Gracey88 I love you so much right now, you're a loyal follower and thank you so much for reviewing.
As for why I haven't been updating for the last several months, well school. My English class pretty much sapped the creative out of me, however I finished that class and I've found my creativity again, so I'm back. Hopefully I can finish this story soon and post a new one I literally just thought of.
Anyhow let's get this story going again shall we :)
^Bakura^
This kid sleeps like a rock.
Seriously, I knocked him out and dragged him off just in time for the Pharaoh and his stupid High Priest to show up, and he's still out.
On another note, Yugi is just as light as he looks. I know he's short and skinny, but I thought he'd be a little heavier since he lived with thieves most his life, but no he's as light as a feather-a feather that sleeps like a rock.
I thought I'd be a little creative so I brought him to my once home, Kul Elna, well what's left of it. It took all night to get here too, after I stole a horse that is. What did you expect me to carry the shrimp myself?
We're hiding in a cave, once a temple. It's cold and dark, and filled with ghosts, but none of that bothers me. I'm sitting cross-legged across the room from where I laid him; he's lying on his back stretched out like a lazy cat, while I'm over here thinking of what to tell the shrimp when he wakes up. I'm not sure yet, I don't know if he was listening to the Pharaoh when he came to town or if he was just off doing something when I chained up Mit.
Mit, that thing almost bit my arm off.
Yugi must be dreaming, he keeps twitching, it's irritating me.
Oh look, he's trying to get up, must be awake-finally.
I walk over to him, kneeling down in front of him, "Yugi."
He jumps at my voice, staring at me and scooting back but the wall keeps him from going too far, "What do you want?"
I can see why the Pharaoh had kept him, his amethyst eyes are quiet attractive, though not the chocolate brown I prefer. I wonder if Yugi has had someone care for him. Let's find out, "You."
Yugi blinks confused, "What?"
"I want you. I can keep you safe, and I will never cast you away like the Pharaoh did." I lie my best, making every word sound true and pure. It's one of the oldest tricks in the book, but on the right victim it works like a charm.
Yugi frowns, "The Pharaoh knew the truth. He was looking for me."
"Yes, because you were his slave, nothing more. He never loved you."
"Y-you love me? What about Mit? Where is he?"
I place my hands on his shoulder as he tries to get away from me again, "Calm down, Yugi. Please. The Pharaoh's men killed him, I tried to stop them but they wouldn't listen. The Pharaoh said Mit couldn't be allowed to live because he killed several of the palace guards. I'm sorry Yugi."
His eyes grow wide and he slumps down still staring at me. His eyes fill with tears and I pull him close as he cries silently. The whole time I pretend I'm holding someone quite different, making it easier to act out my fake love.
Yugi falls asleep crying, and I lay him back down, glad that I apparently hit him so hard he conveniently forget that I had punched him unconscious in the first place.
