I saw Yugi running toward Mit's screams. I wanted nothing more than to run after him, but I couldn't move. When the screams finally stopped Seth, Marik and I took off through the village, well I took off and they followed me. They managed to catch up to me just as the screams started again, louder and more frantic making us drop to the ground. A scrapping sound meet my ears just as the screams stopped again, replaced by a hissing and snapping sound. Once my head stopped pounding I looked up to see Mit almost right in front of me.

His front paws and neck shackled a heavy chain connecting them in a small pyramid. His big yellow eyes staring right at me, anger flashed through them replaced by wonder as he planted his paws and pulled his head up trying to break the chain.

"Where is Yugi?" Mit stops his pulling to turn to the dessert, than snorts turning back to the chain. I stand up drawing my sword and stepping forward. Mit growls, "I won't hurt you." Still growling Mit pulls his head up again hard, the chain groaning in protest, "You don't need my help, but it'll faster if you let me help you."

Mit glares at me before snorting and nodding, he pulls the chain tight again and I slash it with my sword, the chain cracking away from his paws, Mit stands to what I assume is his full height, as tall as a great horse, but wider- or maybe that's his fur.

"I know Yugi didn't leave you. Who took him? Was it Bakura?"

Glaring at me like he doesn't really like me Mit nods and looks to the dessert, than backs up laying down, his eyes on something behind me. I turn around to see Marik and Seth- I had forgotten about them. Marik's mouth is hanging open, but Seth seems more uncomfortable then shocked, "Marik, are you alright?"

Marik snaps his mouth closed, "Of course, Pharaoh. Um...can we trust that thing?"

I hear Mit growl behind me, "He is loyal to Yugi, I see no reason not to trust him." Mit casually walks up beside me, staring into the dessert, worry in his eyes, "Mit can you take us to Yugi?" Mit hisses, much like a cat, and tilts his head to one side then the other and back again like his head is dancing. We look at the beast confused; Mit nods yes, "Get the horses."

Mit snorts beside me while we walk back to the others, his eyes never leaving the dessert even as we walk right though the village. We meet the other just outside the village and Mit lies down away from the horses.

"Isis, Mahado, I want you to return to the palace. Isis talk to Ryou, see what he knows about the Thief King. Mahado, see if you can find out what Mit is. I have the feeling I've seen him before somewhere."

Both nod, get on their horses and leave without another word. I turn to see what Mit is doing and see he's gone, "Where'd he go?" I ask no one in particular, everyone looks confused for a moment. Seth than points behind me smiling-Seth never smiles. I turn to see Mit walking to me with a small bag hanging from his mouth. He puts it in my hands, looking at it I can see it had been buried in the sand. I open it and pour out the contents; the necklace I had given Yugi, along with his arm bands and the small bracelet from the festival. I put them back in the bag and put it in my saddle bag determined to give them back to Yugi once we find him.
