclaimed Hook
"What shall we do, Captain Hook?" asked the man
"Nothing! The hold is crawling with Heartless. Let them keep an eye on the brats." Said Hook
"But, Captain, you-know-who is also down…" started the man
"Shh… did you hear that, Smee? Oh, that dreadful sound!" exclaimed Hook
"Don't tell me you're still afraid of that crocodile, and I think you've gone senile. There wasn't any noise that I heard." I said
"Silence ye scurvy brat!" Hook exclaimed as he pushed me through the door
This was gonna be a long day.
Luz's P.O.V.
We had landed on top of each other, and apparently on top of Goofy, Donald, Rita, Reina, and Yukie, while Hikari was stuck in Captain Nutjob's quarters. At least we explained what happened.
"You don't say?" asked Goofy
"Yeah, it was definitely Kairi." I said
"We finally found her." Said Sora
"Alright! Then let's go up and talk to her and rescue Hikaru!" exclaimed Rita
"Yeah!" exclaimed Lumen
"Sounds great. Okay, but first… how about getting off?!" exclaimed Donald
"Oh, sorry." I said while laughing nervously
As soon that was done with, I had Sora on my shoulders looking through the small opening in the door. Just as I was looking, I could've sworn I heard a 'ahem'.
"How ya doin' there? Looking for a way out?" asked a male voice
A boy with red hair and a green tunic with matching leggings and tan shoes somersaulted through the air. More like it looked like he flew.
"Who are you?" asked Goofy
"I'm the answer to your prayers." Said the boy
Rita, Yukie, and Donald didn't seem to believe him though.
"Okay then. Fine. Have it your way." Said the boy
"But you're stuck in here too, aren't you?" asked Sora
"No. I'm just waiting for someone." Said the boy
"Who?" asked Lumen
A bright light flew around me then flew over to the boy.
"Tinker Bell, what took you so long?" asked the boy
The light disappeared to reveal a fairy wearing a green dress with her blond hair in a bun.
"Great job. So you found Wendy?" asked the boy
She then appeared to talk to the boy in her own language that he apparently understood.
"Hold on, Hikari and another girl were there, too?" asked the boy
No way. Hikari's been to this world before? And I'm guessing the other girl is Kairi.
"Are you crazy? There is no way I'm gonna leave Wendy there!" exclaimed the boy
"Aha! She must be pretty jealous." Said Donald
Tinker Bell looked mad, and kicked Donald in the beak! I wish Hikari was here to see it. She would've laughed at what just happened. But it was short-lived as the fairy flew out the door through the opening.
"Come on, Tink! Open up the door!" exclaimed the boy
"Ahem." I said as I cleared my throat
He took that as the hint that we wanted to learn his name.
"I'm Peter Pan." Peter said as he extended his hand
"I'm Sora." Sora said as he was about to accept his hand before he pulled it away
"Luz." I said
"I'm Lumen." Said Lumen
"Rita's the name." said Rita
"My name's Reina." Said Reina
"Yukie." Said Yukie
"Okay, we're in this together, but only 'til we find Hikari and Wendy." Said Peter
We traveled throughout the hold of the ship, but this place was crawling with Heartless! Is it really too late to save the Riku I know?
"So, uh, how come you can fly?" asked Goofy
"Anyone can fly. You wanna try?" asked Peter
He whistled, and Tinker Bell came back! She still looked mad though.
"Aw, haven't you cooled off yet, Tink?" asked Peter
She turned her back to him, and he took that moment to grab her by the wings. He then sprinkled some dust that seemed to originate from her.
"Just a little bit of pixie dust. There. Now you can fly." Said Peter
Donald attempted to fly by flapping his arms, but he hit the ground, hard. Tink flew up to him and started laughing.
Hikari's P.O.V.
I was not happy! I was tied up in Hook's quarters, and I was forced to hear their conversation! More like I was pretending to be tied up though, but I didn't want them to know that.
"What? So Wendy's not one of the chosen ones?" asked Hook
"There are seven, supposedly, and Maleficent says she's not one of them. The Keyblade Master Hikari on the other hand, is a seeress." Said Riku
"A what now?" I asked
"Tell me something. You can see the future, but before that happens, your heart flares up in pain, right?" asked Riku
How did… he know?! I haven't told anyone!
"How did you know that?! I haven't told anyone!" I exclaimed
"Your seeress powers appeared later than they should have. They should've manifested years ago. More than ten years ago, according to Maleficent." Said Riku
"Yeah? Well tell her to stop being a coward and come at me! I'd love to wipe the stupid smirk off her face, even if it's the last thing I do!" I exclaimed
"Whatever. You don't even know how to control your powers, or what they even mean, do you? Hoist anchor as soon as possible. Leave all the dead weight behind, including Wendy." Said Riku
"After the trouble of capturing her? And why those seven?! What is Maleficent planning, anyway?!" exclaimed Hook
"You're after the Princesses of Heart, aren't you?" I asked
"So you know something about them." Said Riku
"As a matter of fact, I do. I honestly though it was a legend before. Seven girls with hearts will with pure light and no darkness. When they're gathered, they will open the door to the heart of all worlds. Good luck with that buster. Why are you even siding with her anyway?!" I exclaimed
"Who knows? As long as it means getting Kairi's heart back, I couldn't care less." Said Riku
"You're wasting your time! The Heartless have devoured that girl's heart. I'll stake me other hand it's lost forever." Said Hook
"I will find it no matter what. Sora took what's precious to me away. Now I will take what's precious to him away." Said Riku
What's precious to him? It's Kairi, no doubt, I mean, Sora does like her, but Riku… what's precious to him? Wait a minute! Hook said that the Heartless devoured Kairi's heart! If that's true, then… why hasn't her body faded away, unless… no way. Kairi… she's a Princess of Heart too! If the Heartless did get her heart… no, that's impossible. Her heart separated from her body, true, but it couldn't have been devoured by the Heartless. Her heart needed to find someone who could keep her heart safe. Someone like… Sora.
"Uh, Captain…" started Smee
Hooky walked over to something that looked like a pipe.
"What?" asked Hook
"The prisoners have escaped. What's more Peter Pan is with them." Said Smee
"Peter! Ha! You're in trouble now Hooky!" I exclaimed
"Silence! Blast that Peter Pan! Alright then, bring the hostage to me cabin, Smee! Hop to it!" exclaimed Hook
Luz's P.O.V.
We had walked around in the lower areas of the ship when Tinker Bell began going nuts!
"What is it, Tink?" asked Peter
She flew away.
"Peter? Peter Pan?" asked a girl
The owner of the voice then bent down to see us and Peter. She wore a blue dress with black shoes and had brown hair.
"Wendy!" exclaimed Peter
"Please hurry! The pirates are coming!" exclaimed Wendy
"What?! I'll be right up there! Just hold on!" exclaimed Peter
Sora then had a shocked look on his face.
"Wendy?" asked Sora
"Yes?" asked Wendy
"Is there another girl in there with you? Along with a girl with blond hair?" asked Sora
"Oh, why, yes, there is another girl, and the blond-haired girl you're talking about, Hook took her away earlier after throwing her in here. But the girl seems to be asleep. She hasn't budged an inch." Said Wendy
"Kairi? Kairi!" exclaimed Sora
She seemed to have moved her hand before Wendy gasped as Kairi was taken away again.
"Wendy! Hey, let's get up there!" exclaimed Peter
Hikari's P.O.V.
Now that the coast is clear, I relaxed my muscles, making it easy for the ropes around my wrists to come loose. Just as I did, Sora came running into the room.
"Riku, wait!" exclaimed Sora
He disappeared in a dark corridor holding Kairi as his, Luz's and Lumen's anti-forms arrived. Mine must still be out there. As soon as I was free, I was almost attacked from above! I rolled out of the way just in time. The anti me was fighting with my skills, my moves, my everything, except for my spells. She was fighting with dark versions of them. The thing is, no matter how far my friends are apart from me, I'll always find a way back to them. That… is my strength. With a final charge of light, I raced at my anti clone, and defeated it, once and for all.
"You okay Hikaru?" asked Sora
"Yeah. I'm fine." I said
"Peter said that there was a girl named Hikari here. Did you see her?" asked Lumen
"No. I didn't." I said
"Oh." Said Lumen
"What's so important about her anyway?" I asked
"She's… she's the only link to my past. If I can find her, maybe… maybe I can know where I came from, or even who I was." Said Lumen
"I'm sure you'll find her Lumen, and who knows, she might be closer than you think." I said
"Thanks Hikaru." Said Lumen
We got out of Hooky's quarters, and back onto the deck of the ship.
"Quite a codfish, that Riku running off with that girl without even saying goodbye." Said Hook
"Run off where? Tell me, where did he go?!" exclaimed Sora
"To the ruins of Hollow Bastion, where Maleficent resides. But you won't be going there." Said Hook
Oh no! Tink was stuck in that lantern! She did sprinkle some pixie dust on me before she had to hide from Hook. I hope it was enough to fly.
"Unless you intend to leave your little pixie friend behind?" asked Hook
No choice. We have to dismiss our weapons. As soon as we all did so, the Heartless surrounded us.
"Hand over the Keyblade and I'll spare your lives. Be glad I'm merciful, unlike the Heartless. So, which will it be? The Keyblade, or the plank?" asked Hook
I then heard a tick-tock sound. It's the crocodile!
"It's him! The crocodile that took me hand! Oh, Smee! He's after me other hand! I can't stay here! Go away! Oh, I can't stand the sight of him! Smee, you take care of them!" exclaimed Hook
I slowly began backing up away from the Heartless towards the end of the plank, along with Lumen. I suddenly felt his hand around mine.
"How do we get out of this?" asked Lumen
"Did that pixie by any chance fly around you while sprinkling something?" I asked
"Yes. Peter Pan called it pixie dust! He said with it, we can fly!" exclaimed Lumen
"Fly you two! Just believe, and you can do it!" exclaimed Peter
That's right, I believe in my friends. I believe… that I can fly. Lumen and I fell off the end of the plank, and we were flying! Away from the crocodile and in the air! Peter took the chance to get Tink back, and she immediately flew next to me, and said something that appeared to be along the lines of 'nice to see you again.'
"Thanks, Peter." Said Lumen
"Hey, don't mention it. You didn't think I'd leave you and Tink behind, did you?" asked Peter
I shook my head before giving a smile of thanks, and for that brief moment, Peter recognized me. I then gave him a look saying, 'tell you later.' Smee ran for it, leaving us with the Heartless.
"You're all going down!" exclaimed Sora
With the power to fly on our side, it was a lot easier for us to take care of the extra Heartless. Now that the Heartless were gone, Peter knocked on Hook's door.
"Is that you, Smee? Did you finish them off?" asked Hook
"Aye, captain. They walked off the plank, every last one of them." Peter said while doing a perfect imitation of Smee's voice
Hook then ran out of his cabin, looking for Smee as we hid behind the door when Peter used his dagger on Hook's behind, and made him jump in the air.
"P-Peter Pa - blast you!" Hook exclaimed as he pointed his hook at us
"Ready to make a splash, you codfish? Now it's your turn to walk the plank!" exclaimed Peter
His moves from before didn't even change much, except on a stone with a crocodile waiting in the water, it was on his ship. Soon enough, he was off the ship, and in the water, where the crocodile was waiting! As he fell, he dropped a piece of paper, which I caught, and it was another page of Ansem's report! I laughed as I saw the crocodile chasing Hook. Sora just looked at the deck, looking upset.
"Uh, Kairi couldn't wake up, so maybe she's really lost her…" started Goofy
"Shh!" Donald and Rita exclaimed in unison
"Sora." Said Peter
"I still can't believe it. We really flew. Wait 'til I tell Kairi. I wonder if she'll believe me. Probably not." Said Sora
"You can bring her to Neverland sometime. Then she can try it herself." Said Peter
"If you believe, you can do anything, right? I'll find Kairi. I know I will. There's so much I want to tell her about flying, the pirates, and everything else that's happened." Said Sora
Suddenly, Tink flew in front of Peter, and began talking to him.
"What's that, Tink? What about the clock tower? You say there's something there?" asked Peter
We flew to the clock tower Tink was talking about, to find Wendy sitting there. I noticed all the other clocks at midnight, so why is this one saying it's 15 minutes before midnight? I guess we're gonna have to fix it. As soon as we did, the Keyhole to this world appeared! Luz's Keyblade began to react, and she sealed the Keyhole to this world. Peter was flying next to Wendy by the clock tower.
"Peter, are you really going back to Neverland?" asked Wendy
"Afraid so. But we can see each other any time. As long as you don't forget about Neverland, that is." Said Peter
Tink was steaming mad. Glad I'm not Peter. Suddenly, she began flying around me and Luz.
"Oh, boy. She's gettin' steamed again. Do me a favor. Look after her for me, will ya?" asked Peter
"What?" asked Lumen
"Don't worry, we will, right?" asked Luz
"Yep! After all, we girls have to stick together." I said
Tink then kissed me and Luz on the cheek, and we learned how to summon Tinker Bell.
